Monster Energy. Ultra Strawberry Dreams Energy Drink Review.

 

I've done a few reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the strawberry dreams flavour.

It's boring, it's a bit of strawberry and not as artificial as other ones I've had but it's boring like a flat strawberry ginger ale almost. I would not likely drink it or buy it again but I rate it 3/5.

Annie's. Farm Friends and Cheddar Pasta Review.

 

I've done quite a few reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the farm friends and cheddar.

It was so cute but it sucked, not a nice flavour and did not taste even an ounce of cheese. I've had worst pasta but it was not enjoyable. I would not eat or buy it again and I rate them 2/5.

M&M. Chicken Lasagna Review.

I think this is my first review of this brand, mind you I've been shopping there for most of my life haha but today I'm reviewing their chicken lasagna.

It's a solid chicken lasagna but nothing to write home about, like your typical cheap lasagna but it was not cheap haha. I would eat it again but I don't know if I'd buy it again and I rate it 3.5/5.

Red Bull. The Winter Edition. Fig Apple Review.

 

I've done a few reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the fig apple.

It's exactly fig apple and I've learned I'm not a fan of the fig and the apple is just okay. I would not drink or buy it again and I rate it 2.5/5.

Baton Rouge. Bacon Poutine Review.

 

This is my first time trying this brand, it's based off a restaurant, that I have not been to. This is bacon poutine and I'm so big into poutine, I like most kinds even fast food or the unauthentic. I don't expect much from this, it's frozen but I wanted to try it for review..

These were okay fries for frozen fries, I loved the cheese curds and the bacon was pretty good but needed more, the worst part was the gravy, it smelled and tasted sweaty. I wanted to like this but the gravy ruined it, I would eat it again if I had no other choice but I wouldn't buy it again and I rate it 2.5/5, it really isn't that bad but the gravy was rough.

Great Value. TMNT. Mega Pepperoni Pizza Review.

 

I've done quite a few reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles mega pepperoni pizza.

This pizza was pretty big and I did not have a pan for it so it just went into the oven, I have to note it would look and taste better if it was frozen when it was cooked but I don't have a big enough freezer to hold it haha.

Overall a pretty good frozen pizza and it was only 11 bucks, the crust was more like bread and this felt like a school pizza but I was not complaining. I'd buy it again and eat it again, I rate it 3.5/5. They also have 4 cheese and 4 meat options I'd also like to try.

PF Chang's. Chicken Lo Mein Review.

 

I've done two other reviews of this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the chicken lo mein.

This is the worst lo mein I have eaten, it tastes like spoiled and burnt soy sauce, just soy sauce with no flavour and it ruins the whole dish. I've ordered from take out spots this dish and it was nothing like this, I typically enjoy this. The chicken, veggies and noodles are great but the sauce was bad. I would not get it again and I rate it 1.5/5. 

This is my final review of this brand, not only did I not see anymore at the store but I find they suck, they really suck.

I Heart Boba. Strawberry Slush Review.

 

This is my first time at this bubble tea place and I ordered a strawberry slush with mango jelly. I felt it could use more sweetness; it's was rather tart but the mango jelly were great and overall a pretty good drink. I don't know if I'd get this one again but I rate it 3/5. I plan to go again to try other drinks.

PF Chang's. Chicken Pad Thai Review.

 

I did a review from this brand recently (search it on my blog) and today I'm doing the chicken Pad Thai.

Good but lacks a little flavour, it could be more saucy and something was a tad off from other ones I've had but overall good. I don't know if I'd buy or eat it again but I rate it 3.5/5.

PF Chang's. Korean Pork Review.

 

This is my first PF Chang's frozen dinner, this is Korean pork. Note: we do not have this restaurant here so I will not be reviewing their actual dishes, sorry. I bought this by accident haha, I do not like gochujang, which this dish has but I couldn't waste it and it would be good still for a review.

I did not enjoy this one, it wasn't TOO spicy but there was heat haha but the spice wasn't the issue I just do not like the flavour; this also felt like a sad dish, like gloomy food if that makes sense. I wanted to say it was not 4/5 spicy like the box said, I'd say more like a 3/5 spicy. The noodles were a bit odd, the veggies were sad but the pork was not too bad. I would not eat this again and I rate it 2/5.

Reign Energy. Cherry Limeade Energy Drink Review.

 

I've so far done one other review from this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the cherry limeade.

Tastes like a popsicle, it's exactly cherry lime and it's good but I wasn't in love with it. I'd buy it again and drink it again and I rate it 3.5/5.

Betty Crocker. Mug Cake. Double Chocolate Cake Review.

 

I'm not normally a chocolate cake person but I've grown more into them as I age haha. I thought I'd try these mug cakes, I love an easy eat haha.

It's a nice mug cake, nice chocolate cake not too dense or rich for me but the fudge topping was the best part, it was delicious; overall a good purchase and try for review. I'd buy them on sale and I plan to eat more, I still have a few and I rate it 3.,5/5.

Dr. Oetker. The Good Baker. Veggie Pizza Review.

 

I'm aiming to try all the pizzas of this brand that I can and I've done quite a few (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying The Good Baker vegetable mix. It's a different crust than their regular  vegetable pizza, as well as some toppings are different. This pizza has: zucchini, peppers, onions, olives and tomatoes.

I picked the olives off to rate it fairly. It has good toppings but I didn't like the crust, I found it dry and stiff. It was a pretty good pizza but I didn't love it. I don't know if I'd buy or eat it again but I rate it 3.5/5.

7-11. Chicken Burrito Review.

 

I've done a few reviews from this place (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying a chicken burrito.

This burrito has: a tomato tortilla, chicken strips, rice pilaf, burrito sauce, Monterey Jack cheese, red peppers, spinach, onions and basil. It was a lackluster burrito and hard to eat, so dry and needed more sauce; I also could do without the spinach. I would not buy or eat it again and I ratee it 2.5/5. 

Columbus Craft Meats. Charcuterie Board Review.

 

I got this board for 8 bucks but it retails for 23, so I thought I'd grab a few. This board contains: multigrain crackers, Italian dry salami, dark chocolate covered cranberries, castelvetrano green olives, calabrese salami and white cheddar cheese. Note I hate olives so I won't be eating them.

The crackers were nice, different to my usual cracker but was a good, I rate them 3.5/5. The dry salami was good and had a nice texture, I rate them 3.5/5. The chocolate cranberries were nicer than I thought but I'm not a lover of dark chocolate, I rate them 3/5. The second salami was a bit stiffer in texture but had a bit better flavour, I preferred this one and I rate it 4/5. I wished one of the salami was a little spicy, just out of personal preference. Lastly the cheddar cheese was cheddar cheese and nothing fancy, I rate it 3.5/5.

Overall I enjoyed and it could feed one or two people, I don't know if I'd buy 23 bucks for it but great on sale. 

Capri-Sun. Fairy Drink Review.

 

I reviewed this brand twice before (search it on my blog), now I'm trying the flavour Fairy Drink. This is the final one I have but maybe I'd find more flavours in the future to try for review.

It's again pretty good, nice and fruity; I mostly taste strawberry and apple. I don't know if I'd buy it again but I'd drink it again if offered and I rate it 3.5/5.

Capri-Sun. Mystic Dragon Drink Review.

I reviewed this brand once before (search it on my blog), now I'm trying the flavour Mystic Dragon. I have 1 other flavour to try, stay tuned.

It's pretty good, nice and fruity, it mostly tastes of apple, strawberry and a hint of banana. I don't know if I'd buy it again but I'd drink it if offered and I rate it 3.5/5.

Capri-Sun. Fun Alarm Drink Review.

 

I haven't had a Capri-Sun in a long long time, today I'm trying the flavour Fun Alarm. I have 2 other flavours to try, stay tuned.

It's got a cute graphic on the package and tastes pretty good. It has a nice fruity flavour but mostly apple and lemon. I don't know if I'd buy it again but I'd drink it if offered and I rate it 3.5/5. 

Little Caesars. Detroit Deep Dish Pizza Review.

 

I've done quite a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm doing the Detroit style deep dish pizza. I've had it once before many years ago but I didn't review it.

The texture is off-putting for me, it's so doughy yet again. I ate 3 pieces before I shared the rest. It's almost awful, I just can't enjoy it; the toppings though are good. I would not eat or buy this again and I rate it 2.5/5.

I'm aiming to try all the pizza's of this brand and I've done quite a few so far (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the spinach one.

I love this pizza as I love spinach on my pizza. I've eaten a few of these since this first purchase. I originally was going to give it a 4.5/5 but I've gotten a bit tired of it already haha, so I have to take a break from it but I rate it 4/5.

Pogo Breakfast. Maple Sausage Corn Dog Review.

 

I've done one other review of this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the maple sausage one.

Better than the other one I reviewed but not as good as their regular ones. I didn't love it, I felt the sausage was a bit odd in flavour and texture and it was a tad too sweet but I did like the batter, unlike last time. I'd eat them again if offered but I don't think I'd buy them again and I rate them 3/5.

Wendy's. Bacon Portabella Mushroom Melt Baked Potato Review.

 

I've done quite a few reviews from this restaurant and did this review once before (search it on my blog) but they improved it with slices of bacon instead of bacon crumble.

I loved the change in bacon and I enjoyed the cheese sauce a bit more but the mushrooms I could take or leave and the potato was just fine. I'd eat it again if offered but I don't think I'd buy it again and I rate it 3.5/5.

Sweet Luxe. Crystal Candy Review.

 

This is my first time trying crystal candy. I got these on sale from Showcase for 14 bucks, I ended up paying 30 bucks after fees. There are 3 flavours, banana, blue raspberry and sour cherry. 

The banana one smells and tastes like fake banana and chemicals, I'm not a fan of the texture, it's almost like chewing ice but the middle is smooth and kinda soft, almost gummy-like. I was not a fan and I rate them 2/5.

The blue raspberry one tasted better, similar to a blue Slush Puppy, not bad but again I didn't love it due to texture and flavour but it's better and I rate it 3/5.

Lastly the sour cherry, it was a little tart but not sour and it tasted like a cherry lollipop but a bit more chemical. This was better than the banana but not as good as the blue raspberry and I rate it 2.5/5. 

Overall they were not worth the price but good for review, I always like to try new things, even if they don't always work out.

Squishable. Product and Website Review 2.

 

I've done one other review of this brand (search it on my blog), I'm back to make another purchase. I bought two holiday themed squishable. Here they are:

The gingerbread man is a snacker, which is smaller than the mini but bigger than the micro they carry.

I paid a few more bucks for 1 day shipping, as I budgeted for 80 and I could afford to. I made my purchase today January 31st 2024.

It's now February 1st 2024 and my package has arrived. Last time I purchased from this company, it took 2 days from ordering to receive, this time it was even faster and I was very impressed. Here is my purchase:

The snowman feels different in size, compared to my last one but they are in fact the same height. He's really cute but I'm not in love with him, I'm facing my post-shopping blues again haha. Still a good purchase, though he looks a bit off from the photo and fluffier in person (as I find with all their products so far but I rate him 4/5.

The gingerbread man is about half the size of the snowman. He looks a bit more like the photo but still a little off and again fluffier. I really like him though I wish they made a mini version of him, I wanted something a bit bigger, I did want them all the same size but that's not happening, so I rate him 4/5. 

I'm overall happy with my purchase and I'm buying from them yet again. Though their product photo vs product is still a bit off but they have great products, their shipping is impeccable and shopping is easy, so I rate the experience 4.5/5, a bit of an improvement from my first purchase.
