Compliments. Chocolate Chip Cookies Review.

 

This is my third review from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the chocolate chip cookies.

These are just a boxed cookie, nothing fancy and aren't overall that great but still pretty good and in saying that they are currently better than the other store brand chocolate chip cookies I've had as of late. I would buy them and eat them again and I rate them 3.5/5.

La Cocina. Fiesta Tortilla Chips Review.

 

This was my first time trying this brand and flavour of tortilla chips, these are fiesta flavour.

I loved the flavour, it was similar to salsa but the flavour was muted. I don't think I'd buy them again but I'd eat them if offered and I rate then 3.5/5.

Today is now March 24th 2025 and this is what I received:

Like with my last purchase I'm glad I got the XL, as the L wouldn't have fit. These each are made very well and have great feeling fabric, the red one though fits the tightest.

I rate the red one a 4/5, the pink one a 4.5/5, the purple one a 4.5/5 and I rate the shopping experience a 4.5/5 as I find their products a bit pricey but more worth it on sale.

I've done a review from this website once before (search it on my blog) and today I'm doing another purchase.

This is the item I picked:

I bought one blind box, they did have two options to pick two pre-opened boxes but I wanted that element of surprise.

Here is a breakdown of my cart:

I made the purchase today March 12th 2025 and I paid for 7 to 14 day shipping, we will wait and see when it shows up. Note it shipped the following morning, as last time it shipped out very quickly.

Today is now March 21st 2025 and this is what I received:

I got a free pin and this is the little girl I pulled from my blind bag, she is adorable! She is great quality and heavy, I think more worth the price than I thought, I understand the price of these things but this was certainly a splurge. 

I had a great shopping experience and rate it 4/5 and the item a 5/5. I may do business with them again in the future.

Gold Label. Beef Taco Kit Review.

 

I will start by saying I did not read this is a filling kit, it does not include tortillas, so I ate this mix on rice. This is a meat, salsa and cheese mix. 

The meat was so bad, it was like the smell, taste and texture of dog food. The cheese I mixed in so I had no opinion on it. Then the salsa, it was spicy (which is not stated on the box) but was good. This was a terrible meal kit, I still ate a bowl being hungry but I would not buy it or eat it again and I rate it 1/5.

Arby's. Chicken Cheddar Ranch Sandwich Review.

 

I've done quite a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the chicken cheddar ranch sandwich. 

It's a solid sandwich, tastes great with not too much ranch but I did not love the bun, it felt a bit overdone. I'd buy it and eat it again and I rate it 4/5.

Your Fresh Market. Artichoke and Asiago Dip Review.

 

I've been eating their products throughout my life but this is my first review, this is their artichoke and asiago dip.

I ate this with tortilla chips and I hated this dip, it tasted like hospital bandages and a little cheese. I would not eat this or buy this again and I rate it 1.5/5

Rockstar. Island Bliss Energy Drink Review.

 

I've done a few reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the island bliss.

It's very island, it's like a beach vacation drink, very summery and it tastes mostly of quava. I don't love the drink but it's good. I would not buy it but I'd drink it if offered and I rate it 3.5/5.

Arby's. Reuben Sandwich and Loaded Fries Review.

I've done quite a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the Reuben (minus the sauerkraut) and the loaded fries.

For the sandwich I was not into the meat it tasted like bologna, it was too saucy, the sandwich was very soggy and had a bad texture. I rate it 1.5/5.

The fries didn't have enough cheese sauce, it was mostly sour cream and I don't like the taste of plain sour cream, there was not enough cheese sauce to mix it in and overall a let down. I rate it 2.5/5.

Celsius Energy. Artic Vibe Drink Review.

 

This is my second review of this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the artic vibe.

It's a mix of weird berries, not any good ones. It tastes a bit odd but overall a let down. I would not buy or drink this again and I rate it a 2/5.

Crazy Uncle. Hard Strawberry Cream Soda Review.

 

This is my first time trying this brand, today I'm having the hard strawberry cream soda, the alcohol being vodka.

This has the strawberry flavour I wanted the Crush to have, it's pretty good but I think I'd prefer regular cream soda. Overall a good drink and the only cooler I currently like, I don't know if I'd buy it again but I'd drink it if offered and I rate it 3.5/5.

Tim Hortons. Garlic Bread Review.

 

I've done many reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the garlic bread.

This is the saddest item on their menu. It's a dry stale bun with a whisper of garlic and cheese on it. I would absolutely not buy or eat this again and I rate it 2/5.

Tim Hortons. 3 Meat Flatbread Pizza Review.

 

I've done many reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the 3 meat flatbread pizza. 

This had a little spice to it, maybe from the sausage and overall it was really good, it's so far been my favourite flatbread of theirs. I'd rate it a 3.5/5 compared to other flatbread I've had other than Tim Hortons but I'd rate it a 4/5 compared to this line.

Gong Cha. Strawberry Smoothie Review.

 

This is my second review from this restaurant (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying a strawberry smoothie.

It tastes weirdly like bubblegum which I'm not a fan of, other than that it's like melted ice cream which was nice. I don't think I'd buy it or drink it again but I rate it 3.5/5.

Ben's. Street Food. Chicken Sausage Gumbo Review.

 

I've been eating Ben's for a long time but this is my first review. This is their new street food line and today I'm trying the chicken sausage gumbo.

It's watery but doesn't have a bad flavour and I felt it could use more spice. I'd eat it again if offered but I wouldn't but it again and I rate it 3/5.

Crush Strawberry Drink Review.

 

This is my second review of this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the strawberry. I have had the other types of Crush but not for review.

It's so boring, a whisper of a flavour but the smell and flavour are nice, it's like cream sodas boring cousin. I would not likely buy or drink this again and I rate it 3/5.

Turkish Flames. Lahmacun, Tavuk and Et Doner Review.

 

This was my first time trying Turkish food, I got the Lahmacun (Turkish pizza), Tavuk Doner (chicken doner) and Et Doner (beef doner). 

The pizza was delicious, it was not like anything I've had before and it was spicy with a great textured crust. I would absolutely order this again and try the other pizzas, I rate this 4.5/5. 

Next is the beef doner. I feel it needs sauce, the bread is tough/burnt, the meat was just fine but had good veggies, it just needed more lettuce. I would not buy or eat this again and I rate it 3/5. 

Lastly the chicken doner. Again it needs sauce, still the bread is tough/burnt, I didn't like the texture of the chicken it was rubbery and off-putting but the veggies were the only good part. I would not buy or eat this again and I rate it 2/5.

Great Value. Chocolate Toffee Hazelnuts Review.

 

I've done many reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the milk chocolate butter toffee hazelnuts.

I did not love the texture but the chocolate and hazelnut was fine. This is my second toffee item and I have learned I hate toffee but this turned out much nicer than the last toffee item I had from this brand. I would not buy or eat these again and I rate them 2.5/5.

Rockstar. Watermelon Energy Drink Review.

 

I've done a few reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the watermelon flavour.

It tastes good but it's quite sour and not for me. I would not buy it but I'd drink it again if offered and I rate it 3.5/5.

Old Dutch. Jamaican Jerk Beef Jerky Review.

 

I've done two other beef jerky from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm doing the Jamacian jerk flavour.

This is wonderful, I don't love the texture but the flavour is delicious and had a nice spice. These are my favourite flavour of this line so far, I will absolutely buy and eat them again and I rate it 5/5.

Takis. Buckin Ranch Review.

 

This is my first time having Takis, yes haha wild I know! I have always been afraid they are too spicy for me personally, so I never gave them a go but I might in the future. Today I'm trying the ranch ones, these are labeled as non spicy, I like a bit of spice but non spicy can also be good.

These sucked, the smell and flavour was odd not like ranch to me and the texture was a bit off like crispy, dusty and weird to chew. I would not eat or buy them again and I rate them 2.5/5.
