Dial A Dinner. Pre-Made Meals. Product and Website Review.

 

I've been following this page on Facebook and I've been discussing it with my family and friends for a while now. Each week she posts what's on her menu, so I decided to finally make an order, here are the items I chose:

I'm sharing this order with someone else and I got the cordon, they got the quesadilla, we will be splitting the parfait and I'll be sharing with others the pies so we each get one.

Here is the cart:

I placed the order today August 14th 2025 and was told delivery is on August 19th 2025.

I received a text August 15th 2025 confirming my address and she said she would be in my area about 2-3pm Tuesday.

Today is August 19th 2025 and I got a text she was on her way and she dropped the food off.

Here is what I received and my review of each item:

The quesadilla was delicious though she felt 3 minutes was too long to reheat it and found parts a bit soggy and oily, while some parts a bit dry but fantastic flavour 4.5/5. The salsa was great and was a good addition to the quesadilla 5/5. She does not like sour cream so that was not reviewed.

For the chicken I didn't love the amount of herbs on it and felt it overtook the chicken. I also felt it was a bit lacking on the amount of ham. Overall just a fine dish 3.5/5; I normally eat a breaded cordon bleu so I would've preferred that personally. Broccoli was just broccoli, it was good 4/5. Mashed potatoes were some of the best mashed potatoes I've had 4.5/5 and I did share a bite with others and they loved them aswell.

The parfait was good especially the granola, it just needs more granola and I wasn't crazy about the chocolate chips but they are cool to try, as I've never had a parfait with chocolate chips in it before; we also felt there could've been a few more strawberries 4/5.

Lastly the banana cream pies, they were so lovely, they are so banana, soft and silky 4.5/5, I just would've preferred coconut as that's typically higher for me.

To sum it up this was pretty great of an experience and we are interested in the future to purchase from Dial A Dinner again, as we are eager to try many other menu items. We have been eyeing the butter chicken and looking forward to seeing that on the menu again, as we definitely want to give it a try in the future. The shopping experience was easy, there were no issues, great communications and delivery was smooth, I rate it a 5/5 and the food portion a 4.5/5.
