Arby's. Greek and Turkey Gyros Review.

 

I saw these featured on the Youtube channel Timmy's Takeout, which inspired me to try them. I was nervous to try these but I was excited to finally get my hands on them after a while of pondering.

They of course are not authentic but both are great! They are a perfect size for me and have lots of yummy toppings, even the meats are good. Timmy mentioned the sauce was a weak tzatziki sauce but I loved it as I don't normally like tzatziki. The turkey I rate 4.5/5 and the Greek I rate 4/5 and I'd get them both again.

McCain. Deep N Delicious. Cookie Crumble Mini Cake Cup Review.

 

I'm not normally a cake person but I wanted to try these for review.

I found something funny, there is no cake in this cup haha! It's whipped cream, chocolate mousse and cookie crumble. I am not too upset as again I don't like cake BUT this is sold as a mini cake, there's no cake. The crumble is fine but the texture I didn't love, the chocolate mousse was good and so was the whipped cream. Overall a pretty good dessert but do not go into it looking for cake. I don't think I'd get them again but I'd eat it again if offered and I rate it 3.5/5.

Pillsbury. Toaster Scrambles. Egg and Cheese Toaster Pastry Review.

I love toaster strudels so when I saw these I wanted to try them for review. I got the egg and cheese flavour, they also had a sausage one.

It's AWFUL. The pastry is too thick, dry and doughy and the filling has no flavour it's just odd and even when cooked properly, it's a little cold in the middle. They are not like their regular pastry, in texture or taste, even the crust. This was terrible and I would not eat them again and I rate them 0/5.

Grama's Kitchen. Grilled Cheese Sandwich Review.

 

I've done many reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying out their grilled cheese sandwich.

This was physically kinda sad looking but the flavour was good. It didn't look and feel like a regular grilled cheese but I'd gladly eat a few and I rate it 3.5/5.

Note: this restaurant is transitioning into Grama's Kitchen. I just haven't change my reviews yet, as it does not come up when searched at this time.

Chapman's. Blueberry Cheesecake Ice Cream Review.

 

(Sorry for the bad photo, I ate it out of the box and there was barely any left by the time I took the photo haha!)

I've been eating this brand since I was a kid and I usually just stick with my favourite flavours but today I'm trying the blueberry cheesecake flavour. I have done one other review from this brand (search it on my blog).

This was kinda nice, not what I'd usually grab but wasn't a bad choice. The ice cream was good and had a light cheesecake flavour and the blueberry was a nice addition. I don't think I'd buy it but I'd eat it again and I rate it 3/5.

Mina. Butter Chicken Review.

 

This was not really butter chicken compared to other dishes flavour wise that I've had but it was delicious! I wish there was more chicken in the bag as there's only maybe 5 or 6 pieces and SO MUCH rice. I've had this once more since the review and while it wasn't as good the second time, I'd get it again and I rate it 4/5.

Grama's Kitchen. BLT Sandwich Review.

 

I've done very many reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying their BLT sandwich.

A pretty solid sandwich, nothing too fancy or to write home about but good overall. Nicely toasted bread, good toppings and fair mayo choice, I would not likely get it again unless I was in the mood but I rate it 3.5/5.

Maple Leaf. Grab N Snack Ham and Mozzarella Review.

 

I enjoy these snack box kinda snacks, I have though not tried this brand before. I have one other flavour to post for review (though I heard this is a third flavour I did not see in store here), this one is the ham, mozzarella and chocolate.

They are usually pricey but I got them on sale. Overall a pretty good snack, I'm just sad it's without crackers haha and I wish the cheese was marble. but that's out of personal taste. I pick these up on occasion since the review and I rate them 3/5.

Otis Spunkmeyer. Banana Nut Muffin Review.

 

I'm a lover of banana nut muffins, so I wanted to try this one for review. I picked it up at a convient store, so I went into it with low expectations.

It's a bit too moist but overall a great muffin! I think the flavour is better the day you buy it but the texture is nicer the next day, the next day there is much less moisture. I've gotten a few more since this review and I will continue to buy them and I rate them 4.5/5.

Made Good. Sea Salt Star Puffed Crackers Review.

 

I'm doing a few reviews of this brand, this I think is my first one. Today I'm trying star puffed crackers in sea salt flavour.

These are very bland and the texture is a bit strange, not really like a cracker. The flavour is fine and they are cute but not a pleasant eating experience. I would not eat or buy these again and I rate them 2/5.

President's Choice. Black Label. Original Salsa Review.

 

This salsa is very runny and a bit spicier than I thought (the bottle states mild but this is not for someone who needs spiceless salsa) but I like the spice. It makes an amazing dip when mixed with cream cheese but on its own not great. I wouldn't get it again unless for making dip and I rate it 3/5.

Wendy's. Caramel Apple Frosty Review.

 

This was lovely, there sadly was only a hint of apple but it was good nonetheless. I'm not normally a caramel person but this was nice, some people said it wasn't enough caramel but I thought for my taste, it was perfect. I'd note this isn't like a frosty it's more like a soft serve but it was so nice. Very silky and smooth, with a delicious vanilla flavour with great hints of caramel and apple. I'd eat it again and I rate it a 4/5.
