Temu. Product and Website Review.

 

I've been watching Youtubers try out Temu for a few months now, I decided to make my own purchase. I got an array of items. This site is similar to Wish and Aliexpress and I've done my fair shop of each of those, so I was excited to see a new one. I used the app to make my purchase but they do have a website!

I placed my order March 10th 2023 and I got it March 24th 2023, this is the fastest shipping I've had from one of these sites, as Wish and Alixpress typically taking 2 months on average for an order, so this made me very happy!

Here is what I got in the mail and I will review each item:

This bra I ordered in xl the largest they had (Of this particular item, they do have plus items, Im mid so I can fit either sometimes) and it just fits, if I was any bigger it would not fit. For reference I wear a 36 C/D bra. I had to note it comes with adjustable straps and it came with padding but the one was bent out of shape so I just removed them. Its nice looking, fitting and feeling; very flattering on, I'm overall happy with my purchase and I rate it 5/5.

I love Koya so much, this one feels and looks great! Adorable! I'm happy and it'll be great for my BT21 collection! I have no complaints and I'm in love. I rate it 5/5.

So the hat itself and print were not great quality, this was the one item I was not in love with but it's not a bad hat overall and it fit me fine, I rate it 3/5.

I'm in love with this plush capybara! Its so adorable! It looks and feels fantastic! I could pet it all day long haha. I think it's a little smaller than I wanted, out of my personal taste but that's not an issue, it fits in well in my plush collection and I rate it 5/5.

So funny story about the nose ring. The tiny studs fell off as I took it out of the bag and they got lost haha AND I put it on the first time and it didnt sit right in my nose, unlike how good it looked on others, it could've been just not suited for my particular nose. I went to put it on a second time to take a photo for review AND IT SLIPPEED OUT OF MY FINGERS AND I LOST IT IN THE SINK lmao! Yikes, so there is no photo haha sorry. It was still pretty neat and again looked great on others, so it was not a bad purchase and I rate it 4/5.

Lastly the rug. I'm not unpacking it currently as I need it for moving but I opened the bag to take a photo and get a feel. It's so soft! It feels great and looks great BUT I gotta admit it looks not quite like the ad photo material wise BUT I'm not unhappy, I can't wait to put it up in my new room! I rate it 4/5.

My final thoughts are, this is a great company! I've had hit and misses with the other two companies but this one was the most successful across the board, I may have had one just okay product but the others I was happy with or in love with! I would do business with them again in the future. I just want to admit, I felt overwhelmed by all the products, I wouldn't shop often here, it's a lot to take in with endless scrolling but if you're in the mood for some shopping, it would be great!

I also gotta mention Koya was not part of my initial purchase but if you add items to your order quickly after your first purchase, you can add it to your first shipment and not need to wait for any additional shipments.

I also wanted to note: they often have great sales, as well as ways to get free or discounted items, through things like spins and invites. I helped one of my friends get an item by using her code when signing up for Temu, it's overall pretty neat.

Mr Puffs. Assorted Dessert Puffs Review.

This is my first time at this restaurant, they sell Puffs, which to me are like a funnel cake meets a donut. I got 4 flavours, cookies n cream, cinnapuffs, cinnamon sugar and apple cinnamon.

Above are the cookies n cream, they are DELICIOUS! I loved the texture, flavour and taste overall so lovely. Id like to note each box comes with picks to eat with, I just didn't use them to take photos haha oops. I loved this flavour and I rate it 4.5/5.

These are the cinnapuffs, they are like baby cinnamon buns, they are lovely. I think they need more icing but otherwise they were great and I rate them 4/5.

These are the apple cinnamon ones, they are nice but probably my least favourite, just out of personal taste, overall still good and I rate them a strong 3.5/5.

Lastly the cinnamon sugar ones, these are lovely, nothing fancy of course but my go to dessert flavour is usually cinnamon sugar, I don't have any complaints about these ones and I rate them 4/5.

Overall a very good first taste, I got 4 boxes and they were on promotion 2 for $12, which is a great price as a single dozen alone is $8. I would go again and they gave me a stamp card to use for the future, to get you free dozens.

Update: eat them warm! If you let them get cold they get so doughy and are very hard to eat.

Prime. Strawberry Watermelon Hydration Drink Review.

I've done two other reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying the strawberry watermelon.

This is the best one in my opinion, I taste more strawberry than anything and it was nice, fruity and almost candy-like. I didn't get to try it out in the other states, as I did the other ones (open sitting at room temp, open sitting in the fridge and shaken up) so there's no guarantee it would still be good but I was sharing it, so I didn't get the full experience but just know the flavour can drastically change. I'd get it again and I might in the future for an update but for now I rate it 4/5.

Prime. Meta Moon Hydration Drink Review.

I just did a review for this brand (search or check it out on my blog) and today I'm trying the meta moon flavour.

This is not as nice as I've heard, the first sip was white grapes and as I drank it, it did get better in flavour, fruity, almost candy-like and not bad but nothing to write home about. I don't think I'd get this again and I rate it 3/5.
