Sensible Portions. BBQ Garden Veggie Chips Review.

I had reviewed veggie chips of this brand once before (search on my blog for sensible portions) and I thought I'd do another one.

To be honest I didn't really like the bbq flavour in this chip it's too sweet and the flavour wasn't for me, it's not even close to as good as the sour cream and onion one by this brand, I rate it 2.5/5.

Mr. Sub. Brisket Sub Review.

This is a limited time brisket sub from Mr. Sub, I thought I would try it for review while it's still on the menu.

I ordered the brisket on white bun with onions, green peppers and mayo. I liked the brisket more so on it's own than in the sandwich but it was good though overall and I'd get it again if I could (maybe minus the onions cause I don't love red onions), I rate it 3.5/5.

Update: I have failed to take a photo of the sub open and show a better look at the brisket, sorry...I'm no professional haha.

Goldfish Pretzels.

I don't like the cheese Goldfish but I do like pretzels and thought I'd try these.

To be honest they aren't bad but they are awfully dry and bready, more so than the average pretzel, I'm not sure I'd get them again, they don't beat other brands; I rate them 3/5.

Edit: I realized now they are pretzel CRACKERS, dumb of myself not to notice that now.

Apple 2nd Generation Airpods Review.

I got the 2nd generation Apple airpods and this is my review.

I was unable to connect them to my Windows 10 computer despite step by step instruction I found online (though you may have better luck with it, I don't need them for my pc really so it doesn't affect me much.)

BUT I was able to connect them to my Iphone with ease. To connect the airpods to the Iphone: 1. Turn on bluetooth on your Iphone 2. open the case, 3. go to the home screen. 4. open the case (with your airpods inside) 5. hold the case next to your iphone and a setup window appears on your Iphone 6. Tap Connect. (You can also follow these steps to check battery life of the case and the airpods themselves.)

You can go into settings on your Iphone, then go into bluetooth, click the little i icon besides your airpods and there you have the ability to pick what double tapping each airpod does.

I find they fit in the ear really well and they are exactly what I need for my ears as my ears are picky about headphones/earbuds. They feel well weighted compared to the corded earbuds from Apple and you can really tell you're wearing them.

The audio quality is great and works well with Spotify or Siri. You can use Siri as you normally would and you can use your Iphone to control music volume.

For those who don't know you put these in the case to wirelessly charge them BUT you have to plug in the case to charge it. The airpods take 30 minutes to completely charge from dead. The charging case and dead airpods take two hours to fully charge.

One cool feature you can actually track the location of your airpods by connecting it through the icloud website or through the "find Iphone" app.

Overall, I am very happy with them and they will be great for on the run or while moving as to not snag any annoying cords.

Update: I have found they are always charging when in the case and that's a stupid feature, they should only charge when dead, it's not good for the battery in the long run.

Canon Powershot ELPH 180 Review.

This is a review for the Canon Powershot ELPH 180 digital camera.

I was bothered this camera didn't come with an SD card so I had to purchase one on my own.

Upon getting the SD card I tried out taking photos in the house, I though found the quality to be pretty bad in any lighting that wasn't natural.

First here is a photo in very minimal dark lighting (early morning):

Here is a photo I took in less than natural lighting (day/evening):

Then I took a photo in some more natural lighting and the quality turned out a lot nicer (sorry it's not as crisp as it could be, my hands shake):

I then wanted to see what a photo would look like close up, so I took a photo of my eyes:

Lastly here is a photo with the flash on (I don't recommend pointing it at yourself LOL!):

The quality here was really good, it got a lot of close up detail and even showed off imperfections that most cameras do not.

I wasn't thrilled with this compared to my current photo taking device BUT I thought I'll wait and see how my photos turn out outdoors.

These photos blew me away, the quality outdoors with this camera surpassed my expectations and my initial thoughts on this camera:

Again I apologize if any aren't as crisp as they should be, my hands shake a lot when I raise them to take a photo but that's of course not in relation to the camera and how well it works. I adore this last set of photos and I am very happy with my camera for photos.

Now moving onto video and video quality.

Lastly here in the quality outdoors:

The only downsides to this camera is how small the screen is, the not so great video quality in darker lighting, the rather bad audio and how it performs in unnatural lighting in both video/photo form. I overall recommend this little digital camera for photos and video in natural/white lighting, I rate it a 4/5.

Update: I have charged it for the first time and it charges real fast, I'm talking like 1-3 hours, I didn't time it but this is a guess, I was expecting many hours or overnight as some things take to charge. I'm impressed and happy with this.

Mott's Fruitsations. Pear Apple Sauce Review.

This is a pear flavoured apple sauce and it had a bit of pear but the apple is still prominent. Overall it's pretty good but I don't know if I'd get it again as I prefer the apple, I rate it 3/5.

Meiji. Yan Yan Review.

I didn't love the cracker sticks but they were alright, the strawberry cream was good though but definitely was artificial tasting. Overall I wasn't thrilled but it was cool to try for review and the sticks were so cute though, I rate them 3/5 but I didn't wanna say 3 nor 2.5.
