The Bingsu. Strawberry Bingsu Review.

I've been to this restaurant once before (search it on my blog) and today I'm doing a review for the strawberry bingsu.

For those that haven't heard of bingsu, it's a Korean shaved "ice" dessert made of a frozen block of milk or cream that they grate finely and they become what they call "snowflakes". The texture is like very fine snow, when spooned it's like ice cream. Today I ordered the strawberry one, this is made with "snowflakes" and condensed milk and topped with strawberries, almond slices, strawberry sauce and ice cream.

It's delicious, each bite was so good! I have to say, if I hadn't prior but bingsu is very cold, often I would be shocked with chill and had brain freeze a few times, much colder than regular desserts. I would get it again for sure and I rate it 5/5.

Note: the previous trip they were selling regular and large servings, last time we ordered the large and it was a lot of food even for two people, we barely finished it and left feeling so full and sick haha. This time they changed their menu to cup and regular servings, phasing out the large serving. The large serving was perfect for two people and we were left full but content, not sick this time.

Harvey's. Blue Raspberry Frozen Red Bull Review.

I have tried the peach frozen red bull (search it on my blog) and today I'm reviewing the blue raspberry frozen red bull.

I was hoping to like this flavour despite blue raspberry flavours being normally hit or miss but it was very tart and not as good as the peach one. I wouldn't get it again and I rate it 2.5/5.

Dairy Queen. Poolside Punch Twisty Misty Drink Review.

I have done quite a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm doing an experiment with the summer limited edition Poolside Punch twisty misty.

I went 3 times out for this drink, the photos above are in order of which one I got when and mind you each one is from a different location, so I visited 3 locations for this review.

Drink one was my first time trying this drink, it was DELICIOUS. This tastes like candy and I loved it.  I rate it 5/5.

Drink two was different looking and tasting, still like candy but it was not as good, overall not bad but I was disappointed compared. I rate it 3/5.

Drink three was also delicious, not quite as good as the first time but overall still really good and had that iconic candy flavour. I rate it 4/5.

I've been told it's only a summer drink but I want it forever haha! So I found each location does it a bit different, maybe I'll run to grab the first one again before the summer is over.

Leclerc. Celebration. Strawberry and Creme Truffle Butter Cookie Review.

I just did a review of this brand and type of cookie (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the celebration cookie in the limited edition strawberry and cream flavour.

The cookie again is rich and overall tastes good with the chocolate and cookie but the strawberry cream is just okay. It's not as good as the raspberry in my opinion but not too bad. Again I can only eat one or two of these with how rich they are so I wouldn't buy them again but I rate them 3/5.

Leclerc. Celebration. Raspberry Truffle Butter Cookie Review.

Oddly enough I haven't had a Celebration cookie since I was a child. I wanted to try this one for review, they have a few flavours and this one is raspberry truffle. I've done quite a few reviews on this brand (search them on my blog).

These are rich, pretty tasty and the raspberry is lovely. The cookie is indeed buttery and the milk chocolate is nice. I could eat one or two but a whole box is too much and too rich for me but overall a good cookie and I rate them 3.5/5. I have another one to review next, stay tuned..

Love Child. Love Ducks. Cheese and Herb Corn Snack Review.

Yes I picked up these snacks because they are duck shaped haha, they are o cute and I wanted to try them for review.

These could be so much nicer but sadly they are not. The texture is a little off and the flavour is very muted with no cheese and a tiny bit of herb but otherwise they are very cute. I wouldn't eat them again and I rate them 2.5/5.

Stuffies Pastries. Sweet and Savoury Cro-Tai and Stuffies Pastry Review.

This little bakery sells animal themed treats, I was excited to try them for review. These fish shaped pastries are called cro-tai and the little bear and fish pastries coming up are called stuffies.

This first one above is smoked beef. It's a croissant style pastry filled with beef and cheese. The pastry itself was soft and didn't taste too bad, cheese was GREAT and stringy but the beef was just alright, I would've been happier with just cheese. This one wasn't too bad honestly and I rate it 3/5.

This one is cinnamon, the filling was not at all what I had expected, I wasn't sure what I thought I'd be getting but this was interesting. The taste of the filling was good but the texture was AWFUL, I couldn't eat it. It's very soft and squishy and I wouldn't get it again, I rate it 2/5.

This bear stuffie is filled with vanilla "cream", it was thin and barely filled, the taste was alright. This pastry is like a pancake meets a pound cake and it's a bit too thick and dry. I wouldn't get it again and I rate it 2/5.

This fish shaped stuffie is filled with strawberry jam and the jam was just alright a bit better filled than the previous one but overall not great and again this pastry was too thick and dry. I wouldn't get it again and I rate it a 1.5/5.

We got two cro-tai and a pack of 8 stuffies. Each croi-tai was 7.55 and the bag of 8 stuffies was 6.95. This place was more for the aesthetic than the flavour, I'm disappointed but still made for a good review. Note: they also have cute packaging haha.
