Star Wok.Pepper Steak with Onions, Chicken Fried Rice and Egg Roll Review.

So I was deciding between Mary Brown's or Star Wok. I decided on Chinese as my last lunch before I had my dental work. Once I have fully recovered I will head over to Mary Brown's for a review.

OKAY I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH FIT IN THE SMALL CONTAINER (see last photo) like damnnn!!

I decided on two egg rolls, I regret I had. I mean sure the plum sauce helped and so did having it as a leftover bite but hot and fresh it was not good, I don't know what it was but this was the worst egg roll I had ever had. I rate it 1.5/5.

The chicken fried rice, I was nervous about because most Chinese food places have bland rice that needs hella salt BUT this rice did not need it. I loved this rice, though having it as leftovers not even a few hours later the same day, it tasted off. Hot I rate it 4/5 but reheated 2/5.

Lastly the pepper steak with onions, okay so they always go overboard on the veggies and skimp on the meat, it makes me kinda sad. It was pretty good though the meat WOW! Lol! I wish it was black pepper beef like they have at Manchu Wok but they just had the pepper pork meh, I'm not tooo bent out of shape. I rate the steak 3.5/5.

So Delicious. Coconut-Coco. Cookie Dough Dairy-Free Frozen Dessert Review.

I grabbed the cookie dough flavour (as there literally was no other flavours in the store or any other tubs, I just happened to find it in the wrong spot at the store and I grabbed it quick). I was not crazy about the cookie dough or how coconut-y it was but it was still pretty good. It's thicker than regular dairy desserts but it is rich and creamy. There are chunks in it and it adds a cool texture to the treat but I don't care too much for the way they taste. I also find it's not as sweet of a treat as I'd like. I do not care for the price but it makes sense for a dairy-free dessert. It's something I would eat if offered to me but other than that I don't think I would purchase out of my own pocket. I would be interested in more flavours than those offered. I'm thrilled it won't hurt my stomach. I rate it mayba 3/5 as it's tough to say, I think I prefer lactose free ice cream to dairy free they certainly do taste different. Hmmm.

My First Time At Jersey Mike's Review.

So I had heard Jersey Mike's was coming to convenient location near me. I was excited to try out a new sub place. I had it picked up and brought back to me, we did not go to the location itself. I grabbed the Club Sub: turkey, ham, provolone, apple-wood smoked bacon and mayo. There were 3 subs on our bill it came out to almost 40 bucks OUCH.

I didn't care for my sub, it was thick (but small in size) and it was filling but it was NOT GOOD. It came off as so wet and soggy. I hated the apple-wood smoked bacon and there was too much mayo. It was just so lackluster and for THAT PRICE?! I would never go back. I rate it 2/5. I'm rather disappointed and I feel my pocket had be robbed. Smh. Well at least I know now, it's better to try than to never have known, right?

Savoia. Chocolate Chip S Biscuits Review.

I haven't had the S cookies in a hot minute and I had never tried the chocolate chips ones. I normally don't look over the ingredients either but I did and wow these chocolate chips have chocolate liquor in them! Cool! Lol!

So I bought them to find out they expired the month prior SMH LAME. I had not grabbed a receipt when I was there so I couldn't return them. I did though decided to try them anyway, they were of course rather dry but still edible. I did though not care much for the flavour anyway especially of the chocolate it was just meh to me. I rate them 2/5. I would eat them if there were no other cookies and I was craving cookies, as that is why I grabbed them in the first place hahaha, otherwise I wouldn't buy them again.

Harvey's Bacon Poutine Burger Review.

So I watched youtuber KBDproductions (Ken Domik) do this review, I was like ehhhhh why not?! Lol! I love poutine and I love burgers haha. I overall like the concept and it's a pretty cool concept but I didn't love the flavour. I think I will stick to eating my burgers and poutine seperately. It wasn't bad but I just wasn't feeling it. I rate it maybe 3 but maybe 2.5/5. It wasn't bad tasting just you know...meh.

Kras. Kiki. Croatian Candy Review. (Mandarin, Lemon, Strawberry and Raspberry)

Kiki -made in croatia by Kras, fruit "toffee" mandarin, strawberry, raspberry and lemon.

A lot like starburst but look more natural and are easier to chew.

Lemon: It's a pleasent lemon, it's certainly not the bitter tart starburst lemon I hate. I just am not overall a fan of lemon. I rate them 2.5/5. I didn't wanna say 2.5 or 3 haha.

Mandarin: Ohh the flavour isn't strong and it comes on as you chew, it's certainly a more natural flavour. I really enjoyed it for the flavour it was but overall I'm not huge on it. I rate them 3/5.

Raspberry: I hope there wasn't just this one in the bag, I struggled to find it. The flavour is amazing!
I don't normally like raspberry flavoured things but this is so good. OH MY GOD! YES! hahahah! I think this flavour alone has made me convert to these from starburst LOL! I rate them 4.5/5.

Strawberry: For the moment of truth...my favourite flavour. Ohhh it's juicy! I do love this so! There's a strong but not overpowering flavour of strawberry, this is ideal! I rate it 4/5.

I'm surprised I liked the raspberry at all or as much as I did, I'm also surprised I liked it more than the strawberry. I also love the aftertaste it's so nice. I'm glad I picked these up at the gas station, also they weren't even two bucks YAY!

Tequila Rose Drink Review.

Okay, so this bottle is gorgeous and it wasn't overly pricey either. I've never had tequila but I was like okay there is strawberry liquor in here too, let's grab it. It was my birthday so why not?! I was nervous about it but it's sooo good, legit strawberry milkshake but you can certainly taste the tequila. LOVE LOVE LOVE! YES! It's now one of my favourite drinks. I rate it 4.5/5.

Vodka Mudshake. Orange Cream Drink Review.

So I am not normally into creamy alcoholic beverages but I decided orange cream is amazing and so is vodka. This legit, tastes really good. I mean I started off with LOVING it and now I'm like ya it's still pretty good, I couldn't taste the alcohol at all. I rate it 3.5/5. I think XD maybe a 3.

UPDATE: I FUCKING HATE THEM. OK lmao! The more I drink them the more I hate them sigh, I have one left in the pack and I can't wait for it to be over, I don't have ice in the freezer nor a tray that I know of but I think ice COULD save this gross ass drink LMAO my new rating is 1.5 maybe 2/5.

Smirnoff. Peach Bellini Drink Review.

I have recently tried a bellini from East Side Marios (search it on my blog) so smirnoff had a peach one, I was like yes! I have tried many of these coolers and sure why not?! I have also tried smirnoffs white peach fizzy like soda drink, I didn't like it at all (sorry I have no review for that one.) In the smirnoff can circle though I do have two reviews on my page for their white and red sangria (search on my blog). It smells great and tastes great too! It's crisp and refreshing I would def get them again! I rate it 3.5/5.

Baskin Robbins. Beavertails Ice Cream Review.

So I decided to try this out, I really like beaver tails but the ones from Beavertails the actual store, I'm like meh they are sad sized to me but I had decided yes let's try this. There were actual pieces of beaver tail in the ice cream and the flavour was cinnamony and creamy. I didn't love it nor was crazy about it, I don't know if I would get it again though. I'm still interested in trying new ice cream flavours but this one I'm glad I tried anyway. I rate it 2.5/5 I don't mean that as my usual 2.5 but as a it was not my cup of tea but it wasn't okay enough for a 3 kinda 2.5.

Bento Sushi. Pork Gyoza Dumplings with Gyoza Sauce Review.

So I had no real reason for wanting pork dumplings but I decided to grab them up anyway. They were a little pricey at 5 bucks but I thought hey let's try it anyway. I had never had gyoza before in dumpling or sauce form. I WAS LOVING THIS SAUCE THOUGH! I honestly, yes. I really liked the dumplings too, I wish I had more for 5 bucks haha even just one extra. The sauce is a lot like the Nando's sauce but not spicy at all. I really will be grabbing them again. I rate the dumplings 4/5 and the sauce 4.5/5. YES!

Sullivan & Bleeker Baking Co. Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Review.

So I had tried another one of the Sullivan & Bleeker cookies (type in Sullivan in the search on my blog for the other cookie review, it was a smores cookie, amazing!), I grabbed an oatmeal raisin cookie. This cookie was a lot like the Tim Hortons spiced oatmeal raisin. I wish it was less spiced with cinnamon and more oatmeal, more chewy. I don't know if I would get it again but for what it was, it was really good. If I was there again and wanted oatmeal raisin I would consider grabbing one up. It cost 3 bucks just like the other cookie and I am looking into getting other flavours. I rate this one 3/5.

East Side Mario's Spaghetti and Meatballs Review.

So I did eat this as leftovers, so I can only rate this from a re-heated POV lol. I did love the sauce, it was amazing. The noodles though were kinda bland, probably need more salt. I was hoping for more sauce lol but it's okay. I did enjoy the meatball, single one hahaha. I didn't get it hot as it wasn't my food but I would try it out hot next time I visit. I rate the sauce 4/5, the noodles 3/5 and the meatball 3.5/5.

Hi-Chew. Candy Review. (Banana, Melon, Mango, Grape and Green Apple)

I have reviewed the strawberry Hi-Chew (I have updated today, check it out on my blog if you search Hi-Chew.). I decided to try out the other flavours. The bag of variety flavours are cheaper than getting the packs on single flavours. I decided to try the banana, melon, mango, grape and green apple. I did get the green apple in the single pack.

The Banana, I really liked. It had that fun and taffy banana flavour I like, that I know most people don't. I rate them 3.5/5.

The melon, I thought was okay but I don't feel it had a cantaloupe flavour. It was okay, I don't think I'd get them again, I rate them 2.5/5.

The Mango, I really liked! I love mango flavour overall and I find oriental snacks and sweets are really good for mango. I rate them 3/5.

The grape, I thought was okay. I didn't like the flavour much and I'm not sure if I would get it again. I rate it 2.5/5.

Lastly the green apple, I really really really disliked the green apple NOPE. I wasn't feeling it at all, the flavour was bleh. I rate it 1.5/5.

Pita Factory. My First Beef/Lamb Gyro Review.

OKAY SO YA...the second photo isn't mine of course, courtesy of Google. I forgot to take a photo of my food and it took me half an hour or 20 minutes to eat and I not once thought of taking a photo hahaha. So this will have to suffice.

This was my first time having a beef/lamb gyro, I normally don't eat lamb. I have never had lamb before and it was a thing in our household not to eat it. My mom only eats it this way and no other, I am the same well now obviously.

So in my gyro I got the meat, lettuce, cucumbers, green peppers, light mayo, mushrooms, pickles and tomatoes. (I honestly thought it was supposed to be sweet onion sauce not light mayo.....when I ate it I was confused about what the heck the sauce was then just now looking over the list of toppings I got it was light mayo I'm like the fuck happened I didn't click that LMAO I usually go light mayo but not this time lol........or maybe I did actually want light mayo lol).

I did try out pieces of the meat alone, you can tell the difference between the lamb and the beef kinda haha they season it all the same but the lamb has a sweeter taste to it. I'm not huge on the lamb, I will stick to my other meats and leave lamb alone like I had been all my life.

Overall though it was pretty good, I mean I wouldn't take it or leave it, it's more like a meh. I rate it 3/5. The meat alone though I can't give a 3 but can't give a 2.5 it's just okay to me...not my cup of tea.

Valumart Chicken Salad Sandwich Review.

So I have had their subs before, I don't recall if I reviewed it though...hold on....no I did not BUT it was meh I didn't care too much for it. I decided on a chicken salad sandwich on multigrain bread for 4 bucks. I was hoping for a discounted sandwich as I was going to eat it right outside the store LMAO. I didn't want Tuna as I had a meeting and that's yuck haha.

I decided on multigrain as I usually get white bread. I didn't care much for the crust to be honest, the bread itself was good, I rate it 3.5/5.

There was lettuce on this sandwich thank god and their chicken salad had different mixins than just something basic. There was red onion, green pepper and tomatoes in the chicken salad YES YES YES! It was sooo delicious I cannot even. I rate it 4.5/5 probably one of my favourite chicken salads, though I do prefer it with red pepper (like the one from 711 but this one was more creamy and mmmm).

My First Time At East Side Mario's Review.

Soooo, YES this was my first time going to East Side Mario's (besides when I was young and I don't recall).

I decided of course, booze LOL despite being sick. I ordered the Venice Bar Bellini it was OMGGGGGG YESSSSSSSSS! It tasted like fuzzy peaches (the gummy candy) but I felt it could've used a little more sugar haha. I loved it though, I think the server filled it to the brim because she was flirting with me LMAO JK. I would order a million of them, I rate it 4/5.

I ordered the Italian Wedding Soup OH HOLD UP I didn't take a photo of their bread but their bread was YES YES YES! I loved it! 4.5/5. (Here courtesy of Google, this is the garlic home loaf.)

I ordered the Italian Wedding soup, hmmmmm I was not feeling it. There was hardly any of the mini meatballs in it :( so sad....it also was watered down a bit and toooo salty sigh. I would not get it again, I rate it 2.5/5.

Next I had a make your own pasta: linguine noodles, primavera sauce, primavera veggies and seasoned shrimp. I thought how they cooked the veggies, made them taste a little spoiled. The pasta was overcooked and kinda chewy at this point, the sauce was pretty good but not that prominent in the dish and the shrimp was good but there was not enough of it for the extra cost. 

I did end up having leftovers of my pasta and it tasted a lot better reheated. The veggies no longer tasted spoiled and overall it tasted better later on in the day. Though the sauce had leaked and gotten all over the bottom. I found the dish overall anticlimactic and first taste I rate it 2.5/5 and reheated 3/5. I would not get it again.

Lastly I was shocked to see funnel cake on the menu and I'm like OH YES! I didn't need the strawberry sauce or the other honey or caramel like sauce that was on it. I did think it could've used powered sugar instead of the sauces. I liked the ice cream kinda but it was a weird texture also slushie like. The funnel cake itself was YES YES YES! It's better than the one's I've had at the fair, tbh. I rate the ice cream 2.5/5 and the funnel cake 5/5. I wish I had eaten more of it but I had gotten so full and sick....mixing alcohol and food usually hurts me but it def wasn't good to mix it with seafood oops XD. 

I'd surely go again, get a different soup and a different pasta. I would stick with the drink and the funnel cake. And who could go wrong with endless bread :O what?!

RCSS. 1/4 Piece Chicken and Seasoned Baby Potatoes Meal Review.

So I was hungry and was peeping these adorable and delicious baby potatoes, they called to me. I didn't really want nor need the chicken but I'm glad I got it.

It cost me 6 bucks and I felt they could've added more chicken in it but it's fine. For a hot meal that's not deep fried and hella greasy, the price is good.

I loved the chicken, more than I thought. Sure it looked a little pale and could've been roasted more but loved it!

The potatoes were the star of the dish! Yes!!! I loved them! You could cut them with a fork and they were nicely seasoned, not spicy and the heat was from cooking alone. I loved the buttery flavour, love love love.

Overall, I would get this again for sureeee. I really enjoyed it, I think I'd pay a little more if I could get more chicken. I rate the chicken 4/5 and the potatoes 4.5/5.

Sullivan & Bleeker Baking Co. Marshmallow S'Mores Cookie Review.

So I decided on one of these expensive amazing looking cookies, I also grabbed an oatmeal raisin which I will be reviewing, next time I will be grabbing some other flavour(s).

This cookie was rich, the whole thing,  I wasn't loving the cookie itself though I liked it and I had found the chocolate kinda bitter. The marshmallow was good and added a new and great texture.

I'm not sure if I would get it again, especially for the price of 3 bucks but if it was offered to me sure. I rate it 3.5/5.

Lotte. Pepero. White Cookie Review.

So I saw these on the shelf and thought, I have tried the Japanese Pocky but I had never had these Lotte, Korean brand snacks. I was thrilled the box was $1.19. YAY! Lol! I tried them and I LOVED THEM! Jesus, these were so good. I would def grab them again, the white cookie coating was great and the pretzel stick itself was buttery almost and so good. I rate them 4.5/5. I would give it a 5 but I've never been like huge about cookies and cream even though I love it. It's weird to try and explain haha.
