Second Attempt. Pizza Pizza. Steak Pizzadilla Review.

So if you search my blog posts for Pizza Pizza, you will find my first attempt at the steak pizzadilla. I decided to go to another location and grab one :). It looks a lot better than the other one but it still doesnt look like the photo on the menu smh....oh well haha. I thought this couldve been toasted longer...the cheese wasnt melty at all lmao and OMG it attacked my stomach sooo bad...legit not even 30 min later and I was rushing to the stomach HATED it. I rate it 3/5, even though the second one looked more like the photo, it wasnt cooked enough idk. I will not be trying it again hahaha! If anything I will go back to the first location to order it if I want it but I will not be doing more for review unless I magically find a location that does what the photo shows LMAO.

Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe.

Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cookies by Easy, no-fuss and quick!

  • 1 box (18.25 oz) strawberry cake mix, like Duncan Hines
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable/canola oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 and 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350F. Line large baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mat. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix and baking powder. Set aside. In a smaller bowl, whisk together the eggs, oil, and vanilla by hand. Add the egg mixture to the cake mixture and stir to form a dough- stir vigorously until all of the pockets of dry cake mix are gone. Gently mix in the chocolate chips.
Drop rounded balls of dough, about 2 Tablespoons each, onto prepared baking sheet. Stick a few more chocolate chips on top of the cookie dough balls if you want them for looks, if desired. Make sure the balls of dough are taller than they are wide. See here for more details.
Bake for 10 minutes – do not let the cookies get brown. Allow to cool on baking sheet for 3 minutes; they will be very soft at first. As they cool, the tops may settle down; press them down gently with your fingers if they are not sinking much. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.

Word Of The Day #35.

Facetious [fa·ce·tious] adj. Treating serious issues with deliberately inappropriate humor; flippant.

Image result for dreaming

You make my heart race, my heart skip a beat and my heart stop.

You make time race, time skip and time stop.
You are my favourite hello and my hardest chance I didn't take.
You make my breathing race, my breathing skip and my breathing stop.
You are my everything yet my nothing, all at the same time.

You are my saving grace but my toughest strive.
You are my warmest smile but my coldest embrace.
You are the wind beneath my wings, the wind in my hair and the cold chilling wind across my skin.
You are my words I want to shout but my words I want to keep in.
You are my everything yet my nothing, all at the same time.

You're my greatest dream but my harshest reality.

Honey Pepper. Black Pepper Beef Review.

So the last time I went to Honey Pepper, I got the honey pepper beef. I thought this time I would try the black pepper beef. The meat was good and the sauce was spicy. Having it reheated though, was awful and the after taste of it wasn't good either. I liked the chicken fried rice and the actual beef but the sauce wasn't all that good. I rate it 2.5/5. I would give it a 2 but the beef was still so good and so was the rice. When I go again to Honey Pepper, I will ONLY be getting the honey pepper beef, as it was so delicious even with leftovers...sigh :$, I'm craving it right now actually lmao.

Krispy Kreme Donuts & Kruffin Review.

I hadn't had Krispy Kreme in a long time. I had the original glazed and I rate it 3/5, it wasn't as good as they used to be or as I remember had an interesting taste to it and it was just okay. The strawberry filled was rated 4.5/5, timmies has more filling but KK has better filling. Last was the Kuffin rated 4.8/5, the icing was a bit much ontop and it tasted more cakey than muffiny.

I'm Missing....

Image result for feeling nothing

I feel more disconnected from the world than I ever did before but this feeling goes away for a moment, every once in a while. I feel more disconnected from the things I love to do, from my friends/family, from love, from hobbies, from work, from myself....from you.

I miss you even if you are right there, so close I could reach out and just touch you but lately despite how close you are so far away.

I don't know what to do, what to say, what to think or what to feel.

I miss these things, I miss me, I miss you.

I don't think I'm passionate for anything anymore, I now just roll with the punches and take it all day by day, while not feeling much of anything.

I'm becoming like a zombie....a alien....a rock. Something, whatever it is, it's not me.

I don't feel much of anything anymore, it's just meh and tired lol. Being tired has become a part of my personality lol.

I just hope one day, I can go back to being feeling again.

I miss these feelings, I miss these emotions, I miss you.

A&W Apple Pie Review.

So, I have never had an apple pie from A&W before hahaha, oddly enough though I finally got one. It wasn't long ago I had one from Burger King. I didn't eat my pie warm and right away and when I got home to eat it, I didn't bother to warm it up hahaha, fail I know. BUT that didn't hinder me from eating it or liking the pie, it just upset my stomach haha. I like this pie, the filling was nice and the sugar ontop was a nice touch, neither of the other fast foods pies (mcdonalds and burger king) sugar coat their pies. I rate it 3.5/5. I would have given it a 4 if it wasn't cold but my fault haha. I rank them from least fav to most fav: Burger King, A&W then Mcdonalds. I would get the pie again :D.

Word Of The Day #34.

Mitigate v. (1) Make less severe, serious, or painful: “he wanted to mitigate the damages in court.” (2) Lessen the gravity of (an offense or mistake).

Cheesy Steak Stuffed French Bread Recipe.

Cheesy Steak Stufffed French Bread (8)
  • 1 loaf crusty french bread
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 lb beef steak cut into small strips
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha hot chili sauce
  • 3 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup Mozzarella shredded
  • 1/2 cup Provel ropes or Provolone shredded

  1. Remove top third of the loaf by cutting around the bread several times with a sharp knife. Keep the knife at an angle that goes slightly downward. Remove the insides creating a boat. Try to leave about a half inch of bread all the way around.
  2. Add sesame oil to skillet over medium high heat. Add steak and cook until browned and slightly crispy on the edges; approximately 5-7 minutes. If the steak produces any moisture while cooking drain right away. You don't want your steak boiling. You want to almost stir fry it. Add garlic and continue cooking for 30 second. Stir in soy sauce, sriracha, Worcestershire sauce, ginger and ketchup. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Spoon beef mixture into French bread boat. Top with cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Turn the broiler on the last minute of cooking just to brown the cheese a touch. Stay close by broilers are finicky.

Crispy Gnocchi with Basil Pesto

To make the basil pesto:
2 cups fresh basil leaves, packed
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan-Reggiano cheese
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup pine nuts
2 garlic cloves, minced
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 (1 lb.)package potato gnocchi (we used DeLallo)
Parmesan cheese, for serving

1. Combine the basil, garlic, and pine nuts in a food processor or blender and pulse until coarsely chopped. With the machine running, slowly add the olive oil and process until smooth. Add the cheese and pulse until combined. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Set aside.
2. Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain completely. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the gnocchi in a single layer and cook, undisturbed, until golden and crisp, about 3-4 minutes. Turn the gnocchi and cook, turning occasionally, until golden and crisp, about 3 more minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in 1/4 to 1/3 cup of the pesto. You might have leftover pesto. Serve warm and garnish with Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Ocho Rios Mango Nectar Drink Review.

So I was at the dollar store and they didn't have any gatorade lol, I decided to grab this mango nectar as I do love mango. I like it until half way it became more and more tart and that dryer texture mangoes have on the inside in some parts, I prefer mango juice over nectar it's easier to drink. I did like this though and if there were no other options or if it was offered to me, I would get it again. I rate it 3/5, I didnt want to give it 3 but I didnt want to give it a 2.5 either....idk lol.

IC Food World. Handmade Deli Turkey Sandwich Review.

So I was at the grocery store and they have a back to school special on a turkey sandwich and pop for 5 bucks. The sandwich was handmade right in front of my with fresh ingredients :D. I had to wait a bit for it but it was worth it 1000000%. The sandwich is turkey, mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomato and a light mayo (I'm pretty sure it's mayo or some kind of mayo like dressing). This sandwich was FANTASTIC! I can't even believe something so simple taste soooo good but all the ingredients like I said were fresh. I don't know how long they will have the special up but I'm hoping for ever! I need this! I'm too lazy to make myself but if I need to...I will. I rate it 5/5 hands down.
