Grama's Kitchen. Stuffed Pork Tenderloin and Potato Bacon Soup Review.

So they had this stuffed pork tenderloin on special when we went in :D. Its a pork tenderloin stuffed with a sage stuffing and covered in a mushroom white wine sauce gravy..as they call it haha. The stuffing was EVERYTHING! I also loved the gravy!! You should know me by now that I loveee my gravy hahaha. I thought the pork itself was good but if not in the gravy, it was kinda dry...I felt it tasted better as a leftover, I rate it 3.5/5 I wanted to say 4 but meat dryness did it in for me.

I also had the potato with bacon soup, it was different than my favourite potato bacon soup from Timmies, this was just a cream soup, no chunks of potato and was thin, it needed more bacon but I really did enjoy it, 3/5. I felt it was just good for what it was haha, idk.

My First Time Having Sushi. California Roll Review.

So I had visted Farmboy and they had a sushi counter. I was contemplating some but I had not yet ever tried any, sushi made me nervous. I stood there unsure if I should spend an arm and a leg on sushi, just in case I really hated it. At that moment when I said aloud my predicament, a woman came over with a tray of samples! Yay! I decided to go something "simple" and try a California roll. My little brother likes cucumber rolls but decided to try something with a spicy sauce. So I was quick to eat it, something about small pieces I was like oh how exciting lol. I thought it was alright haha I mean not the greatest thing I've eaten but I would eat it again if it was the only thing I could have haha, or if the other options I didnt care for. I overall wanted to eat more sushi than before...which was none haha because if I ever met my hero, I know he loves sushi and I dont wanna be that one weird person in the group not having any...LOL lame I know. I rate it 3/5. I didnt wanna say 2.5 but it was just okay haha, I did like the crab or imitation crab they used in it haha, I heard they can use either of the Cali roll but I dont know the difference as I have only had imitation crab before and not any of the real stuff haha.

Farm Boy Corn Dog Review.

So Farmboy had their own version of a "pogo" which is a corn dog obviously haha. I thought the hotdog was an interesting less hot dog looking hot dog until half way through haha. As you can see in the photo the hotdog didnt look like a hotdog but it tasted GOOD I think I prefer these over the actual Pogos because these have thinner breading and I prefer that :D, I just feel these are best eaten ASAP haha, otherwise the breading does get a little soft 4/5.

Farm Boy Vegetable Spring Rolls Review.

So I went to FarmBoy for the first time recently, it's a grocery store...but with all the bells and whistles haha it was so fun, I almost cried. ANYWAY haha! I decided to try their vegetable spring rolls. I feel they tasted better the following day or two than the day I got them, they were kinda lackluster but as the time went on, I really did like them they were good! I rate them 3.5/5.

Harvey's Cinnamon Donuts Review.

Okay okay okay okay!!!! Harvey's cinnamon donuts 2.99 for 8 legit for 4 for 1.99 a dollar for 4 more YES of course hahaha. I've had them twice since this review hahahaha! I loveeee them!! They taste like funnel cake and the cinnamon is great, they come hot and fried in front of you. LEGIT I fucking love these hahahaha, I cry almost when I eat them. I dont need love, I got donuts hahaha. 5/5.

Goetze's Candy. Cow Tales Review.

I had been dying for the Caramel Creams (bulls eyes) but they no longer sell them here, I went into this specialty candy store to pick up these cow tails which are made by the same brand.

I first tried out the Chocolate cow tale: I felt it was more chocolately than I wanted but it was still pretty good 3/5.

Then I tried out the Strawberry cow tale: It was alright, the smell was better than the taste. It was certainly an interesting flavour. I dont know how much I liked the cream centre with the strawberry I didnt feel it went that well together 2.5/5.

Lastly I tried out the Vanilla cow tale: I was told online it was the same as the Bulls eye but elongated...IDK haha I loved them though, well not as much as I wanted...I was under the assumption these cow tales were sweeter and creamier with more milk than the bulls eyes, but Im not sure haha. I feel the texture throws me off and makes me unsure haha I miss the bulls eyes texture but the flavour is very similar and likely the same...I tried to message the company but no word back yet... 4/5.

Nandos Peri Peri Chicken Review.

CHEEKY NANDOS!!! :D Lol! I honestly was surprised when I went in, it was a full out restaurant haha I thought it was fast food haha boy was I mistaken LOL! We got half a chicken, 5 wings, 2 skewers, classic fries and garlic mashed potatoes. Let me break it down. 

The chicken was fantastic! Weather it was the half chicken or the skewers it was really good esp for a pricey restaurant lol. We got the chicken plain-ish but we did get garlic sauce, it was HOT haha. The skewers had a lime and something sauce, it was my fav part of the chicken besides the fact that grilled meats trigger me... :(. Besides that....I loved it. I rate the skewers 4.5/5. I rate the half chicken 4/5. I rate the sauce (sorry no photo) 3/5 I didn't love it but I did really like how it added to the chicken.

The fries were GOOOD! Exactly what I'd want from a restaurant. I could eat millions of them haha, I decided to have mine dry without ketchup and they were still great!! I rate them 4.5/5. 

Lastly the garlic mashed potatoes, wow! One of the best mashed I've had! I would get it again hands down, along with all the other items on the list lol just needs more skewers aha. I rate the mashed 3.5/5. I would give it a 4 but the serving was tiny.

Overall I did like the price but was a little high for the small servings but we will be going again!!!  

Dairy Queen Potato Skins Review.

Sooo I should've gotten a better pic, sorry haha. I decided to try these as I was blown away to hear a fast food place had potato skins (That wasn't Tim Hortons..cause I could see it there haha). I felt there was too much cheese..or should've went a better cheese. I didn't know what the sauce like stuff was under the cheese but I didn't really like it...Idk I would order this again if I was there and craving it but other than that not really...I rate it 3ish/5. I didnt wanna give it a 2.5 or a 3 haha. I loved how the potato tasted and it was piping hot :D woo!

Haribo Fruity Fruit Candy Review.

This is my second Haribo product :D. These are fruity fruit gummies, fruit shaped gummies with a liquid sweet centre in each. The orange is very flavourful :3 a really good orange flavour I rate it 4/5. The green I couldn't really tell the flavour but it was strong, kinda like apple I'm not sure I rate it 3.5/5. Final red if that was the intended colour, it's not too bad probably my least fav lol has a very simulated cherry like flavour lol, the other two tasted less fake lol, I rate this one 2.5/5.

Bowlful. Rice Vermicelli Bowl Beef Soup Review.

WELLLL I was in a rush and grabbed this cup noodle at the dollar store haha legit cost me a dollar. It came with two or three seasoning packets and one sauce, the sauce was an ODDDDDD texture I almost threw up hahaha! It had an acquired smell to it but overall it wasn't the worst soup I've had, I wouldn't get it again as it lacked flavour...legit didn't taste like much haha and wasn't worth a dollar. I rate it 2/5.
