Marche. Strawberry Cheesecake Cookies Review.

 

This is my first time trying this brand. These are strawberry cheesecake cookies.

They smell and taste delicious but I am not a fan of the texture it's soft but oddly firm like playdough but this isn't that bad. I would not buy them but I'd eat them again if offered and I rate them 3.5/5.

Monster Energy. Nitro Energy Drink Review.

 

I've done many reviews of this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the nitro.

It tastes like limes, it's so delicious. It's almost as good as the Ghost limeade. This is one of my favourites of this brand and I would absolutely buy it and drink it again and I rate it 4/5.

Update: as I continue to drink it, it's too dry and no longer as enjoyable. I now rate it 3/5.

Rockstar. Strawberry Peach Punch Energy Drink Review.

I've done a few reviews of this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the strawberry peach punch.

This is the nicest Rockstar I've had so far, it's a delicious smelling and tasting drink, I'll say there's very little trace of peach and it does taste a little like nail polish remover and a bit too tart but compared to the other flavours I've had, this is it. I would not likely buy it but I'd drink it if offered and I rate it 4/5.

The Sconery. Apple Cinnamon and Bacon Cheddar Chive Scones Review.

 

I've done a couple reviews from this bakery (search them on my blog) and today I'm doing the apple cinnamon and bacon cheddar chive scones.

The apple cinnamon was really good, nice little chunks of apple in it. It's not as good as the cinnamon honey I've had but still great, I rate it 4/5.

The bacon cheddar chive scone was pretty good, I liked each of the "toppings" but I felt the scone itself was too sweet alongside the savoury pieces. Overall not a bad scone and I rate it 3.5/5.

Pita Factory. Baklava, Chicken and More Review.

 

I've done quite a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying baklava, chicken, fries and gravy. 

This is my first time having baklava and I'm very disappointed. I was hoping to like it but the taste is boring, the texture isn't pleasant and it's overall not fun to chew, it's a boring dish. I would not eat it or buy it again and I rate it 2/5.

Next is their chicken, quite good for a pita place. I liked the chicken but felt the breading was too crispy in a rocky texture and needed more flavour but was good nonetheless. I don't know if I'd buy it again but I'd eat it if offered and I rate it 3.5/5.

Next is the fries, they are different than prior, the ones I had before had a crispy coating but these were not coated. These were such sad fries, most of them were undercooked and they needed salt. I disliked both types of fries if I'm honest. I would not buy these or eat these again and I rate them 2.5/5.

Lastly the gravy, I've had it twice on poutine but this time i just used it as a dip. It's beefy and tastes pretty good but could be seasoned or salted, it was a bit lacking. Not a bad gravy but I didn't love it. I may eat it and buy it again and I rate it 3/5.
