This was my first time at Cultures. I was checking out their list of bowls. They range between 10 and 12 bucks (without tax). I decided to get the Zen bowl (it cost me 10 bucks without tax):
These toppings ^ sit on a bed of brown "rice" this wasn't much like rice hm, it was odd and was more like quinoa than rice but it was rice. So let's do a breakdown of this bowl and how I felt about it.
The grilled chicken breast was great! It was warm and delicious! The mango went so well with the chicken, I cannot grasp how much I love mango and chicken together. The carrots were just as they were, they were fine. The tomatoes were a good addition to the bowl. The cilantro was just cilantro, nothing much to say about it. The Asian sesame dressing though I didn't like.
Most bites of this bowl were not good, when the dressing and rice was eaten together but without the rest of the toppings, they were bad bites. The fruits and veggies with the chicken, those bites were good. Many bites in this bowl were different, it was a huge array of things going on and for the most part I didn't like it and I wouldn't get it again. I think next time I go to cultures I will try a wrap. I rate this bowl 2.5/5.
