Jester On Yonge. Club Sandwich, Fries and Gravy Review.

The sandwich was good at the start, the bread was new to me I don't even remember what type but good bread, just some bites of the chicken weren't good and tasted off and the garlic aioli I didnt like.  I found as the sandwich progressed, I liked it even less. I was gunna rate it 3/5 but it ended up being a 2.5/5 for me.

The fries were good, I had no complaints about them and I rate them 4/5.

The gravy was just alright, I'm a gravy lover and this gravy wasn't anything to write home about, I rate it 3/5.

Smokes Poutiniere. Bacon Poutine Review.

I have always heard about this place but never went till now, I ordered the bacon poutine and these photos show the un-stirred and stirred versions of this poutine. The poutine overall was just alright, I always got told so much hype about Smokes Poutiniere but it was just alright as I didn't love the gravy and the fries were my least favourite part even when piping hot; I have had better poutine elsewhere. I'd consider eating it again if offered but I doubt I'd go out of my way again to eat it but I rate it 3/5.

Nickelodeon. Paw Patrol Gummies Review.

The pink and red ones taste like perfume and flowers, the blue one I'm not sure on flavour but tastes good, overall its' a waste if there's not enough blue ones. I wouldn't get them again and I rate them 2/5.

Sweet Shoppe. 4D. Gummy Icebergs Review.

I have tried a few different gummies of this brand, stay tuned to them on the blog. Today I am trying out the gummy icebergs.

THESE WERE HORRENDOUS! They smelled like bubble gum meets mouthwash. They tasted so bad, just like mouthwash, they even burned my mouth like alcohol in the mouthwash, this was a disaster. I had to toss the bad and I rate it 0/5.

Firehouse. Hook And Ladder Sub Review.

I have one other Firehouse review (search it on my blog) and this time I'm trying out the Hook and Ladder sub.

For some odd reason there was jalapenos on it and there shouldn't have been as I didn't ask for them. The hook and ladder sub has Smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham and melted Monterey Jack. Served with mayo, mustard (I got mine without), lettuce, tomato and onion. Other than that addition of jalapenos, it was delicious. I always love their subs and I'd get it again for sure and I rate it 5/5.

La Molisana. Gluten Free Penne Rigate Pasta Review.

(Sorry I failed to take a photo again of the cooked pasta but it looks like the photo above and looks like regular pasta.)

The pasta was good hot but reheated was bad. I prefer their spaghetti that I've already tried for review. (search it on my blog.) I wouldn't get it again because I always have leftovers when making pasta and these leftovers left a bad taste in my mouth but hot and fresh I rate it 3/5.

Chef Wang. Sukiyaki Beef Noodle With Veggies Review.

I picked up two of these Chef Wang meals, this one is the sukiyaki beef noodle with veggies (stay tuned for the second meal).

The noodles were fine and the veggies were good but the beef was an odd texture that I did not like much, it was almost like it was pre-chewed. I wouldn't get it again and I rate it 2.5/5.

Doritos. Dinamita Chips Review.

I enjoy Doritios but I don't enjoy spicy BUT HERE WE ARE trying out the Doritos Dinamita.

The more you eat the hotter they get, it makes my nose run a little but flavour wise these aren't too bad. I find they are addicting but I don't really like them overall and I rate them 2.5/5,

2 Girls And An Oven. Chocolate Chip And Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Review.

I ordered cookies from a "local" small business called 2 girls and an oven. I ordered a dozen cookies, half chocolate chip and half oatmeal raisin. Their customer service was great, very quick response and very polite. The dozen cookies cost me 20 dollars plus shipping, which I think is worth it for a small business, they usually put so much love in their food or so we will find out in this review.

The chocolate chip cookie looks delicious, there were many chocolate chips throughout the cookie and they were my favourite part. The rest of the cookie though I didn't love but it was a good flavour just something tasted a bit different to me, I might have found it not sweet enough for my own personal taste. I rate the chocolate chip cookie 3/5.

The oatmeal raisin cookie my mother thought was amazing, she even commented on how heavenly it smelled and tasted, it was easy for her to eat and she said it deserved a 5/5 (or in her words a 6/5 or even 10/5 lol). 

For me though I thought the oatmeal raisin cookie also had something a little different about it than other oatmeal raisin cookies I've had, I did like the chew on the cookie though I thought it could be a little softer in my own personal taste but I thought the raisins were my favourite part. I enjoyed this cookie more than the chocolate chip and I rate it 4/5.

I did share the rest of the cookies amongst others and they were a huge hit, maybe my taste buds alone have changed over the years when it came to sweet treats but they were loved overall. I have a feeling those I shared with would enjoy purchasing again from them in the future.

Pogo Breakfast. Smoky Bacon Sausage Corn Dog Review.

I enjoy Pogos, so I thought I'd try these breakfast ones for review.

The more I ate them the less I hated them but the batter is my least favourite part, it was like a cheap sausage in a biscuit pancake batter with table syrup. Not better than a regular Pogo and I wouldn't get them again and I rate them 2.5/5.

Omega Family Restaurant. Open Faced Chicken Cordon Bleu Review.

This is my first time having something from this restaurant and I ordered the open faced chicken cordon bleu on pasta. 

Honestly it was all bad, the pasta was gross somehow, the chicken was bad, the ham had barely any taste and the gravy wasn't great either. I actually lied the only good part was the mushrooms. I have to admit I couldn't even eat it and I rate it 0/5.

(I was eating with 4 other people, 4 of us got pasta and 1 other got a club sandwich and fries. 2 of the pasta eaters hated their food and the other 2 enjoyed their food. The person who got the club and fries was happy. So I think this restaurant can have good items but I picked a bad one clearly. On the plus side of this whole review, they sell huge portions which surprised me.)

Amy's. Bowls. Meatless Pepperoni Mac And Cheese.

I have tried out various Amy's dishes (search them on my blog) and this time I'm trying out the meatless pepperoni mac and cheese for review.

The macaroni I hated so much, it was hard to eat like school lunch macaroni. The meat smelled like meat but tasted just like a less seasoned slim jim and I don't like slim jims, I wouldnt get it again and I rate it 1/5.

Old Dutch. Beef Jerky Review.

I love Old Dutch brand for their chips and I do like beef jerky so when I saw Old Dutch did a jerky, I wanted to try it for review.

The flavour is good but it's a bit damp and I've never eaten such a wet jerky before, it was odd and I don't think I'd get it again and I rate it 2.5/5.

President's Choice. Strawberry Mochi Review.

The flavour is delicious, the texture is great but my sensitive teeth hate it haha but the aftertaste is great and lingering. I prefer this over the other brand I've had (search it on my blog). I'd get them again for sure and I rate them 4.5/5.

Nature Valley. Maple Brown Sugar Crunchy Granola Bar Review.

I enjoy nature valley bars and these are so delicious, they remind me a bit of the instant oatmeal that's maple brown sugar. We know how many crumbs these bars make but I'd still get these again and I rate them 4.5/5.

Ocean's. Light Tuna SnacKit Review.

I love these tuna kits so I thought I would try this Ocean's brand for review.

The crackers were awful almost cookie like in flavour and texture. The tuna was so dry and I'm sad it wasn't a tuna salad. Overall I hated this kit, it's my least favourite one that I've had so far and I rate it 1.5/5.

Big Daddy. Oatmeal & Raisin Cookie Review.

The cookie was so cold it's odd as I didn't have it in a cold spot and I didn't love the flavour. I found it was very tender like the package said but overall was odd textured compared to other ones I've had of this brand (stay tuned for those reviews). I rate it 2/5 despite loving oatmeal raisin cookies, this is the worst one I've ever had.

Starburst Duos. Strawberry Watermelon and Blue Raspberry Lemonade Candy Review.

I like Starburst so I was excited to try these duos, there are two flavours: strawberry watermelon and blue raspberry lemonade.

So the blue raspberry lemonade was a little sour and I didn't love the flavour but the strawberry watermelon was delicious. I don't know if I'd get the bag again cause I want just one of the flavours but I rate the strawberry watermelon 3.5/5 and the blue raspberry watermelon 2.5/5.

Red Lobster. Cheddar Bay Biscuits and Shrimp Linguine Alfredo Review.

I had been avoiding Red Lobster due to price, it had never come up throughout my life where I wanted to fork out so much for food. WELL when I got there I realized the food is a little over priced but not as much as I had feared all those years.

I got the cheddar bay biscuits I have heard so much about.The biscuits were a nice texture and nice flavour but I didnt love them like most people loved them. I think the first biscuit was my favourite but the more I ate them the less I liked them, they are also not bad at room temp either. I would consider eating them again but I didn't need so many, which I ended up with and I rate them 2.5/5. (2 or 3 came with my meal and the nice server got me a few more for free wow!) (

I then ordered the shrimp linguine alfredo and the pasta was a huge serving for the dinner portion I bought, I could've settled on the lunch portion but this left me with some to take home. I liked the pasta, it tasted good but it lacked something I felt like maybe different spices or even add some veggies like peppers, broccoli etc. I'd consider getting it again but it was a little bit much on the pocket (This cost 19 dollars) but I rate it 3.5/5.

Cool Runnings. Guava Passion Fruit Nectar Review.

I have had another flavour I don't recall but I didn't do it for review sorry but I am now trying out the guava passion fruit nectar.

There's a strong medicine flavour and I hated it, I regret not getting the mango carrot to try instead, oh well it's good for review. I of course would not be getting it again and I rate it 0/5.

Update: I accidentally bought it a second time, forgetting I didn't like it. I didn't hate it as much as I did the first time but it still tastes kinda like medicine. I am gunna rate it now a 2/5.

Cora's. Strawberry Avalanche French Toast Review.

I have eaten a lot of Cora's food, almost all of their foods (search my blog for the one other item I reviewed) and this time I'm having the strawberry avalanche french toast.

This is french toast topped with a mountain of strawberries, nothing too fancy. This was not a great bread and it wasn't easy to eat or cut and was rather burnt around the edges but the strawberries were good. So overall I didn't really like it, it was just okay I guess and I rate it 2/5.

Hershey's. Strawberries N Creme Chocolate Bar Review.

I have tried two other flavours of these new Hershey's N Creme chocolate bars (I haven't posted them up on my blog yet though.) and this one is strawberries and creme.

So this bar was at first glance good but kinda flowery perfume like or almost like soap, I thought I'd love it but after the first bite I didn't love it but I liked it more than the other two flavours. I don't think id get it again and I rate it 3/5.

Vachon. Strawberry Banana Passion Flakie Review.

(Sorry I didn't get a better inside photo but you can see in the second photo what the pink cream looks like.)

I have been eating passion flakies as long as I can remember but I only ate the raspberry flakies, they also sell apple but I didn't bother with those growing up. I was surprised to see two new flavours, strawberry and banana and lemon lime or something citrusy. I thought for review I'd try the strawberry banana as I will NOT like the other flavour.

This overall was a pretty good flakie, I love the strawberry flavour but the banana I could do without. The banana was too artificial to me and a bit overpowering but the strawberry I thought was perfect and looked delicious too. I don't think I'd get them again unless they did just strawberry, I rate them 3/5.
