Zachary. Orange Thin Mints Review.

I'm on and off about chocolate with orange but I always like trying new things so why not.

The first few bites were off and I thought I wouldn't like them but the more I ate, the more I liked them and I now find them pretty good. I don't know if I would buy them again but I would eat them if offered. I rate them 3/5.

Kashi Joi. Cranberry, Coconut and Almond Bar Review.

I have tried two other Kashi Joi bars (search Kashi on my blog) so I was excited to try another.

I'm indifferent about cranberries but I do like coconut and almonds. This bar though was not good, something about it tasted very lemony and it made the whole bar so bitter to me, I gave it away and I would not eat it again. I rate it 1/5 because the other ingredients weren't bad but the bitter was overpowering.

Frank, Feels Stuffed. Turkey Stuffing Chips Review.

I'm drawn in by cute and quirky packaging on food and when I saw these chips, the bag of course caught my eye and I wanted to do do them for review.

These turkey stuffing chip tastes exactly like turkey, stuffing and gravy. They aren't as good as the hot meal of course but they are addicting, I couldn't stop eating them and I didn't know why haha. I don't know if I would get them again but I'd eat them if offered. I rate them 3/5.

Grain Harvest. Apple Cinnamon Pretzel Review.

I love going to Grain Harvest, especially when they pop up at the market. This weekend I did go to the market and I normally just grab a plain pretzel, hot and delicious but this time I was thinking I'd try out an apple cinnamon one. They also have pretzel melts, kinda like pizzas that I want to review down the road as well.

So this pretzel was not good, sadly so. I hated the flavour, it tasted weirdly raw like raw apple and cinnamon flavours. I didn't even finish this pretzel, I gave it away and that's not often I don't finish something. I would not get this again and I rate it 0/5.

Chef Mark's Hakka Style Shanghai Chicken Meal Kit Review.

This meal kit caught my eye in the grocery store, I have not seen meal kits before and sure it was a little pricey at 8 bucks I felt maybe it would be worth the try.

This is all that came in the box: rice, chicken, sauce and veggies.

It was a pretty easy step by step prep and cook.

The rice was to be heated last but it came out in such a huge chunk that was hard to break up in order to heat properly. The serving of this meal was rather small it would be good for one person, not two people like I was feeding.

This was the amount I ended up with, as I mentioned I was sharing it.

I felt the flavours weren't great, I wasn't crazy about the sauce and I wanted nicer rice. I would pay extra for better rice, different sauce and a bigger portion. I want to try out the other dishes that these meal kits came in but at the same time it was a bit pricey for this small serving. I guess it is a good equivalent to a frozen meal for one for a bit more but I probably would've preferred a frozen meal to this particular dish, maybe one of the others I'd like more. I would not purchase this one again and I rate it 2.5/5 I liked the idea of it and most of the ingredients but the sauce threw it off for me, as well as the tiny serving size.

Vegan Gummy Strawberries Review.

I pop into Winner's and I always wanna grab all the snacks by the cash, this time I did impulse buy these vegan gummy strawberries.

I'm not vegan but I love food, so I'd eat vegan and non vegan foods. These are of course a very soft chew as it doesn't have gelatin in them, they taste just alright. I mean they are a good alternative to those who can't/don't eat gelatin. I don't think I would buy them again and I rate them 2.5/5 I wanted to say 3 but I couldn't.

Cafe Joy. Ham & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich and Banana Bread Review.

This was my first time at Cafe Joy, I have passed it a few times but never went in. I needed somewhere to stop for lunch and it caught my eye as I passed it again haha.

I ordered the ham and cheese breakfast sandwich and a piece of banana bread. I was offered my banana bread to be warmed but I took it to go.

The sandwich was handmade and made with love, it was DELICIOUS! This was the best ham and cheese sandwich I've ever had! I sat in the cafe to eat it and it was just a lovely experience, as the staff  there were also so kind to me. I would def get the sandwich again, I rate it 5/5.

The banana bread was a little cold in temp as it was served chilled. The crust I wasn't crazy about but the rest of the bread was really good. It's not the best banana bread I've had but it was a good one for sure, I would consider getting it again if I'm craving some banana bread when I'm there next and I rate it 4/5.
