Ice Cream 2. Root Beer Float Review.

 

I've done a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the root beer float. Recently I did one from Fast Eddies but theirs was not a real root beer float, this one is root beer and ice cream!

It was good, I just didn't love the root beer, I wished it was A&W but their soft serve is delicious and went well with the root beer. I don't think I'd buy one or drink one again, it was a lot for me but was worth checking off my list and I rate it 4/5.

I've done quite a few reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the mini birthday cake cookies.

These are lovely, I don't love the texture but it's pretty good and I enjoy the flavour. I would buy these and eat these again and I rate them 4/5.

Frankie's Organic. Jalapeno Puffs Review.

 

I've done one other review from this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the jalapeno puffs.

Delicious, the best jalapeno food item I've ever had. It's spicy, well seasoned and just wow of a snack. I feel it's a bit too spicy for me, it's tongue and throat numbing but still great. I would absolutely buy them and eat them again and I rate it 5/5.

Mo'Cha. Mango Slush Bubble Tea Review.

 

This is my first review from this restaurant and I got the mango slush with strawberry jelly, it's on the kids menu I learned, as it's really small in size and they don't have bigger slushes.

I found out this also comes with popping boba, which I was not really a fan of and I give them a 3/5, the slush itself was great though I should've added a bit more sugar as I felt it was a little too tart for my personal taste but not a problem and I rate it 4.5/5, then the strawberry jelly were really nice and I have no complaints I'm always a fan of jelly and I rate it 4/5.

Oh My Berries! Sour Watermelon Gummy Berries Review.

 

I've done the Oh My Bears from this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the sour watermelon berries.

These are quite nice, I don't love they are damp and the texture isn't great but they are vegan so it's understandable but I do like the flavour, they are a nice hint of sour and a good watermelon flavour. I did like them but I'm not sure I'd buy them again but I'd eat them if offered and I rate them 4/5.

Black River. Apple Mango Juice Review.

 

This is my first review of this brand, today I'm trying the apple mango juice.

I enjoyed this drink though I felt the apple was a little much compared to the mango but it was so nice together. I would buy it and drink it again and I rate it 4/5.

Thirsty Buddha. Root Beer Review.

 

This is my second review from this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the root beer.

This one is not as bad as I thought, it just has not really any sweetness or creaminess to the root beer, which I personally don't like. The chicory root in this one fits better with a root beer than with the last one which was cream soda. The more I drank it, the more I disliked it, it's just roots I would not buy this or drink it again and I rate it 1.5/5.

Thirsty Buddha. Cream Soda Review.

 

This is my first time trying this brand, though I have had a Hungry Buddha product before, in my Healthy Planet review (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the cream soda.

The cream soda flavour is there is that's nice but there's chicory root in it and it ruins the drink, I could not drink much of it. I would not buy or drink this again and I rate it 1/5.

This is my first review from this brand and today I'm trying the rainbow twist flavour.

This is so good I just feel the cherry is too strong but otherwise it's like a popsicle and I was pleasantly surprised. I would buy it and drink it again and I rate it 4/5. 

Strawberry Toast Crunch Cereal Review.

 

I've done a few toast crunch reviews (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the strawberry toast crunch.

It would be good if it didn't taste fake, the flavour is almost there for me, almost. I would not buy it or likely eat it again if offered and I rate it 3/5.

Fresh Attitude. Caesar Salad Review.

 

I've done one other review from this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the caesar salad.

A good salad and I really like the dressing but the croutons suck, they have no flavour and the texture isn't great. Overall one of the nicer caesar salads I've had and I would buy it and eat it again and I rate it 4/5.

Two Bite. Smores Cupcakes Review.

 

I've done two other reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the smores cupcakes.

They are so artificial and sad, specifically the cake itself, the frosting was nice but I didn't really taste the graham cracker dust. Overall not good and I would not buy them or likely eat them again even if offered and I rate them 2.5/5.

Dial A Dinner. Pre-Made Meals. Product and Website Review.

 

I've been following this page on Facebook and I've been discussing it with my family and friends for a while now. Each week she posts what's on her menu, so I decided to finally make an order, here are the items I chose:

I'm sharing this order with someone else and I got the cordon, they got the quesadilla, we will be splitting the parfait and I'll be sharing with others the pies so we each get one.

Here is the cart:

I placed the order today August 14th 2025 and was told delivery is on August 19th 2025.

I received a text August 15th 2025 confirming my address and she said she would be in my area about 2-3pm Tuesday.

Today is August 19th 2025 and I got a text she was on her way and she dropped the food off.

Here is what I received and my review of each item:

The quesadilla was delicious though she felt 3 minutes was too long to reheat it and found parts a bit soggy and oily, while some parts a bit dry but fantastic flavour 4.5/5. The salsa was great and was a good addition to the quesadilla 5/5. She does not like sour cream so that was not reviewed.

For the chicken I didn't love the amount of herbs on it and felt it overtook the chicken. I also felt it was a bit lacking on the amount of ham. Overall just a fine dish 3.5/5; I normally eat a breaded cordon bleu so I would've preferred that personally. Broccoli was just broccoli, it was good 4/5. Mashed potatoes were some of the best mashed potatoes I've had 4.5/5 and I did share a bite with others and they loved them aswell.

The parfait was good especially the granola, it just needs more granola and I wasn't crazy about the chocolate chips but they are cool to try, as I've never had a parfait with chocolate chips in it before; we also felt there could've been a few more strawberries 4/5.

Lastly the banana cream pies, they were so lovely, they are so banana, soft and silky 4.5/5, I just would've preferred coconut as that's typically higher for me.

To sum it up this was pretty great of an experience and we are interested in the future to purchase from Dial A Dinner again, as we are eager to try many other menu items. We have been eyeing the butter chicken and looking forward to seeing that on the menu again, as we definitely want to give it a try in the future. The shopping experience was easy, there were no issues, great communications and delivery was smooth, I rate it a 5/5 and the food portion a 4.5/5.

Fresh Attitude. Naan Crunch Salad Review.

 

This is my first review from this brand and today I'm trying the naan crunch salad. 

This is one of the best salads I've had, the dressing is similar to a sweet onion you'd get at a sub shop and I absolutely love the crunchy naan pieces, this would be even better with chicken. I will say don't do what I did and pick the stems out after you toss it in dressing, I had to fork the stems off, I hated having to pick the stems out in the first place, that's my only qualm. I would absolutely buy and eat this again and I rate it 4.5/5.

Flow. Peach Blueberry Water Review.

 

I've done one other review from this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the peach blueberry water.

Really god flavour but the water is weird, as it was last time. It's not a bad water just strange and I don't think I'd buy it or drink it again and I rate it 3/5.

I've done two other reviews from this company (search them on my blog) and today I've made another purchase, I was called to these items by their great price.

I got a set of 3 then a 4th one as a single, I am gifting a few but keeping one for myself. Here is the cart:

It came out to $17.64 USD or $24.37 CAD, I made the order today August 5th 2025.

Today is now August 18th 2025 and this is what I received: 

This red one is mine, I don't love the fact he's pooping and it comes with a tiny poop but he's still cute.

They are cute, I think they are itty bitty though, smaller than I imagined but not bad. I don't think I'd purchase more but they are a good price. Overall I rate the product a 4/5 and the shopping experience a 4/5.
