Grama's Kitchen. BBQ Ribs Review.

 

I've done quite a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and this time I'm trying the BBQ ribs.

These ribs were pretty good. I always think ribs don't have enough meat, I get it but I always want more haha. The flavour is good, the meat is well cooked and the medium BBQ sauce was a good flavour and a fair spice; it was a little tame for medium but overall tasty. I'd maybe get them again and I rate them 3.5/5.

Nissin. Roast Beef Instant Noodle Review.

 

I've done quite a few reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying out the roast beef instant noodle.

It's a bit spicy but the roast beef flavour was delicious. I accidentally added too much water but it overall haas a good taste and there's so much in this package! I would eat it again but I'm not sure if I'd get it again as it comes in a multi pack and I don't love it enough to eat at least 5 or 6 more haha but I rate it 4/5.

Mike's Hard Sour Watermelon Vodka Drink Review.

 

I've done a few of these drinks from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the sour watermelon.

It's not the worst watermelon drink I've had but it was not nice. The flavour is only a bit sour but the fake watermelon taste was not pleasant! I wouldn't get it again or drink it again and I rate it 1/5.

Manitou Takeout. Sweet Fries, Chicken Tenders, Fries and Blue Raspberry Slushie Review.

 

This is my first time at this restaurant and I don't think it'll be my last.

I ordered the sweet fries, chicken tenders, regular fries and a blue raspberry slushie.

The sweet fries are regular fries with chocolate sauce, white chocolate chips and I think cinnamon sugar. Its interesting indeed and the flavour is good but them being fries and not funnel cake sticks or some other kind of dessert, threw me off a bit. I think it's good but I don't think I'd get them again but I rate them 3.5/5.

The regular fries are good, they give me fair food vibes and I enjoyed them. I'd get them again and I rate them 4.5/5.

The chicken I thought was fair, I wasn't a fan of the breading as it was a lot like a frozen tender kind of batter but didn't taste frozen but overall not a bad chicken tender. I don't know if I'd get them again and I rate them 3/5.

I got a side of gravy and it was delicious! It was a well seasoned beef gravy and I thought it went great with both the chicken and the fries! I'd say this is one of my favourite take out gravies! I rate it 4.5/5. (Sorry photo is not great, the lighting outdoors was bad haha.)

Lastly I got a blue raspberry slushie. This is the first blue raspberry one I've had that didn't taste like chemicals, it tasted a bit like those sugary fruit belts I buy from Dollarama, it was nice! I think also the texture is perfect! I didn't love it but I did much more than any other one I've had. I rate it 3.5/5.

City Pizza. Chicken Alfredo Pizza Review.

 

I just did another review from this restaurant (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the chicken alfredo pizza, my half came with mushrooms.

It's overall a pretty good pizza, the chicken was my least favourite part I feel that way about most chicken from pizza joints and the mushrooms were fine BUT the sauce was my favourite part, it was delicious! I don't know if I'd get this exact pizza again but I'd adore another pizza with this alfredo sauce on it, I rate it 3/5.

City Pizza. Cheeseburger Pizza Review.

 

This was my first time trying this restaurant, I have a second review coming up so stay tuned! Today I'm reviewing the cheeseburger pizza.

This wasn't too bad but I liked it more as I ate it. The pickles were the best part, they were sweet and complimented the pizza so well! I'd get it again and I rate it 3.5/5.

Yellofruit. Strawberry Banana Frozen Dessert Review.

This is a banana dessert that's dairy free and vegan. I got to try a bit for review and I was excited because I enjoy already strawberry banana smoothies that come out in very similar consistency.

(Sorry I missed a photo of the dessert itself but I grabbed one from Google.)

It's of course fruity and fresh, it was really nice and I don't prefer it to ice cream personally but for a dairy free option it was wonderful. I'd get it again and I rate it 4/5.
