Cookie Pal. Peanut Butter and Apple Dog Treats Review.

 

I've done one other review from this brand (search it on my blog) and this time I'm trying the peanut butter and apple treats. I will repeat myself with what I said in the first review: This is not a regular review for me, I did this review for shits n giggles. This is not a dog treats eaten by a dog review, this a human eating dog treats reiew. The bag says human grade so I thought, hey let's give it a go, trying dog treats for the now second time in my entire life.

These had a nice apple flavour but the peanut butter was strange, it didn't smell or taste like regular peanut butter, it was a bit fake or off, these were not that good; as one would imagine. They don't have any sweetness of course and the texture is dry and gritty but I've had worse even human food. I will of course not be buying or eating these again and I rate them 2/5. Like I mentioned in the previous review, I gifted them as I no longer have a dog.

Cookie Pal. Birthday Cake Dog Treats Review.

 

This is not a regular review for me, I did this review for shits n giggles. This is not a dog treats eaten by a dog review, this a human eating dog treats review. The bag says human grade so I thought, hey let's give it a go, trying dog treats for the first time in my entire life.

These are birthday cake treats, they smell good and the flavour is there and it's nice but there's no sweetness of course and they are dry, the texture is also dense and gritty. These were not the worst things I've eaten, I've had human food much worse than this, so I will say they were not horrible. I of course will not be eating or buying these again but I rate them 2.5/5. I gave them away, as I no longer have a dog.

Johnny Greeko's. Beef/Lamb Gyro and More Review.

My first time having beef/lamb was a gyro I had back in 2017 and I had only rated it a 3/5, WELL since then I've eaten it and crave it on occasion, I didn't love it but something about it I miss and often want really bad. This new restaurant opened up and I'm excited to give theirs a try. I also tried the roast potatoes and a Caesar salad.

This gyro has the toppings of tomatoes, lettuce and garlic sauce. Last time I did a bunch of weirder toppings but this time I wanted something a bit different. It typically also comes with onions but they are red and I don't love them if I'm honest. The gyro was really good, I still don't love lamb but it was the best one I've had so far and they really stuffed the pita and added extra. I would buy it and eat it again but not often and I rate it 4.5/5.

The roast potatoes were pretty good, had a nice Greek-style seasoning on them and had a lovely texture. I didn't love them overall but they were pretty good and I rate them 3.5/5.

Lastly the Caesar salad, it was pretty good, they may make their own croutons and I liked them, the dressing was nice and the lettuce and bacon were pretty good. Overall this was a good salad and I rate it 4/5.

North Shawarma. Burger, Chicken Sandwich and More Review.

I ordered a burger, chicken sandwich, fries and a garden salad. This place has some of the best burgers, fries and chicken sandwiches I've had. 

I would say the texture of the burger is a tad spongey for me personally and the bun was a bit overdone but it was still delicious and had good toppings (tomato, lettuce, pickles, mayo and ketchup) I rate it 4.5/5.

The chicken sandwich had the same toppings as the burger. The chicken was crunchy, well battered and the toppings were good as well as a nice bun, though the chicken batter could've been seasoned but again still delicious I rate it 4.5/5. 

These are so far the best Shawarma restaurant fries I've had and overall one of the top fries I've tried, they are a great texture and taste fantastic I rate them 4.5/5. 

Lastly the salad was also quite good but I was not wowed. I added cucumbers, tomatoes and a garlic sauce. I liked the sauce a lot and yet again nice toppings, it made for a good simple salad, I rate it 4/5. 

This will surely not be my last order, I'd want to order again and again.

Kashi. Go Active. Mixed Berry Crunch Cereal Review.

 

I've done 3 other reviews from this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the mixed berry cereal.

I first tried it plain, it was fine but there's a weird flavour to it I don't love, I'm not sure if it's the cereal itself or the berries. Then I tried it with milk, I was worried as this is a granola cereal and in milk they often turns to cement, this one thankfully did not. Lastly I tried it with yogurt, bananas, strawberries and blueberries, it was pretty good. Overall best in milk or yogurt but wouldn't make for a bad snack to pack dry for a trip or outing. I think the cereal though is dry and boring as expected for a healthier cereal as well as it being a granola cereal but I've had worse and the berries added a good natural sweetness, chew, texture and improved this cereal. I don't know if I'd buy it again but I'd eat it if offered and I rate it dry 3/5 and with milk or yogurt 3.5/5.

Leclerc. Celebration. Mini Double Chocolate Cookies Review.

 

This is my second review from this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm doing the double chocolate mini cookies. Sorry I took a photo of the French side of the box haha.

These are not good, they are boring, fake tasting and one note; they have a sad flavour and I was disappointed. I would not buy or likely eat them again and I rate them 2.5/5.
