Eve's Secret Garden. Product and Website Review.

 

I was contacted on Instagram by another company, I've done a few collabs in my time and they are always a gamble but after checking out the website and pages of this one I wanted to try it out. If it goes well it goes well, if it doesn't it makes for a good review.

This was the first message I got from the company:

It was odd they didn't have a size chart and no option to pick size of bottoms, as well as cup size only being M or L, I have a C cup so I thought I'd get the Large just in case, because the photo shows a really small top and I'm hoping the model is wearing the small top.

Then they followed up with a coupon code for me:

Their website states processing takes 5-7 days and then shipping takes 15-35 days. I made my purchase January 4th 2021.

This was their further instruction:

I didn't opt to do their new discount program as I didn't want to do the work, I just wanted to follow the first instruction of tagging them in my bio and attaching my link and code.

Today is now January 28th 2022 and the item has arrived. 

This is what I received:

I am stumped because the flat item photo shows the panty flower on the front but the woman is wearing them backwards in the photo, I tried them on both ways and if you follow the flat photo your whole vagina is OUT and they look better "backwards" as the model showed but these panties nonetheless, do not fit me, I wear a medium in regular underwear and these fit small, they are pinching and squeezing me in the hip and inner thigh and groin area, not a large in any way. The Garter belt just fits my waist but that's the only part of this outfit that actually fits, as the top is also small, I have a C cup breast and these don't fit a C cup breast, it looks bad on me.

BUT I want to say it's really cute, the design and style is nice but you will not fit into it if you are anything more than a small framed person. If you wear more than a small panty and have a C cup or more, this will NOT fit you. Overall I am not thrilled about this website, they don't have a size chart and they are not size inclusive, they don't even fit me and I don't often have that issue shopping. The item I rate 3/5. and the shopping experience a 2.5/5. I would not do business with them again but if you are very small in body size, then MAYBE for you but they are extremely overpriced even with my coupon code and not worth the price. I contacted them again on Instagram today and we will see how long it takes for them to respond and what they will say.

She has currently left me on read and we will see what she says, IF she says anything. I will only wait so long, if I do not hear back from her by Monday I will be posting my review as is. 

Update: it's Monday, In my last message I explained to her my measurements and prior about their lack of size chart, she had nothing further to say. She was quick to dismiss the items not fitting me as hearing from her other clients. Honestly, I'm bigger than all of her models yes but they should be more size inclusive because I'm not even a plus size woman, which I know many companies don't accompany either but I'm in the middle and this website is not for me, I learned this the hard way.

McGregor's. Dark Chocolate Acai and Blueberry Candy Review.

I've done two reviews of this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm doing the dark chocolate acai and blueberry candy.

It tastes like coffee and licorice flavour but not black licorice. I'm not keen on it but it's not the worst, I wouldn't get it again though and I rate it 2/5.

McGregor's. My Toffee. Strawberry Chocolate Toffee Review.

I have done one other candy review from this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the strawberry toffee, I also have another review from this brand coming up soon.

These have very little flavour, even the filling and the weird chewy texture is bad. These feel stale but they aren't. I wouldn't get them again and I didn't even finish the bag, I don't like them and I rate them .5/5, I get what was supposed to happen here and I didn't hate them but they were bad.

La Molisana. Rotelle Pasta Review.

I just did a review for this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm doing the Rotelle pasta, it is not gluten free like the last one I did.

This nostalgic wheel pasta is great with all types of sauces, from cream sauces, to red sauces to even light oil based sauces. I don't love this pasta as I aged, though kid me loved it but it's still a good pasta and I rate it 4/5.

La Molisana. Mafalda Corta Pasta Review.

I've done a couple reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and this time I'm doing the Mafalda Corta they look like mini lasagna noodles. Stay tuned for another pasta review coming soon. Note this is not gluten free, like the two other reviews I've done.

This pasta makes for a great "lazy lasagna" kinda recipe, good with a nice rich seasoned tomato sauce, seasoned beef and veggies, you could turn it into a stew/soup like recipe or just a regular pasta dish. I love this pasta and I rate it 4.5/5.

Vincenzo's. Fuzzy Peach Macron Review.

 

This was my second review of this store but I've done quite a few macron reviews (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying out the fuzzy peach one.

This flavour was delicious, it tasted just like fuzzy peach candy, I'd buy 1000 of these! I rate it 5/5.

Sam's Grill. Beef and Onion Poutine Review.

 

This is my first review from this restaurant but I've done quite a few poutine reviews (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying a beef and onion poutine.

It wasn't too bad, the beef needed spices, other than that it wasn't bad. The fries were nice and the gravy was nice as well, the onions of course were just onions. I wished this had green peppers on it as well, would've went nice with the onions and beef. I don't think I'd get it again and I rate it 3/5.

Chungchun Rice Dog. Korean Corn Dogs Review.

 

I've been eyeing Korean corndogs for years, watching others on Youtube try them out. I ordered 3, regretfully not getting a plain hot dog one. I ordered hot dog with potato topping, just cheese and chocolate with cinnamon sugar topping.

This is the hot dog one with potato topping, it was not great to eat texture wise but flavour was pretty good, I'd eat this one again if offered but I don't think I'd buy it again, as again I wanted to also try the plain hot dog one but oh well, maybe next time but this one I rate 3.5/5.

This is the cheese one, it was not hot at this point which makes it easier to eat but it still was almost a choking hazard haha but flavour-wise this was nice, if you don't choke on cheese I think this one is great for you but I don't know if I'd risk it again personally but I rate it 4/5.

Lastly this is the chocolate one, it was DIVINE! One of the greatest desserts I have ever eaten. I would recommend this one, with the cinnamon sugar topping. I would buy it again and again and again and I rate it 5/5.

I had been eyeing my dream shoes for a little while now, I kept looking at them in Facebook ads and I kept opening them and gushing on the website.

I decided just to go for it! I deserve my dream shoes!

These are the shoes:

I measured my foot and the chart says I'm a 6.5 but I have wider feet and bigger toes than the average woman, so I went with the size 7, they may or may not fit but honestly will I wear these gorgeous shoes? They are more of a collectible.

I was given a code for 10 bucks off my purchase but Honey had a coupon for 26 bucks off my purchase, so you know which one I went for haha!

I bought them January 4th 2022, they shipped out January 7th 2022 and they said shipping would take 5-7 business days.

Today is now January 21st 2022 and the shoes have arrived!

These are the shoes:

My feet are too wide (more on the one foot than the other) and my toes are very uncomfortable almost painful in the shoe, even without the socks. (I am not comfortable showing my bare feet though haha.) I probably should've sized up to the 7.5, which is a whole size bigger than their chart said I was. I've never worn heels comfortably, they don't usually accompany my wide feet BUT my feet aren't as wide as most people who wear special wide shoes, I'm in-between haha.

I love the design and feel they are gorgeous and so very soft, I loved them more seeing them online than seeing them in the box. They always make them look nicer online haha but a lot of online shopping ends up like this BUT I still love them and I rate them 4/5.

The shopping experience was quick, easy and I didn't have to pay any further fees, I am happy for that but I'm not sure if I would shop with them again as their size chart doesn't match with the size I would've needed (when they suggested via chart that I'm 6.5) But I'm glad I sized up .5. I wonder how it would've fit with the 7.5 but if I followed their chart their is no way I would've fit in the 6.5. Shopping online for shoes isn't really that fun haha, I rate the experience a 3.5/5, I'd like shoes for wider feet and probably a better a better size chart.

Retro Stage. Clothing and Website Review.

 

I have actually purchased from this company before but I failed to do a review, so I am doing a review for you now. The dress I bought before I really like, so I wanted to do it again.

I had stumbled upon this dress and it was instantly a dream, I wanted it so bad but I couldn't justify the price but once black Friday came around I thought I'd just go for it, despite it still be rather costly.

I placed my order today Novemeber 27th 2021.

The shoulders and back are mesh with butterflies on it, it's gorgeous and the shape is really nice.

With the help of the Honey extension I got a coupon for almost 9 bucks.

Today is January 21sst 2022 and the dress has arrived.

I am not happy, the design is gorgeous but it was poorly done and the material is bad. I had to fight into this dress, my hips were too big yet I've never needed more than an XL before in what I thought was a US size, especially because it was a bit ill fitting and baggy in the rest of the dress, so it would've looked even worse sized up. ALSO the buttons at the back were poorly made and inconsistent, unable to be done up fully, only one could be done up, I am not happy.

I have another dress coming from them, that I purchased shortly after this one, it seems this site is hit or miss, like an expensive Wish or Aliexpress, where you're not sure what kind of quality you're getting each purchase. I can only hope the other one turns out.

This dress was a flop, not the worst I've bought online from a website but it was not worth the price, not even close because I'd not even pay 15 bucks for this. I rate the dress 3/5 and the experience 3/5, they are sorely overpriced and took two months to arrive, which isn't bad but not worth it for how this went. If I could sew I'd make myself this dress again but better fitting, better quality and in a nicer material, as this one was similar to wind-breaker material.

I will give an update on how the last dress goes when it arrives, I hope for better results like I got the first dress I purchased.

Update: the third dress arrived, it's a nicer shape on my body size wise, quality and feel than the one I reviewed, it's a good purchase like the first dress I bought from them, so 2 out of 3 dresses being a hit is pretty good. So I'd say it's a gamble on this site but they are overpriced so it may not be worth it unless you see something on their site that you REALLY want.

Dairy Queen. Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Blizzard Review.

 

I rarely order a Blizzard other than Smarties but this time I'm trying the chocolate dipped strawberry Blizzard. I have done quite a few Dairy Queen reviews (search them on my blog).

This is nice, tastes just like a chocolate covered strawberry of course. There giant pieces of strawbery, strawberry ice cream and chocolate pieces. I'm not crazy about the chocolate but I'm not usually crazy about the choice in chocolate for the real ones either. Overall a nice ice cream and I rate it 4/5.

Mike's Hard Peach Fuzz Vodka Drink Review.

 

I've had two of these and one was bitter and not nice but the second one was smooth, both taste like fuzzy peaches. If you get a good sweet one that's not vodka heavy and tart, its nice actually. I would get them again and I rate them 4/5.
