Mary Brown's. Big Mary and Potato Wedges Review.

I had been to Mary Brown's once before to try their potato wedges but this was over 5 years ago.

I finally went again, I wanted to try out their wedges again and try out the Big Mary chicken sandwich.

I'm always open to trying foods I haven't before but this was a horrible experience. The wedges are a lot worse than I'm tryin to remember from before and the Big Mary was BAD. Both items left a bad taste in my mouth and I struggled to even finish the sandwich, the wedges I gave away. I heard they have good dessert (this little cinnamon bite things, I don't recall their name) but I would never go again for their wedges and chicken. I rate the wedges 0/5 and the Big Mary 1.5/5 as the items on the sandwich were fine but the chicken ruined it for me.

Tim Hortons. Mini Eggs Donut Review.

I had no idea about this donut until I saw it in store when they didn't have what I planned to order, this was an impulse buy but good for review.

This donut was pretty good actually, I love Mini Eggs and I do like a good vanilla dip donut, I mean of course I'm not crazy about too many sprinkles as they are the food version of glitter to me haha but it was still pretty cool. I would consider it again but it wasn't my fav donut of course. I rate it 3.5/5.

Tim Hortons Pancakes Review.

Tim Hortons now has pancakes, I was excited to try them out as I love pancakes. I have tried the A&W and McDonald's pancakes both are pretty good for fast food pancakes.

These though were AWFUL. The first pancake tasted like bubble gum and the other two just tasted so sad, I'm glad they only costed me 4 bucks for them but still a waste of money. I'm glad I tried them for review but I will not be getting them again, I rate them 0/5.

President's Choice. General Tao's Chicken Review.

I have tried a few President's Choice products (search it on my blog) and I thought I'd try out this general tao's chicken as I normally like this dish when I go out to eat.

The rice was alright and the chicken was alright too but the sauce and spice amount was good to me, I just wish there was more flavour to the rice and more pieces of chicken. I would eat it again but I don't know if I would buy it again. I rate it 3/5.

Update: it's been a few years since I did this review, I have actually eaten it a few times since then and I feel they have improved everything, even making it a bit more spicy and I now really like it. I will continue to buy it and I rate it 4/5.

Magic Bullet Review.

So I bought my first blender, a Magic Bullet and I know these are OLD and I'm late to the party but here I am haha.

I bought it to make smoothies but was blown away but what all I could do with it. I thought for this review we would go in depth about my smoothie making as that's what I first did with it.

This is what the Magic Bullet looked like out of the box, it came with a million cups and different lids. It's small in size and would fit nicely even in my luggage if I were to travel with it. Also here are photos of all 17 pieces.

I was over the moon about the recipe book that came with the Magic Bullet, this is how we picked out our first smoothie recipe.

I did not have ice ready for the smoothies but we followed the recipe otherwise.

I made three different smoothies with this one recipe, you can add your choice of frozen fruit beside the fresh banana) and your choice of liquids (orange juice or any kind of milk).

I failed to take a photo with the full cup on the base but this is one of the smoothie's prior to blending.

This smoothie had raspberries, strawberries, bananas and orange juice.

After 20 seconds of continuous blending this is how the smoothie turned out (it would be colder and a different texture with the ice but that's okay too lol).

This was the second smoothie was raspberries, strawberries, bananas and lactose free milk.

And the final smoothie was stawberries, bananas and lactose free milk.

I had wished for ice but I didn't have any ready for smoothies but I love how you can do so many things with this recipe, adding any fruits and any liquids you wish. The only downfall of this recipe was that the recipe only made half the cup, so you could always just double the ingredients for a fuller cup. 

I did jump a few times using the blender, it was LOUD but it was powerful, it did an amazing job at blending I found very very minimal cold chunks maybe one or two in my smoothie but you can always just blend it longer if need be. The booklet says not to blend longer than a minute for any recipe or reason, so keep that in mind.

I absolutely love my magic bullet and since I paid not even 60 bucks for it, I'm thrilled to have it and I wish I had gotten one sooner haha. I would recommend this for sure, it makes endless recipes and even grates cheeses or grinds coffee beans. 

My First Macron Review. (The Sconery)

So I admit I had never had a macron up until today, I found them overpriced at 2 bucks a piece and I was also nervous as the feedback I've gotten from other's was pretty 50/50 but I got the chance to try this Cookies n Cream macron.

It was delicious!! Each bite was so yummy and I'm glad I finally took the chance with one. I didn't LOVE it but I really did enjoy it, I don't know if I would go out of my way to buy them being as stingy as I am but if I had the cash to spend, I'd surely get one. I am looking foward to trying out other flavours but I don't know if I would be reviewing them on my blog but I was happy to finally do one for review. I rate it 4.5/5.

Compliment's. Sweet and Sour Pork Review.

I'm always a sucker for Chinese food and some sweet and sour pork. I picked this up at the grocery store to give a try but I can admit I was nervous, as mass produced westernized version of Chinese food usually fall flat but I know it would be good for review.

I was surprised with how much I liked it, the sauce and pork were both good. I just felt there wasn't much in the box but overall I would purchase it again. I rate it 4/5.
