Lindt Swiss Classic. Double Milk Chocolate Bar Review.

I have done another Lindt bar and a few other of their products (search it on my blog) and this time I'm doing the double milk bar.

This bar is a lot like a Kinder Egg but the chocolate of course is different. It just tastes faint of kinder but it's not a bad bar. I don't think I'd buy it again but I'd eat it again if offered, I rate it 3.5/5.

Update: it's been a few years since this review and I did continue to buy this bar and I love it, it's delicious. The more I ate the more I liked it, it's not as good as Kinder but it's the next best thing, this is one of my favourite chocolate bars right now and I rate it 4/5.

Chicago American. Merry Cherry Vanilla Popcorn Review.

 

I've tried two other items from this brand (search them on my blog) and this time it's a cherry vanilla popcorn.

They are very cherry flavoured of course, like someone dunked popcorn into liquid cherry tootsie pop. I didn't find any vanilla flavour but often you miss vanilla flavours, especially against something so strong as this cherry flavour. They were alright but I don't think I'd get them again, I rate them 2.5/5 cause they aren't quite a 3/5 but they really aren't that bad.

PC. Chicken Teriyaki Ready Meal Review.

 

This is a single serve PC ready to heat meal but not frozen and I'm sad it cost 6 dollars, I get it but it's a small serving for even a single person to enjoy.

It tasted just alright, I'm also sad there was not a touch of spice in this dish. The rice, chicken and veggies were fair but the sauce was my least favourite part. It was just okay but I wouldn't get it again and I rate it 3/5.

Sweet Shoppe. 4D. Summer Drinks Gummy Candy Review.

 

I'm back at it again with the 4D gummies, I'm always nervous these are always a hit or miss, mostly misses but I'm aiming to grab as many as I can and the Dollar Tree stocks these very often and I always come across new ones I haven't tried yet.

I was surprised these tasted good, I don't like the texture much but not too bad overall. The more I eat them though the less I'd get them again and I rate them 3/5.

Kellogg's. Maple Syrup Eggo Cereal Review.

 

I was watching Youtuber's Rhett and Link from Good Mythical Morning try out this cereal and I then happened to see it in the store, I grabbed it for review.

I found the smell is too strong for me and I already hate the smell of maple, it makes me physically sick but it was ok flavour-wise and the smell is less strong with milk as well as outside the bag. Overall honestly they are just maple flavoured honeycombs cereal. I wouldn't get them again and I rate them 3/5, as I really like honeycombs cereal, I just don't need the maple personally.

Huer. Sour Brats Gummy Candy Review.

 

These were all really good flavours, they weren't that sour except the green one and honestly I like these a lot more than Sour Patch Kids. These were a nice chew and all around a good gummy. I'd get them again and I rate them 4.5/5.

Swizzels. Squashies. Sour Cherry and Apple Chewy Candy Review.

 

They look like erasers but these smell amazing and while the texture is a bit weird and soft meets stretchy meets almost rubbery, they taste pretty good but they are not sour whatsoever. I'd eat them again and I rate them 3.5/5.

I recently reviewed the white cheddar ones from this brand (search it on my blog) and this time I'm trying out the apple cinnamon flavour.

These are a little strong on flavour but the flavour isn't that good but they are more flavourful than the white cheddar ones. I don't like them enough to get them again but I rate them 3/5.

Big Cheese Pizza. Carnivore Pizza Review.

                             

I have discovered over the years I no longer like pizza, except like "un-traditional" pizzas like English muffin and flatbread but I didn't realize how over pizza I was, until right now.

This is a meat lovers pizza called a Carnivore it has pepperoni, sausage, bacon and black forest ham. I didn't really like it overall but the cheese was real nice, I rate it 2.5/5 maybe. My mom tried some and said it was great, the sauce was perfect, the crust was good and the toppings were good minus one of them being too salty and she rated it a 4.5/5.

I have a habit of picking up random children's snacks and they are usually not great or good, children's food is so bland but I decided to try these for review anyway.

They are very light in flavour and they don't taste like much but they are fine overall. I wouldn't get them again and I rate them 2.5/5.

Crave. Philly Cheesesteak Melt Review.

 

I have done so far done 4 Crave reviews (search them on my blog) and this is the philly cheesesteak melt, I have seen a few other melts I want to try as well.

The sauce was the worst part, it throws it all off but the rest was tasty. For the sauce alone though I wouldn't get it again and I rate it 3/5.

Haribo. Sube Mause Sweet Mice Gummies Review.

 

I am off and on with Haribo, some I like some I dislike. I had never had these mice but I wanted to try them for review.

These are terrible! I hated the texture and taste, they were weird and I don't know how to describe them.....it was almost like chewing soft marshmallow/gummy like ear plugs. I wouldn't get them again and I rate them 0/5.

Clover leaf. Tuna Snacks. Spicy Thai Chili Tuna Kit Review.

 

I love tuna kits, I've done a few for review (search them up on my blog) but this one is spicy Thai chili.

It is spicy indeed, it was numbing and burnt my tongue, stomach, chest and throat. Spiciness aside, I wasn't crazy about the flavour anyway. I wouldn't get it again and I rate it 2.5/5.

Sweet Shoppe. 4D. Fruit Shaped Gummies Review.

 

I'm always nervous doing these Sweet Shoppe 4D gummies, as most of them are terrible and taste and smell like flowers or chemicals or soap but I had not tried these.

The apple gummy was delicious, the strawberry gummy was not great, the grape was delicious and the pineapple gummy was awful. Overall I wouldn't get them again, they have an almost wet texture and feel to them when you touch and eat them and I rate them 3/5.

Made Thin. Dark Chocolate with Almonds Bark Review.

 

I don't know why I thought I'd like these as I don't like dark chocolate. As expected I hated this, it tastes earthy, chalky and weird to me. You could try them out if you're new to dark chocolate or enjoy dark chocolate but it's not for me and I wouldn't get it again, I rate it 0/5.

Korner Kitchen. Strawberries and Cream Cheese French Toast Review.

 

The server told me this was an amazing dish, she went into deep story about how it reminded her of her grandmother and it was her favourite dish of the menu, she went on and on raving about it and said she was happy for me to try it out.

It is gorgeous, as you can tell by the photo and she told me to smell it, which was also lovely. I adored the french toast, minus the crust that tasted off to me but it was amazing otherwise. I put whipped cream on top but I passed on the syrup, it would've been too sweet for me then. When I really enjoy a food I dance in my seat and best believe I did that this time. I want to order this each time I go now and I rate it 4.5/5.

I went two years later, to get the French toast again. The woman was there again to rave about the French toast. They changed the bread and this one had tiny seed like things on the crust, the bread was awful to me, it completely ruined their French toast for me. I didn't even finish it but I ate most of it, it was 16 dollars and not worth a penny, I have to say the toppings were good but they couldn't save it. I'm so tired of bad French toast and I'm likely never eating it again, here or elsewhere. I rate their French toast 1/5.

PC Chef. Korean Style Gochujang Chicken Meal Kit Review.

 

This was my first time doing a PC meal kit or a meal kit of any kind. The kit cost 8 dollars and states it's a one pan meal for two people that should take 15 minutes. The box comes with all your needed ingredients minus oil.

The recipe was very easy to follow and didn't take more than 10/15 minutes, there was no prep just opening the packages of produce and warming oil.

I don't believe it's enough to feed 2 people unless you want small servings as shown above. I think it would feed 1 person fairly. 

The dish was really good, spicy indeed but really good. I cannot believe how easy it was to put together, most recipes take 20+ minutes and tiresome prep and I hate that about cooking but this was great for me. I don't think I'd get this one again unless I'm craving it but they have an array of other meal kits I want to try. Overall this was a good experience and I'd eat it again if offered, I rate it 4/5.

Irresistibles. Chicken, Bacon and Onion Flatbread Pizza Review.

 

So far this is my favourite frozen pizza of all time, it was only 3 bucks too which is great for a nice light meal or snack. The chicken and cream sauce were my favourite parts. I'd get it again for sure and I rate it 4.5/5.

Gummy Zone. Gummy Bears Review.

 

I have reviewed a few other items from this brand (search them on my blog) and this time we are doing the basic gummy bears.

The red and white are good but the yellow and green i didn't like. They taste and smell like cheap alcohol like peach Sour Puss and sadness. I wouldn't get them again and I rate them 2.5/5.
