Arby's. 3 Cheese and Bacon Sandwich Review.

 

I've done quite a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the 3 cheese and bacon sandwich. This sandwich doesn't typically come with lettuce but I added lettuce.

This sandwich has 3 cheese, peppercorn ranch and roast beef, with added lettuce. I'm glad I added the lettuce it helped the sandwich but overall not a great sandwich, you mostly taste ranch but not a bad ranch. I don't think I'd buy this again but I'd eat it if offered and I rate it 3/5.

Mandioca. Cheese Pops Review.

 

This is my first time trying these but I thought I'd love them as I do like cheese and who could go wrong with cheese pops.

Sadly these have almost no flavour, no bacon or bacon flavour in sight and the texture was a little odd, especially the outside; not far from the texture of gnocchi which I hate. I would not buy or eat these again and I rate them 2.5/5.

Monster Energy. Ultra Feisty Mango Drink Review.

 

I've done a few reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the ultra feisty mango.

This is not a nice drink, it's got a very fake mango flavour and I'm not a fan. I don't hate it but I would not buy or drink it again and I rate it 2.5/5.

McCraw's. Old Fashioned Taffy Review.

 

This is the original old fashioned flat taffy, I believe from 1908. I had never had it before and thought I'd try it for review.

It's a very boring taffy, with very little flavour but tasted like an old taffy for sure but each flavour was fine just light and again boring. The texture is a bit odd, overall not great in any way but it's not bad. I don't think I'd buy or it eat it again and I rate it 2.5/5. I also wanted to note it was miserable to try and get out of the paper, it was not sticky sticky as other candy but it was stuck in the paper; making it hard  to eat.

Real Fruit Bubble Tea. Papaya Slush Review.

 

I've done a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the papaya slush with mixed jelly.

It tastes almost like a persimmon but more fruity, pretty good but I didn't love it and I liked it less as I drank it but I did like the addition of the fruity jelly and it was overall not bad. I don't think I'd buy or drink it again but I rate it 3/5, I didn't like it enough by the end to give it a 3.5/5 but it did start off strong.

Halara. Clothing and Website Review.

 

I've been eyeing this brand for a few years and they are having a BOGO free sale on their buckle leggings. I thought my first purchase with them would be a dress but at this time I couldnt justify the price but I saw the leggings and thought hey why not try it for review.

Here are the two items I purchased:

I got them in a size L but Im between L and XL but I've lost weight recently and thought maybe the L would fit me better, I can only hope. If they dont end up fitting I will just hang onto them, as I may continue to lose weight. I don't actually wish to lose any weight but I have been over the last year or so. I don't know how stretchy these are and I couldn't get size help from a customer service rep, so I'm taking a gamble for the review.

I made my purchase today March 27th 2024 and their site stated 8-10 business days from shipped but I got one of these items on pre-order.

Today is now April 19thn 2024 and my items have arrived, despite the one item being on pre-order until yesterday, I'm surprised they both arrived. This is what I got:

The pink pair is a different shade on camera than in real life, my camera did not want to pick it up but they are lovely. They look great, feel great and I love the colour but I feel the belt portion a bit loose but not too bad. I rate them 4/5. I'm glad I got them in this size they fit like a glove other than the baggy portions but that's just what most clothing does to my body, you can diminish this by wearing them higher, I just don't like to cover my stomach out of personal preference.

The black pair are my favourite, they again look and feel great and this belt portion is a bit tighter and flattering to the body. I rate them 4.5/5. With these being black you can't see the baggy portion as much, again can be diminished by how you wear them. I wanted to note they have a little stretch but not much, they are figure hugging.

I had a great shopping experience and I'd consider doing business with them again, maybe a dress next time. I rate the shopping a 4.5/5. I felt the shipping was really quick and the items are just as pictured, with great quality and value for money, though I don't know if I'd buy them if they weren't on sale just personally.

Tim Hortons. Chicken Parm Flatbread Pizza Review.

 

I've done many reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the new flatbread pizza, this flavour is chicken parm.

It's a boring pizza but not a bad pizza, I feel the chicken wasn't great but I feel that way about most pizza chicken. I'd eat it if offered but I would not buy it and I rate it 3/5.

Note: I got it with a side of chipotle sauce and the sauce was delicious, their sauce isn't spicy by any means but it's a delicious and certainly helped the pizza.

Tim Hortons. Bacon Everything Flatbread Pizza Review.

 

I've done many reviews from this restaurant and one other of their pizzas (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the bacon everything pizza.

This pizza has a sauce similar to herb and garlic cream cheese, with bacon and everything seasoning. I could do without the seasoning as I don't love everything seasoning it's just meh seeds. I wasn't crazy about the sauce but it was pretty good and the bacon was nice. I think this was a solid pizza for this restaurant but I'm not sure if I'd buy it again but I'd eat it if offered and I rate it 3.5/5.

Note: I ate it with a side of chipotle sauce and I mentioned in my other review that their sauce has no spice but it's a delicious sauce and carried this pizza. 

Bob Ross Energy Drink Review.

 

I thought it was cool to see Bob Ross on an energy drink, I thought I'd try it for review. 

It's very very boring, it tastes like water with a hint of berry and a hint of blue flavour. It's the most boring energy drink I've had but it was not gross. I would not buy or drink it again and I rate it 2.5/5.

Squishable. Product and Website Review 5.

 

I've done a few reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and this is likely my final review.

This is the item I grabbed:

I wanted to grab the plague nurse and doctor but the doctor sold out, I had to search somewhere else for him and I picked him up online from Spencers, Since I purchased from Spencers it cost me $20 more for him than what I'd be spending here on their actual website, I didn't want to miss out on him so I made both purchases. I will not be doing a Spencer's review but just reviewing the plague doctor himself, as he is still an official Squishable.

I made my purchases today April 9th 2024, I paid for 3-9 day shipping on their website (and approx. two weeks for Spencer's).

Today is now April 11th 2024 and she has arrived:

She's so cute, very soft but again not quite like the photo, as all their other products but I love her.'

I rate my item 4/5 and shopping 5/5, it's always easy to shop and very fast shipping. 

Today is now April 16th 2024 and my final item has arrived:

I noticed he's got a much smaller nose than her but otherwise he's great. I rate my item 4/5.

This is likely my last Squishable review, it's been fun and I like my collection. Overall a great shopping experience that I recommend to others.

The Grove Cafe. Assorted Baked Goods Review.

 

This is my first time at this cafe, we picked up a few baked goods. Two cookies and two bars, I'm not exactly sure on the bars, what they were called as I didn't get a photo of the sign. I believe their bakery items change each day so I couldn't check a menu online to confirm each of the items.

Oatmeal cookie with maple icing, it had a phenomenal texture and even I liked the icing though I'm normally not big on maple, it was delicious and I rate it 4.5/5. 

Chocolate chip cookie, it needed more chocolate chips but overall a solid cookie I just didn't love it and I rate it 3.5/5.

Oat bar I think had chocolate or fruit but I'm not sure, lovely taste, gorgeous texture and lovely chew and I rate it 4.5/5. 

Lastly a nut bar like a brownie, with I believe almonds. it was a lovely and had a great texture and chew and I rate it 4/5.

They have delicious baked goods you can tell were made with love. Each item was so good with great textures for me knowing I have an issue with food textures often but the chocolate chip cookie was my least favourite but still good.

They also had a cute dog wall for their patio. Overall a great experience and I plan to go again soon, depending what I pick up I can do another review. This is so far my favourite cafe,, I was blown away.

Lancaster Shawarma. Butter Chicken Review.

 

I love butter chicken and I was reccomended this place, so I thought I'd try it today for review.

The rice was okay, a plain rice 3/5, the salad I wasn't keen on 2.5/5 and the butter chicken was just fine, I felt it needed more flavour and a bit more spice but the chicken itself wasn't bad 3/5. Again I was recommended this place but even they said it went downhill since they went last 4 years ago.

Tim Hortons. Red Pepper and Onion Pinwheels Review.

 

I've done many reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the pinwheels, they are bready pastry and I got both flavours, red pepper and caramelized onion.

These are rough, they taste and feel raw in the middle, which was a complaint other people also had, The camera couldn't possible show how bad this was haha. This bread was gooey, GOOEY and I have never had a bread this texture, it was vile. The flavour wasn't bad but I can't ever eat these again and I rate them 2/5.

Cherry Kitten. Clothing and Website Review.

 

I've been seeing ads for this company for years and I was always nervous to take a gamble, especially for the price of their baby tees but they are having a sale so I thought, well why not try it out now.

The sale is 3 baby tees for $50, here are the tops I picked:

In these kinda tops I'm typically a L/XL but I thought if t's supposed to baby style I'd get them in an XL. 

Here is a my cart:

The items I could look at in CAD but they in the cart as USD. My total was $49USD or $67CAD. It's steep for a gamble but I'm willing to take it for review. 

I placed the order today March 31st 2024. They state it should take 16-18 business days, so approx. 2.5 weeks. 

Today is now April 10th 2024 and my items have arrived.

I'm glad I got the XL, the L wouldn't have fit me BUT the black one fits the tightest for some reason but the other two fit a bit better, I could've sized up 1 and been okay but I do like the crop length on these ones. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. 

I would buy from them again as the products are really good quality and the shipping is fast. I rate the black top 4/5, the pink top 4.5/5 and white one 5/5. I rate the shopping experience and website a 4.5/5, as I find the items a bit pricey but better on sale;  I likely wouldn't pay full price for them personally.

Hidden Valley Ranch. Secret Sauce Review.

 

This is a very boring sauce, it barely tastes like anything, it's nothing to write home about and not a great secret haha. It's good as a last resort, like you don't want a dry burger but I would not reach for this. I would not buy or likely use this again and I rate it 2.5/5.

Reign Storm. Grape Energy Drink Review.

 

This is my first plant based energy drink, I picked up 4 flavours to try for review and today's flavour is harvest grape.

It's smooth and has a nice fruit flavour but a bit of a grape Tums taste. I don't know if I'd buy it again but I'd drink it again if offered and I rate it 3/5.

Dairy Queen. Confetti Cake Dipped Ice Cream Review.

 

I've done quite a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the confetti cake dipped cone.

This sucked so bad, the confetti cake flavour was sickly sweet and tasted very fake, there was nothing pleasant about it and I'm glad I only got a tiny cone. I would absolutely not buy or eat this again and I rate it 2/5.

Qdoba. Quesabirria Quesadilla and Churro Bites Review.

 

This was my first time at this restaurant. I got the quesabirria quesadilla and it was nice, I liked the filling and flavour, I just felt the meat was a bit too damp and kinda boring in flavour; I also felt the quesadilla could've been toasted a bit more. I wouldn't likely get it again but I rate it 3.5/5.

I then got churro bites and they looked and tasted over-done, they were not great but not bad. I don't think I'd buy or eat them again and I rate them 3/5.

I wanted to note the quesadilla was 20 bucks, neither of these items were worth the price. I don't know if I'll be going there again but I might.

P'tit Quebec. 4 Cheese Pasta Sauce Review.

 

This was a very boring sauce, you couldn't taste the 4 cheese. You gotta season it up but I wanted my first taste to be plain for the review. It's not the worst sauce I've had but it's good for those that like a more toned back or almost plain pasta; as I do know some people prefer that. You could add whatever seasoning you like, I'd like Italian, Cajun, herb and garlic etc. I would not likely buy it again or eat it again and I rate it 2.5/5.

Note: I accidentally wrote 3 cheese and posted it was 3 cheese, it was actually 4 haha, nonetheless there was not a single cheese in sight.
