Air Heads. Strawberry Soda Review.

 

I've done two other reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the strawberry soda.

I loved this, it's carbonated but barely, like in a cream soda and it's pretty smooth, The flavour is delicious and nicely strawberry and even candy-like but the aftertaste is like bubble gum and that I did not like. I would absolutely buy it and drink it again and I rate it 4.5/5.

Keebler. Dip'Mmms. Fudge Stripes Smores Cookie Dip Review.

 

I've done one other review from this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the fudge stripes smores dip'mmms.

I'm not a fan of the cookies, I find they taste boring, dry and cheap but the marshmallow dip is nice, almost like a marshmallow fluff but with a more vanilla flavour and not the same texture, this is thinner, more runny and not as fluffy but overall not a great snack. I would not buy it or likely eat it again and I rate it a 3/5.

Pepperidge Farm. Sausalito. Chocolate Macadamia Cookies Review.

 

This is my second review from this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the Sausalito cookies, they are milk chocolate chunk and macadamia.

I really liked the milk chocolate chunks, they were nicely textured and had a rich nice chocolate flavour, the macadamia was pretty good, crunchy and tasted pretty good but the actual cookie was dry, grainy and did not taste very good, it was boring and I felt it was too crispy, I wished for a little softer of a texture, I did later on read they are crispy on purpose. I would not buy these again but I'd maybe eat them if offered and I rate them 3.5/5.

LOL Surprise. Chocolate Egg with Toy Review.

 

This is an LOL Surprise chocolate egg, it is hollow with a prize inside.

This is not a good chocolate but I've had worse, it's like a cheap dollar store chocolate and I'm disappointed it's not an actual tiny doll, it's a shaped piece with the doll painted on it. I would consider buying them again cause I do still think they are cute and would be cool to collect more but it was just okay of an experience overall and based mostly on the chocolate I rate it a 3/5.

Boston Market. Chicken Fettucine Alfredo Review.

This is my first review from this brand, today I'm trying the chicken fettucine alfredo.

This brand is kind of expensive and I found it was not worth the price. Flavour-wise it was not too bad for a frozen dinner, it was just boring like most other frozen alfredo but the chicken was fine in texture and I did like the broccoli and the pasta was okay but I just felt the sauce didn't do much for the dish. I don't think I'd buy it again but I'd eat it if offered and I rate it 3/5.

El Monterey. Chicken and Cheese Taquitos Review.

 

I've done a few reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the chicken and cheese taquitos. 

These are really good, with a bit of spice but I've had better. I enjoy the flavour of the filling and the crunch but lacking in chicken pieces. I really did like these but they are just not as delicious as the last ones but I will say each one of these were consistent in flavour, unlike the previous two. I would likely buy them and eat them again and I rate them 4/5.

El Monterey. Southwest Chicken Taquitos Review.

 

I've done a few reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the southwest chicken taquitos.

I couldn't taste much chicken, it mostly tasted of peppers and cilantro, with a nice spice. I liked the seasoned tortilla in flavour and its crunchy. Sometimes they have a creamy sauce that I could taste and some were delicious and spicy but some were boring and lacked flavour and creamy sauce, sadly it was very inconsistent, more than the previous one. I would consider buying them and I'd eat them again if offered and I rate them 4/5.

El Monterey. Steak and Cheese Taquitos Review.

 

I've done a few reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the steak and cheese taquitos.

I couldn't feel steak much in most of them but they all tasted meaty, minus seeing chunks and they were cheesy and nicely seasoned, with a little kick to it. Some had barely any filling or flavour, while some were great, overall quite inconsistent. I don't know if I'd buy them again but I'd eat them if offered and I rate them 3.5/5. 

Playboy. Peach Mango Energy Drink Review.

 

This is my first time having a energy drink from this brand, this is the peach mango.

I learned it's sparkling, I didn't like that as I hate most sparkling drinks but not the worst sparkling I've had and the peach mango is pretty good, though of course artificial in flavour. I would not buy it or drink it again and I rate it 3/5.

Keebler. Vienna Fingers Cookie Review.

 

I've had a few items from this brand but this is my first review, today I'm trying the Vienna fingers.

I disliked the cookie, it didn't taste great, it was so boring and lacking in flavour but the filling was nice in texture and vanilla flavour. Not a bad cookie overall but I wouldn't buy them or likely eat them again and I rate them 2.5/5.

Monster. Papillon Energy Drink Review.

 

I've done quite a few reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the papillon flavour.

I really like it, it tastes like peach ginger ale, it's fruity, with a good amount of sweetness and overall really nice. I would buy it and drink it again and I rate it 4/5.

Campbell's Chunky Chili. Homestyle Chili Review.

 

I've done many reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the homestyle chili.  For a very long time I didn't like chili but it was only in the last year or so that I have become a chili person and I have been eating other brands of chili, I had forgotten this one but I am now trying it for review.

It's delicious, probably my favourite canned chili so far. The chunks of veggies are great, the spice is nice and overall flavourful and I enjoyed it but I will say I wish the meat was in bigger chunks. I plan to buy it and eat it again and I rate it 4.5/5.

Nature's Bounty. Starfish Gummies Candy Review.

 

I've done three other reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the starfish gummies.

They are cute but have not a great flavour, yes they are fruity but it's fake of course and the texture is soft but I'm just not crazy about them overall. I would not buy them or eat them again and I rate them 2.5/5.

Gorilla Mind. Red Gummy Fish Energy Drink Review.

 

This is my first review from this brand and this is the red gummy fish flavour. 

This isn't a bad dupe to the Ghost Swedish Fish, it's not as good flavour-wise but it's smoother with less buzz  (after letting it sit a few minutes there really is a buzz, so ignore what I just said haha but there is little to no buzz at first) and they smell almost identical. It has a good flavour though, with the expected red berry candy taste. I don't love it so I likely wouldn't buy it again but I'd drink it if offered and I rate it 3.5/5.

Nature's Bounty. Watermelon Bites Candy Review.

 

I've done one other review from this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm doing the watermelon bites.

The flavour is alright. not a great watermelon flavour, just fine but these are very waxy and I absolutely hate the texture, it ruins it for me. I would not buy them or eat them again and I rate them 1/5.

Pillsbury. Beef Taco Pizza Pops Review.

 

I've done one other review of pizza pops from this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the beef taco ones.

The flavour is pretty nice, it is indeed cheesy beef taco but as you can see by the two cross-section photos, there is barely any meat, you can taste the meat and the seasoning enhances the beef flavour but there are barely any beef pieces. I would not buy these again but maybe I'd eat them if offered and I rate them 3.5/5. 

Mtn Dew. Voltage Raspberry Drink Review.

 

I've done a few mtn dew reviews (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the voltage raspberry. I've discovered depending on where I get my drinks from the can either says Mountain Dew or Mtn Dew, this is the first one I've posted so far that's Mountain Dew.

This was such a rough experience, the flavour tasted like fake blue raspberry, raspberry and a hint of what I imagined poison to taste like, so bitter and not like something I should be drinking. I then became quite unwell and I thought maybe there was more caffeine in it than I usually consume but I actually discovered ginseng in it, which I do not drink as it makes me feel sick, I didn't drink much of this, so I didn't feel the worst but I was having a rough time. I would absolutely not buy it or drink it again and I gave the flavour 1.5/5 but the overall experience a 0/5, as I could not safely drink this nor wanted to drink this.

Cottage Springs. Ontario Peach Vodka Soda Review.

 

This is my first review from this brand but my my second vodka soda.

I have to stop trying vodka sodas, it's not good at all, one of the worst things I've ever drank in and out of alcohol. The peach is fine but I just hate sparkling and similiar drinks, especially vodka and I like vodka (well like is a strong word but it's my usual drink of choice), I just have learned I hate vodka sodas. It tastes like fizzy tv static vodka and I think vodka on its own is already a quite funky, burning and unpleasant but this makes it even more burning and unpleasant and the peach couldn't save it. I would absolutely not buy this or drink this again and I rate it .5/5.

Kawartha. Mint Chip Ice Cream Review.

 

I had always thought of this brand as fancy and expensive, so I never got to try it but I came across these tiny pints and I thought I'd grab one for review. The other flavours available were limited but did not interest me other than the mint chip which is fine, I usually like mint chip.

Sadly this was a big disappointment, probably the worst mint chip ice cream I've had, it tasted like dirty mint leaves, toothpaste and the chocolate was very cheap tasting, I didn't taste anything though partway through the pint, not a single flavour, so I couldn't hate it at that point but the beginning was rough. I would not buy it or eat it again and I rate it 2/5.

Purdys Chocolatier. Saskatoon Berry, Strawberry Creme and More Review.

 

This was my first time trying Purdys and the service was amazing, the woman was very friendly, knowledgeable and even gave us a sample of their milk chocolate eggs, which I will admit I did not like, I did not enjoy the Purdy's milk chocolate and I found it was a lot like dollar store or grocery store chocolate eggs. 

This time I got a 6 piece bag of chocolates but I would go again to try their ice cream. This time I got the pieces as followed:

Snowball: Snowball: I like the chocolate and the coconut they are lovely together, though the chocolate is a little darker than I like, a little more bitter than I like. The center I didn't love, I'm not sure what the flavour is but I was not a fan, I will say though that the texture of the chocolate inside and out with the coconut was nice 3/5.

Saskatoon berry: cherry meets raspberry like flavour, it's pretty nice and goes well with the dark chocolate, though I still find it a bit too bitter. I don't love it but it is nice and I went into it with no expectations or idea of what it would be like and I was pleasantly surprised 3.5/5.

Mango: I thought I would love this one but it was rough. The mango flavour is like eating a candle meets eating the peel of an under-ripe mango. The chocolate though went with it sometimes for a mangoes and cream feel, so sometimes when I chewed it was pleasant but most of the bites were rough and I was greatly disappointed 2/5.

Strawberry creme: it was almost there, the strawberry was lovely and the dark chocolate went well with it but for some reason it also tasted like a white marker meets floral nail polish remover and I'm even more disappointed than I was with the mango, as I had such high hopes for this one, thinking it would be my favourite. I was looking for something to replace the Pot Of Gold flavour they discontinued but this did not do it for me at all 2.5/5.
