Dairy Queen. Honey BBQ Chicken Tenders Review.

 

I've done many reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the honey BBQ chicken tenders, they are for a limited time so I wanted to grab them quick for review.

The sauce is nice but I've had better and I rate it 3.5/5. The chicken was fine, nothing to write home about but I think the breading didn't go with the sauce and I rate it overall 3/5.

Pierogi House. Pierogi, Schnitzel, Kielbasa and Peach Drink Review.

 

This is my first time at this place, it's a restaurant that specializes in pierogis and other polish foods.

I got the feast, it comes with pierogis, kielbasa, schnitzel and a side (I got the pickles), I also got a peach drink. 

The pierogis were delicious, I chose bacon and gouda, these are some of the nicest ones I've ever had and I rate them 4.5/5. 

The kielbasa was also delicious, though I prefer it cooked a a little longer out of personal preference but I loved them nonetheless and I rate them 4/5. 

The schnitzel was really good though a little tougher than I usually like but that's again personal preference and I rate them 4/5. 

The pickles were tangy, very fresh and yummy, a good side and I rate them 3.5/5 as I typically prefer bread n butter pickles or overall sweeter pickles.

Lastly the peach drink is a lot like an apple cider but I was not a fan of the molasses, the drink wasn't for me but not awful and I rate it 2.5/5.

The staff was so friendly, making us feel welcome and checked in with us while we ate and after we ate, to see how we enjoyed the food, it was wonderful! I would go again for sure!

Uncle Tetsu's. Strawberry Angel Hat Review.

 

I have done one other review from this shop (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the angel hat. This is also called a Zuccotto and this one is strawberry flavour. 

It's similar to their regular cheesecake but this is smoother to slice, you could even use a fork and it has a nice flavour to it. It's soft but when eaten it's rich and creamy, the flavour is light. I don't know if I'd buy it again as it cost 15 dollars but I'd eat it again if offered and I'd rate it 4/5. I prefer it to the regular cheesecake but I wouldn't give it a 4.5.

ChickQueen. Chicken and Fries Review.

This is my first and last review of this place, this is the review from hell.

The fries were fair, nothing to write home about and I rate them 3/5. The gravy was good, nice and savory and I rate it 4/5. The biscuit was ROCK SOLID, I was unable to bite it or break it in half so I rate it 0/5. Now for the the chicken, the drumstick was too salty but not too bad, though the thigh piece was FOUL, I barely ate it but it gave me food poisoning, it ruined my trip, I've been sick for two days now and I rate it 0/5.

I have contacted them about this but they have refused to respond. 

Harvey's. Juneberry Frozen Red Bull Review.

 

I've done 2 other frozen Red Bull reviews (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the Juneberry flavour.

It's tastes mostly like raspberry but meets other berries but it's pretty nice other than the undertone flavour of scented markers. I didn't like it or dislike it, I would drink it if offered but I wouldn't buy it and I rate it 3/5.
