Big Bite. Pepperoni, Meat Lovers and Cheese Pizzas and Garlic Bread Review.

 

This is my first time trying this restaurant. I ordered 3 pizzas (cheese, pepperoni and meat lovers) and a garlic bread.

These were delicious pizzas, good toppings and a crust I enjoyed. The cheese I rate a 4/5, the pepperoni I rate a 4.5/5 and the meat lovers a 3.5/5. The garlic bread was also delicious and soft, I regret not getting cheese but even it's own I loved it and I rate it a 4/5. Overall a great place that's my current favourite pizza place!

Stacked. Waffle Stack Review.

 

This is my first time at this restaurant and I ordered the waffle stack. It's waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage and homefries.

These waffles are maple infused and the texture isn't like any waffle I've had, it was very crispy on the edges but soft inside, I've never had a crispy waffle but it was pretty good and I should note the whipped cream tasted like hot chocolate, it was yummy! The waffle I'd consider getting again and I rate it 3.5/5, I wanted to give it a 4 but I wasn't in love with them.

The eggs were just fine, more dry than other restaurant eggs but not too bad, they certainly need salt and pepper, I'd get them again and I rate them 3/5.

The bacon was good, a really nice texture and flavour, I would get them again and I rate them 4/5.

The sausages were funny textured and taste undercooked but were cooked well and I'm not sure what kind of sausage it is. I gotta say I haven't yet found a restaurant breakfast sausage I liked. I would not want these again and I rate them 2.5/5.

Lastly the homefries were great! Soft, fluffy and tasted like chips haha, they had some crispy edges and overall a nice homefry. I'd certainly order them again and I rate them 4.5/5.

Farm Boy. Cup Of Oatmeal. Banana Nut Oatmeal Review.

 

I have done a few reviews from this place (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying out their banana nut cup oatmeal. I have 3 flavours to try, stay tuned for them.

This cup had very little banana in it but tasted nice, the nuts were fine but the oatmeal itself tasted like wet rice and the flavour was bad but the texture wasn't terrible. I couldn't eat this and I'm so disappointed in how it turned out. I would not get it again and I rate it 1/5.

Naked Noodle. Singapore Style Curry Review.

 

I've done one other review from this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the Singapore style curry.

This wasnt too bad but it wasn't for me personally and tasted too much like the last one but the noodle texture is still nice in feel and chew, which is good since I have a lot of issues with textures. I would not buy or eat this again and I rate it a 2.5/5.

7-11. Frog Water Slurpee Review.

 

I've recently done another slurpee review (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying out Frog Water.

So Frog Water is watermelon and lime. The texture is lovely as their other slurpees (spoiler: the other one I did was not this texture), the flavour is not too bad though mostly lime but it's not for me personally. I'd like to note it turns black (in the second photo) as you drink it haha and I don't know why but it's not a big deal. I would not likely get it again but I rate it 3/5.

Neale's. Sweet N Nice. Guava n Passion Fruit Ice Cream.

 

I have done one other review from this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the guava and passion fruit ice cream.

This is fresh and fruity, though the texture is a bit different to other ice cream but overall good. I don't know if I'd buy it again for what it is and the price (it was on sale 5 bucks for the pint) but I'd eat it again if offered and I rate it 3.5/5.

President's Choice. Butter Chicken Review.

 

I have done many reviews from this brand and this is my second butter chicken review (search them all on my blog) and today I'm trying the butter chicken.

It smells so much like hot dogs while it's cooking, in the last minute it smells like butter chicken sauce but up until that point it was just boiled hot dog smell HAHA! It tasted delicious, the sauce I didn't love but it was really good and the chicken was nice, I never think they give you enough chicken in butter chicken kits or dishes but it was good. I'd get it again and I rate it 4/5.

7-11. Cactus Catapult Slurpee Review.

 

I was excited to try this slurpee, it's said to be orange and pineapple and in the above photo it looks amazing BUT after 3-4 sips it completed dried up and had no flavour and wouldn't even melt to be drinkable, the texture was unlike any slurpee I've had.

I can say what little flavour I tasted, it was clementine, not orange and no pineapple. It was not too bad but boring overall and I'm not happy about my experience. I luckily got it for free with my rewards card but I wouldn't get it again and I rate it 1/5.

Dr. Oetker. Ristorante. Pollo Pizza Review.

 

I'm on the hunt to try all the pizzas from this brand, I've done quite a few so far (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the pollo pizza.

I loved this pizza! Each topping was good, even the chicken which I normally don't like as most brands and even restaurants do bad chicken. I'd get it again for sure and I rate it 4.5/5.

7-11. Cheeseburger Review.

 

711 now has cheeseburgers, so I got one to try for review. They also have a bacon one that costs a little more but today I just got the regular one.

I added ketchup to this (both sides), I normally would add many other toppings but I just kept it simple today. This burger doesn't look OR taste like beef as the package states, it's more like pork in look, taste and texture. The cheese and bun are fine and It's not THAT BAD but it's not that good of a burger,. My stomach didn't like it and I wouldn't buy or eat it again and I rate it 2.5/5. 

Note: the American 711 cheeseburger looks different, I wish we got that one here instead, theirs looks beef and they even have an option for two patties.

Chupa Chups. Strawberries N Cream Sparkling Drink Review.

 

This drink had barely any sparkle, which is great for me as I hate sparkling drinks but this was delicious! It was very strawberries and cream indeed, it was so pleasant of a flavour and I rate it 4/5.

Tim Hortons. Gingerbread Chocolate Dream Donut Review.

 

I've done so many reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the Gingerbread dream donut.

This is a delicious donut, so cozy and festive! I just hate the texture of the filling, it's a personal issue I got with it but the filling tastes good, it's a gingerbready chocolate filling. The donut and toppings were my favourite part, especially the little gingerbread man on top, it was a little firm but soft in texture, unlike most gingerbread men I've had which are often more crunchy. Overall I really liked this donut and if you like filled donuts you'd probably like this more than I did but I still rate it a 4/5.

A&W. Crinkle Cut Poutine Review.

 

I've done quite a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the crinkle cut poutine.

I finally got my hands on this, as the delivery apps didn't have this before, even if they had it on their in store menu. It tasted pretty good, all aspects were good but they skimped on the cheese AND the gravy so bad. I would consider getting it again and order an extra gravy but I rate it 3.5/5.

A&W. Frozen Root Beer Review.

 

I've done quite a few reviews of this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the frozen root beer.

It's just a root beer slushie, nothing to write home about. I don't think I'd get it again, as I prefer sweet and fruity slushies. I'd drink it again if offered but it was nothing crazy, you're better off with a regular root beer and I rate it 3/5.

Fresh Burrito. Chicken Quesadilla Review.

This is my first time having food from this restaurant, I got a chicken quesadilla.

My quesadilla had: chicken, cheese, tomatoes, cilantro, corn, green peppers and a burrito sauce. This quesadilla was delicious, they skimped on the chicken and veggies but it was so tasty. I think it could've been toasted longer but otherwise good! The burrito sauce was medium spice and delicious! I rate the sauce 4/5 and the quesadilla also a 4/5.

Philthy Philly's. Chipotle Mayo Cauliflower Bites Review.

 

I've done a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying their cauliflower bites with chipotle mayo.

This is my first time trying any cauliflower bites and honestly I'm not happy. The breading is pretty good but the cauliflower has the taste and texture of fishless fish, it's not good for me with a texture issue haha and I would NOT get them again and I rate them 1.5/5. The chipotle mayo was good but nothing amazing, though had a nice kick of spice and that I would eat it again and I rate it 3.5/5.

Note: the cauliflower bites cost 9 dollars, what a rip off both for how bad it went but also for the serving size for cauliflower.

A&W. Chicken Sandwich Review.

I've done quite a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying their chicken sandwich.

I can admit it took me so long to try this as I'm not keen on any chicken sandwiches really (minus the first time I had a Popeyes sandwich haha that was delicious but only the first time haha). So I enjoyed the toppings and bun more than the chicken, it had a boring taste but wasn't too bad overall flavourwise. I don't think I'd get it again and I rate it 3/5.

Maynards. Tropical Swedish Berries Review.

 

I like regular Swedish berries so I wanted to try these for review. I've done Swedish fish (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the tropical berries.

All of them were rough, there was not a single good flavour; they tasted like flowery wax meets soap. I wouldn't eat them again and I rate them 1.5/5 as the texture  and chew was still fine and I've had much worse candy but not good still.

President's Choice. Cherry Tomato and Arugula Flatbread Review.

I've done a few flatbread reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the tomato and arugula flatbread.

A pretty good flatbread and I enjoyed the toppings but I wasn't keen on the crust as I usually think the crust is a bit too sweet. I'd eat it again if offered and buy it again if I really wanted it and I rate it 3.5/5. 

Neale's. Sweet N Nice. Pineapple and Coconut Ice Cream Review.

 

This ice cream has very fresh of a flavour and the texture is a bit different to other ice cream and tastes like a pina colada, which I'm not a fan of these days but it's been nice to try. It's overall pretty tasty but I didn't love the pineapple pieces texture wise but flavour was good. It's a bit pricey at 6 bucks for a little pint. I'm not sure if I would buy it again but I'd eat it again if offered and I rate it 3/5.

Wendy's. Bacon, Egg and Cheese Croissant and Potato Wedges Review.

 

I was happy to finally try their breakfast, I normally miss it every morning haha. I've done quite a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying their croissant bacon breakfast sandwich and potato wedges.

This is a really nice breakfast sandwich, it's a good size and has delicious toppings and a really nice croissant. I think I'd like to add lettuce and tomato to mine haha. I grabbed 2 and I would get them again and I rate them 4/5. 

The wedges are pretty good but nothing to write home about and a little dry. I've had both worse and better wedges from other places. I'd consider getting them again and I rate them 3/5.

A&W. Berry Acai Smoothie Review.

 

I've done quite a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the berry acai smoothie.

This is actually a slushie, it's just ice and fruit puree, there is no milk or even yogurt or some type of dairy substitute, it's almost like a snow cone haha. Overall not too bad in flavour, the acai and berry is solid but I didn't love it and I'd not likely buy it again but I'd drink it if offered and I rate it 3/5.

Crush Pineapple Drink Review.

 I have never tried this kind of Crush but I wanted to for review, as I enjoy pineapple usually and I don't think this is a popular flavour around here, if they even have it; as I got this I believe at a wholesaler.

Oddly this tastes like a weird cream soda, not it's own pop and the pineapple flavour is interesting to say the least. My mind is playing with me I guess, Im not used to a flavour other than cream soda (as I dont like grape but I've had it once before). I didn't really like it though, it was not for me. I would not drink it again and I rate it 2.5/5.

Arby's. Greek and Turkey Gyros Review.

 

I saw these featured on the Youtube channel Timmy's Takeout, which inspired me to try them. I was nervous to try these but I was excited to finally get my hands on them after a while of pondering.

They of course are not authentic but both are great! They are a perfect size for me and have lots of yummy toppings, even the meats are good. Timmy mentioned the sauce was a weak tzatziki sauce but I loved it as I don't normally like tzatziki. The turkey I rate 4.5/5 and the Greek I rate 4/5 and I'd get them both again.

McCain. Deep N Delicious. Cookie Crumble Mini Cake Cup Review.

 

I'm not normally a cake person but I wanted to try these for review.

I found something funny, there is no cake in this cup haha! It's whipped cream, chocolate mousse and cookie crumble. I am not too upset as again I don't like cake BUT this is sold as a mini cake, there's no cake. The crumble is fine but the texture I didn't love, the chocolate mousse was good and so was the whipped cream. Overall a pretty good dessert but do not go into it looking for cake. I don't think I'd get them again but I'd eat it again if offered and I rate it 3.5/5.
