I've sworn I've done a review on Tteokbokki before, it's somewhere on my blog though I got it from a restaurant but this is an instant version. I have also tried another one or two instant ones but have yet to post them, so this is my first instant Tteokbokki review.
It's very spicy but delicious. I liked the texture of the rice cakes for an instant one and the sauce was so good, it would be a great sauce for a pasta or even rice dish. This was better than the other instant ones I've had but nothing beats fresh rice cakes. I could not eat this again, as it really hurt, though not the spiciest thing I've had but it was great and I rate it 4/5.
