I normally go for vanilla but I wanted to try these anise ones, I had never heard of anise and I din't know exactly what I was buying at the time but I wanted to try them for review. I then found out anise is a plant often fond in alcoholic and coffee drinks, that it most resembles black licorice.
The smell is strong and I hate the black licorice smell but the taste is muted and is fine. I'd eat them again if offered but I wouldn't buy them again and I rate them 3/5.
