Crave. Creamy Cajun Alfredo with Chicken and Sausage Review.

 

I'm not crazy on this type of spiral pasta but the dish was pretty good flavour-wise and had a hint of spice. It was pretty good, creamy like the box states but not too much cajun. I'd eat it again but I think it needs more meat and I rate it 3.5/5.

Marie Callender's. Creamy White Mac Review.

 

I'm not a fan of baked mac and cheese but I shared it for a meal and I thought I'd try it for review. It was not good to me and I wouldn't eat it again but if you like baked mac and cheese it should be fine to try out for yourself and I rate it 2.5/5.

Philthy Philly's. Poutine and Puff Daddy's Review.

 

I heard this place had good poutine and I wanted to try it for review and of course I had also been eyeing desserts, these little pancakes called Puff Daddy's.

The poutine was really good, one of the best poutine I've ever had but I'm not crazy by the pub style fries in my poutine but I'd get it again and I rate it 4/5.

The cinnamon sugar puff daddy's were really nice, reminded me of fair food and it was good but a little too soft and almost soggy-like in the center, you have to eat these piping hot I'm guessing but I liked them overall and rate them 4/5.

The smores puff daddy's were even nicer than the cinnamon sugar ones, they were so rich with chocolate and the toppings of graham cracker, chocolate sauce and marshmallows was a lovely addition. I thought it was a little too chocoaltely for me but out of preference I couldn't eat as many of these as the other ones. I'd get them again and rate them 4.5/5.

Sol Source. Frosted Flakes Cereal Review.

I was nervous a dollar store cereal wouldn't taste good but I like this one. I found the flakes aren't as frosted you have to look up close but compared they are more sugary and not bad. I'd get it again if I was craving frosted flakes and I rate them 3.5/5.

Harvey's. Chicken Nuggets Review.

 

Harvey's now has chicken nuggets, before they just had strips. These were not too bad but some of them are small almost like popcorn chicken, they also are not as good as the strips. These were overall kinda sad but not too bad, I wouldn't get them again though and I rate them 3/5.

Dare. Cupid Drops Marshmallows Review.

These were a weird texture, very firm like an ear plug almost. The flavour was okay but kinda like soap but they smell divine. The more I ate them the more I hated them, I wouldn't get them again and I rate them 2/5.

Cherubin. Valentine Gummy Bears Review.

 

They don’t taste too bad at first which surprised me but they are very floral and soapy. The more I eat them though the more I hate them. They smell like some kind of plasticine or playdough. I wouldn't get them again and I rate them 1/5.

Palmer. Cuddly Cuties Chocolate Review.

 

I just did a review yesterday for this brand (search it on my blog) and today I am reviewing again their "milk chocolate". I say "milk chocolate" cause even on the bag it says milk chocolate flavoured, what does that even mean?!

I'm sad cause the bag suggested chocolate shaped animals, these are just hearts what a let down lol. Certainly tastes cheap as it is cheap, it’s not good and it's not every time I grab it, mistakes are always made at the dollar store haha. Tastes nothing like milk chocolate, I can't even describe the flavour but it's worse than a chocolate rabbit. I hate this honestly and I wouldn’t get it again and I rate it 0/5.

Palmer. Chocolate Valentine Variety Mix Review.

 

This brand is usually trash, I don't know why I keep buying it for holiday "chocolate" treats but this is a variety pack with many different flavours besides the basic "chocolate" flavour.

This bag comes with Peanut Butter, Caramel, Fudge, Double Crisp and Cookies & Creme chocolates. I will be doing a little break down of each flavour.

Fudge: tastes cheap and weird as their chocolates usually do but this was a little more rich than their regular "milk chocolate". I still hate it and I rate it 1.5/5.

Caramel: the caramel makes the bad chocolate taste good for the most part and I normally don’t like caramel but this was nice and I rate it 3.5/5.

Peanut butter: This was delicious like a chocolate drizzled peanut butter cookie. I was so surprised by this one and I rate it 4/5.

Double crisp: I normally don’t like crispy stuff in my chocolate but this was good. I again was surprised and I rate it 3.5/5.

Cookies and cream: I usually just like the Hershey’s one but this was good for a cheap chocolate. Once again I was surprised I didn't hate it and I rate it 3/5.

All of these surprised me in some way but the fudge which I knew would be bad, this brand again usually is awful but I'm glad I picked up this variety pack for review.

Joe's Tasty Travels. Sweet Potato Kettle Cooked Chips Review.

 

A nice simple sweet potato chip nothing to write home about but it's still a nice snack if you'd like a sweet potato chip. I'd consider getting them again and I rate them 3/5.

Freshii. Steak, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Burrito Review.

This breakfast burrito was rather bland and dry despite it being packed with things, they don't seem to do a sauce and I was never asked what sauce I wanted, my mistake I should've done some looking into it before ordering but I thought they'd put a sauce on it by default like most places do for wraps and burritos. Looking again at the menu listing there is not supposed to be a sauce, which is sad. The only moisture was from the tomato and maybe the egg, it certainly tasted healthy. I wouldn't get it again and I rate it 3/5.

Terry's Orange Cookie Biscuit Bar Review.

This bar wasn't too bad but I'm not even that crazy about chocolate oranges but was alright with the cookie. I wouldn't get it again but I rate it 3/5.

MadeGood. Chocolate Chip Granola Bar Review.

This bar tasted like paint and chocolate chips. I hated it to so much and I wouldn't get it again, I rate it 1/5 as the chocolate chips were fine. Funny these bars are called Made Good, more like Made Bad.

Dr. Oetker. Momenti. Spinach Thin Crust Pizza Review.

 

I saw an ad for this just after I bought it, they are always waiting and watching but I wanted to try it for review after someone else I know was buying one. I don't love pizza but I do want it from time to time.

The outer crust was over done but it tasted delicious, I honestly loved this and I first thought there was too much spinach but it was honestly fine. I would buy more of these and I'm hoping to try other flavours for review, I rate it 4.5/5.

Tres Chiles. Chicken Quesadilla, Beef Taquitos and Caramel Churros Review.

This was my first time at the restaurant and I was excited to try it for review.

First item was a quesadilla and my god it was delicious, every bite was flavourful and amazing. I want to order this again and again and again, I rate it 5/5.

Next was the beef taquitos, I'm used to the ones from 7-11 that are rolled up, these are more like tacos I guess but they weren't too bad. I found the tortillas were not fresh tasting though but I didn't dislike them, they were okay but I wouldn't get them again, I rate them 3/5.

Lastly were the caramel churros, they were nice and I don't like caramel drizzle usually but it was a good addition, I would consider getting them again and I rate them 4/5, I just wish we got more than 4.

Update: the quesadilla was only really good the first time, the few times I've gotten it after that it was just alright.

Peeps. Root Beer Float, Chocolate Pudding and Strawberry Delights Review.

I purchased these Peeps from Candy Funhouse, I can't do a review on them because I lost my order email so I'm just gunna review the products on their own.

I bought rootbeer float, chocolate pudding and strawberry delights Peeps, it cost me about 11 bucks (before shipping and tax which made it 23 bucks.)

First I tried the root beer float Peeps, they smell very strong and exactly like root beer. They don't taste too great though but not too bad, they taste like gingerbread meets cola 2.5/5.

Next I tried the chocolate pudding Peeps, they smell very strong of a whipped chocolate frosting and chocolate cake, their taste is very light but they taste like they smell and they aren't too bad 3/5.

Lastly I tried the Delights Peeps in strawberry. These are strawberry dipped in creme flavoured fudge. They smell divine and the strawberry Peep is amazing, I could do without the dipped fudge but these have been the best of the review 3.5/5.
