Tropical Delight. Mango Nectar Review.

 

I have never had this brand before but I enjoy mango nectar so I thought I'd try it for review, also as I got this brand by mistake when ordering take out.

This one falls flat, it feels too thin and the mango flavour is more muted than I'd like, it doesn't have the usual texture of mango nectar. Overall not a bad drink but I wouldn't buy it again but drink it if offered and I rate it 3.5/5.

Burrito Boyz. Chicken Burrito and Churros Review.

This is my first time ordering from here and I'll say I was very happy, though I will say their menu states Tropic Splash mango juice but I received Tropical Delight, which is a different brand and not as good but I will be making a review of the juice.

For my chicken burrito I got rice, tex mex cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn and burrito sauce. I did not enjoy the rice so next time I'll go without it but the rest was delicious. This is probably my favourite burrito so far, the portion was thick and filling I'm impressed, I would absolutely buy it and eat it again and I rate it 4.5/5. I also got churros and they were pretty good but I always feel fast food churros are a bit tough in texture, I don't think I'd buy them again but eat them if offered and I rate them 3.5/5. Overall I had a great burrito experience and would order from them again in the future as my current go to place.

Toad-Ally Snax. Hanky Panky Review.

 

I've heard of this snack for many years but I never tried it. This is Hanky Panky, it's chocolate drizzled caramel corn with peanuts.

Delicious, every aspect is delicious, the caramel corn, the chocolate and the peanuts but there's barely any peanuts which is fine but this is one of my favourite chocolatey snacks of all time. I would absolutely buy it and eat it again and I rate it 4.5/5.

Bonfire. Grandma Droniak Merch. Product and Website Review.

 

I've a fan of internet sensation Grandma Droniak, she is wonderful and makes great content. She sells merch through Bonfire, so I wanted to do a review.

I was not sure if I could afford anything from her collection but this turned out to be cheaper than I imagined, so I'm glad I picked up something of hers before they are gone. This is the item:

This is $28.49USD or $38.94CAD. I am not happy that there's not much colour selection and that the colours of the product photos do not match the little swatches other than the white, I'm also not happy she was wearing a pink one but they do not sell a pink one.

The total is $40.48USD or $55.33CAD and the shipping was estimated between the next 3-5 weeks as I made the purchase today July 7th 2025.

Today is now July 21st 2025 and I will show you what I received:

It smells like vinegar and weird which is not great but when washed it's be fine. I'm normally a unisex medium but I should've sized down to the small, it's a lot bigger than I imagined but it's not too bad looking anyway.

Overall I'm happy with the product and I give it a 4/5 and the shopping was easy and shipping was fast so I give the experience a 5/5.

Booster Juice. Pomegranate Punch Smoothie Review.

I've done quite a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the pomegranate punch.

It's just pomegranate I couldn't taste anything else, other than a little creamy flavour but it's boring, I didn't really like this one. I would not buy it or drink it again and I rate it 2.5/5.

Booster Juice. Canadian Colada Smoothie Review.

 

I've done quite a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the Canadian Colada.

It's like a pina colada without the alcohol of course and if it was more boring and lacked good coconut flavour. There's nothing to write home about this, I barely liked it. I would not buy it or drink it again and I rate it 3/5.

President's Choice. Coconut Cream Pie Review.

 

I've done many reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the coconut cream pie. They discontinued the McCain one which was my favourite, so I had to try this one for review. Each year for my birthday I would get a coconut cream pie, hence the candle in the photo haha, yesterday was my birthday I turned 32.

It was not that good to be honest, too much cream on it, the coconut was mild but the crust was really nice, overall a sad coconut cream pie. I would not buy it or eat it again and I rate it 3/5.

Booster Juice. Strawberry Storm Smoothie Review.

 

I've done a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the strawberry storm.

This sucked so bad, it was like someone soaked cranberries in water then strained the berries, used that water to mix with vanilla yogurt and that was it, it was barely a flavour and wasn't good at all, I didn't taste a single other thing in this. This is their worst smoothie so far, I would not buy or drink it again and I rate it 1.5/5.

Cherry Kitten. Clothing and Website Review 4.

 

I've done 3 other reviews from this website (search them on my blog) and today I'm doing another review. I had placed an order the day before, my 3rd review for my birthday I purchased those items myself but today's items were a birthday gift to me, so I decided to make another purchase right away. I have to admit I am not running out of items to purchase but I find less and less items that I would like to purchase, mind you I've done a total of 4 reviews for a total of 12 items. I do not scroll their website much to find something to call to me as it's overwhelming but I found each of these items through ads, other than the free gift I once got. 

Today I didn't purchase the 3 baby tees for $50USD as I usually do, instead I bought one baby tee and one cami, I am new to their camis but I will let you know how it goes. I wanted to note the product pages are in CAD my currency but the cart is in USD.

These are the items I picked:

I followed the size chart for the cami as I was unsure since I had only ever purchased baby tees. I am still an XL and I just wanted to make sure before I purchase.

Here is my cart:

I made my purchase today July 1st 2025. My cart was $42.76USD or $60.04CAD. I had a coupon code for 30% my order, I was unable to use any promo codes on the previous purchases as the baby tees are already on promotion at the 3 for $50USD. I only had one baby tee and and a cami in my cart so even if they were on sale they were not on promotion and I was able to use my code. 

Today is now July 14th 2025 and this what received:

The first top I love the print and fit, it's so cute bur I  didn't love getting the white but it pops and makes the print look great.  I'm glad I got it in the XL as it fits really well and I rate it 4.5/5.

The second top I love so much, one of the nicest tops I own it's beautiful, soft and fits very flattering, I'm again glad I got the XL, I rate it 5/5.

I always love shopping their website I rate it 5/5. I have not seen any ads for more shirts that caught my eye, so this my final review if and when I make another purchase.

Palm Bay. Rainbow Twist Vodka Review.

 

I drank Palm Bay in my younger years, this was my first one in a long time. I tried the rainbow twist, which is watermelon, cherry and blue raspberry.

I really enjoyed this drink, I wasn't sure going into it as it's a sparkling beverage but it doesn't sparkle in a bad way and it tastes like candy. I would absolutely buy this again and I rate it a 4/5.

Note: I'm posting this July 11th 2025 and at this time I am not drinking alcohol, I haven't for a while but I will be July 17th, this review I did prior.

Burger Factory. Poutine, Burger and Chicken Tenders Review.

 

This was my first time trying this restaurant, I was told that their burgers were not good but I had to try it myself of course.

The poutine was great, I enjoyed the fries, the cheese curds and it had a really nice gravy, though a little too sweet but it was like fair food and I love that. Yes the fries were floppy but when eaten hot it's lovely, though near the end it was almost cold and it wasn't good for my stomach and tasted not good anymore but rating it hot I give it a 4.5/5.

Let me explain why there is only ketchup on this burger. I ordered it with someone else and the burgers were 2 for 1 but you had to choose the same toppings for both burgers, the person I ordered with only eats their burgers with ketchup but I added my own toppings at home. I didn't get a photo with the toppings on, sorry but I added lettuce and pickles; typically I'd also add mayo and tomatoes but I didn't this time. 

The burger was falling apart just opening it for the picture, as you can see above where there's a chunk of burger on the top bun, the burger itself was also in chunks, it had the integrity of my ex haha. This was not a nice burger, it was burnt tasting, crispy, broken, flavourless and dry. The bun did some lifting but my toppings did the rest of the work. The burger on it's own was a 2/5, with the bun 2.5/5 and with my toppings 3/5. So the person who told me about their burgers was correct, they are not good.

Lastly the chicken, the breading is a great texture, the meat was good but I felt the breading was oddly sweet and something about it was off. I didn't love this chicken but I've had worse so I rate it 3.5/5.

Lady Sarah. Berries and Cherries Candy Review.

 

I've done a few reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm doing the gummy berries and cherries.

I enjoyed all of them, though I will rank them from least to most favourite. Cherries the least. then the black coloured berries that I think are black current, then the red berries but I don't know what fruit they taste like. Overall I'm surprised by these gummies, most gummies these days aren't good to me but these are nice. I would buy them and eat them again and I rate them 3.5 /5, I couldn't give the a 4 as I just didn't love them.

Dairy Queen. Superman Blizzard Review.

 

I've done many reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the superman blizzard. Its ice cream dyed blue, with sprinkles and sugar cookie dough pieces.

It tastes like cotton candy which I really liked, I didn't feel any particular way about the sprinkles and the cookie dough was fine I'm just not a lover of cookie dough but there weren't many pieces so I was okay. Overall a good blizzard and I may not buy it again but I'd eat it if offered and I rate it 4/5.

Ghost. Sour Patch Kids Blue Raspberry Energy Drink Review.

 

I've posted a few reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm doing the sour patch kids blue raspberry. I have to admit, I'm late to post this review because 1. I've bought dozens of these since I first had one and 2. they are discontinuing the flavour.

Tastes just like sour patch kids, a bit sour but not bad, also tastes like a blue snack pack jello, its so nice and the more I drink it, I love it. It's liquid candy and it's so fruity. I will miss you, Ghost's greatest flavour, I rate it 5/5.

Cherry Kitten. Clothing and Website Review 3.

 

I've done two other reviews from this website (search them on my blog) and today I'm making a purchase for my birthday, gifting myself some more cool shirts.

Here are the ones I picked out:

I've lost weight but I'm still an XL, I also had to grab 3 as they are always doing the 3 for $50USD. The product pages show CAD which is my currency but the cart will be in USD. 

I think they have a lot of colours but not a lot of colours. I decided to try brown, though I rarely wear brown and unsure how it will look on me as it's been years but I wanted a top to be in a colour I don't have of theirs. They do have some other colours I have yet to choose but some of them I just don't like on myself, I also feel some of the prints don't look as nice on certain colours so when picking a colour for a top, I check out a few and pick which one I think suites it best and would look good on me but I admit I don't often go white, I love it it's just not as nice to wear, in risk of it getting dirty or stained but some of their pieces look best in white.

I made my purchase today June 30th 2025. My cart was $56.90USD or $80.27 CAD. 

Today is now July 8th 2025 and this is what I recieved:

I feel the purple one could've been sized down but the other two fit well but I will say these aren't really cropped on me like their baby tees used to be, that might be my body; as that's changed over the months or more.

I still love the purple one, it's cute and it doesn't actually fit too bad just a bit baggier than I'm used to, I rate it a 4/5.

The brown one fits nice, it's funny and despite not being that cropped anymore, I'm happy with it, I rate it a 4.5/5.

Lastly the black one, it fits well, feels well and it's cheeky. This one is my favourite of the order, I rate it a 5/5. 

Overall a good purchase and I rate the products a 4.5/5 and the shopping experience a 5/5, as it's always fun to shop with them and it arrived very quickly. I actually have another purchase from them to review that's on the way, stay tuned.

Monster Energy. Assault Energy Drink Review.

It's cola with a kick, I'm surprised I like it at all but it was better than I thought it would be. I don't think I'd buy it or drink it again though and I rate it 3/5

President's Choice. Loads Of Cheesy Garlic Bread Chips Review.

I've done many reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the cheesy garlic bread chips.

I hate the cheese they used, it tastes odd and not a good cheese choice (I read it's parmesan) but it otherwise tastes so much like garlic bread, I wanted to like this so bad but it was just fine. I don't think I'd buy or eat these again and I rate them 3/5.

Ghost. Peaches Energy Drink Review.

Smells and tastes delicious, like a Maynards fuzzy peach candy. I loved it I just don't love peach as a flavour like I used to. I don't know if I'd buy it again but I'd drink it if offered and I rate it 4/5.

Ghost. Warheads Sour Watermelon Energy Drink Review.

 

I've done a few reviews of this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the sour watermelon.

The smell is phenomenal and I knew just by the smell this would be amazing and it was. It tastes and smells like a sour version of the Maynards watermelon slices candy, the best watermelon drink I've ever had. I would absolutely buy it again and drink it again and I rate it a 4.5/5.

Akita. General Tao Sauce Review.

 

This is my first time having one of the sauces from this brand, today I'm trying the general tao (or general tso) sauce.

It's a lot better than the general sauce I "normally" buy from VH (theirs isn't good) and this one has spice to it which is good as the dish is typically spicy. Overall I still don't love this sauce as I have not fallen in love with any general sauce so far but it's better. There's nothing to write home about so I don't know if I'd consider buying it and eating it again and I rate it 3.5/5.

Campbell's Chunky Soup. Chicken A La King Review.

 

I've done many reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the chicken a la king. I did add rice to make a more filling meal, which worked but the rice did not add anything to the flavour of the soup. I actually thought I reviewed this one already so I added the rice before checking and before I took photos and planned to do a review. I'm pretty sure I've had this soup before but not for my blog.

It smells and tastes like warm cream, old mushrooms and diapers, the chicken itself tastes like wet hay, and cat food, this is the second worst soup I've ever had from them so far and I am shocked. I would absolutely not buy or eat this again and I rate it 1/5.
