I have done two other Select Choice bars (search them on my blog) and this one is oat and raisin.
I rather liked this granola bar, the flavour was pretty good overall especially for 1.25, for this price as this surprising turn-out it's great. I just wish it had more raisins. I'd get it again and I rate it 4.5/5.
I got the chance to try out these monster cookies, I had been craving monster cookies lately so it was pure coincidence they were there when I turned around haha. They had some bites I didn't love but overall I was pretty happy with them. The cookie part was probably where the issue lied but the pieces were good and chocolatey. I rate them 3.5/5.
I picked up this knock-off Beefaroni at the dollar store for 1.25 and I thought I'd try it out for review.
I had to spoon out almost half a cup of liquid it was gross, it was so soupy and even with that much removed I could've removed more (as you can see in the photo). The flavour of the dish was pretty close to the Beefaroni but less flavourful in the meat and likely "watered down" with how liquidy it was. I would eat it again if if I was on a budget and needed the cheapest alternative but I would drain more liquid from the dish. I rate it 3/5.
I am not one for calzones or panzerottis but I thought I'd try this out for review.
This came with two calzones and two marinara sauces. The box says grande calzone but these are only the size of my hand, I though don't know why I'm surprised because of the size of the box but I was surprised. The calzone itsself wasn't great, it tasted as you'd suspect a frozen food to taste but the marinara sauce was delicious and nicely spiced. I will stick to my other handheld foods like Pizza Pops. I think this needed more meat though and I always hate the dry empty ends of a calzone.
Again I loved the marinara sauce and I wish I could buy this on its own. I rate it 5/5 but I just wish there was more of it. The calzone itself I didn't care much for as I mentioned and I rate it 2.5/5 it's not really THAT bad but I didn't wanna give it a 3.
I picked these instant noodles up at the dollar store, they came in a pack of 4 for 1.25. I tried both drained and undrained to see what it would be like.
These noodles are awful, they are the second worst instant noodles I've ever had. I can't explain what it tastes like but not beef that's for sure. I felt drained they were a weirder texture but the flavour was better. undrained and the broth was the worst part. I don't know how they make and sell something this bad, again I understand it's cheap food but why didn't a single person try this?! The noodles smell good when cooking but otherwise, BAD. I would not buy them again and only eat if I was starving. I rate them 0/5.

This lacked so much, the flavour was just alright almost bland and there were barely any chocolate chips, as you can see in the photo. I'd eat them again if I needed or was offered but I wouldn't really say I enjoyed them, I rate it 3/5 it's a bit high but I didn't wanna say 2.5.
I picked up these spicy dill pickle chips from Bulk Barn I think. These are new york spicy dill pickle chips.
I did not find them spicy but they were really good. The amount of dill was perfect, as most chips got too much dill going on with their chips and you end up coughing but these were great flavour wise and the crunch was nice. I would consider getting them again if I'm in the mood for a more kicked up dill pickle chip. I rate them 4/5.
