Candy Creations. Gummy Mermaids Review.

I have done a review from this brand before (search it on my blog) and this time I'm doing gummy mermaids.

These are a lot firmer than most gummies, they are like a jujube and lack flavour but the flavours are not too nice anyway, I wouldn't get them again and I rate them 2/5.

Tim Hortons. Smoked Sausage Country Wrap Review.

There was supposed to be potato wedges in this wrap but I didn't realize till now but the "sausages" were alright I say "sausages" because they are more like hotdogs but overall a pretty good wrap for 4 bucks and I don't think I'd like it much with the wedges if they had put them in. I'd consider getting it again and I rate it 3.5/5.

Chicago American. White Cheddar Popcorn Review.

There are two cheeses in this popcorn but I don't really taste two but they don't taste too bad. I find that something is off but I'm not sure what. I'd eat them again but I don't think I'd buy them again, I rate them 3/5.

Girls' Night Out. Strawberry Samba Wine Review.

I wanted to try some wines from this brand so I have picked up (I'm going to review the other flavour I picked up) this one is the strawberry samba, it's strawberry watermelon.

Honestly, it tastes awful, I'm not even a wine drinker why am I here?! LOL! I wouldn't get it again and I hate it, I rate it 0/5.

Annie's. Organic All Stars Canned Pasta Review.

I was looking for canned pasta and I came across this Annie's canned pasta, this is organic. This is a can of star shaped pasta with cheese and tomato sauce. 

I always find canned pasta has too much liquid and this product is the same. Overall it tastes alright could use spices but for organic it's pretty good. I'd consider getting it again but I wouldn't often reach for it, I rate it 3/5.

Mel's Diner. Chicken Tenders, Fries and Minestrone Soup Review.

I have done 3 other Mel's Diner reviews (check them on my blog) and this time I'm doing chicken tenders, fries and minestrone soup.

First I had the chicken tenders, they were so crispy, so crunchy and delicious. I loved how they tasted and their perfect breading, I would get them again for sure and I rate them 5/5.

Next I had the fries, I didn't love the weird coating on them but flavourwise they were good, I would consider getting them again and I rate them 3.5/5.

Lastly I had the minestrone soup, more like "soup". This didn't look or taste like a soup, it was like a canned pasta kinda vibe, it tasted alright but was no soup, I would consider it again but I don't think I'd often go for it, I rate it 3/5.

Knotty Knickers. Underwear Subscription Review.

I stumbled upon this brand many times in ads on Facebook, they have unedited models with different bodies and lifestyles, these women sport their differences in weight, race and show off "imperfections" that the media usually hides, these ads always catch my eye. 

I was in the market for more underwear, mine had seemed to be disappearing and I normally purchase from another company but I found this company rarely has a sale and their products cost more than I'd like to pay.

Knotty knickers offers 3.99 to 8.99 packages depending on how many pairs you're looking to purchase. You will receive these each month (or each two months) and will be billed from the date of purchase and they accept multiple methods of payment.

I went to make an order with them July 25th 2020, I had multiple questions about ordering and sizing and with a message to them on Facebook, I got a response in minutes and had all my questions answered; I was very happy with their customer service.

I selected the 8.99 no thongs package, I would receive 3 pairs each month and with 2 dollar shipping and almost 2 dollar tax, my total was 12 dollars and some change. I was so pleased by how inexpensive they were as the other brand I mentioned would charge that price for a single pair, without taxes or shipping.

I was told on my order form that I would get my package between August 5th and August 10th and I got my package exactly August 10th, I was pleasantly surprised.

I got three pairs just like I paid for and they came in these RECYCLABLE bags, I'm so happy they aren't to just be tossed away.

The first pair is this black see-through polka dotted pair:

The second pair is a purple corset pair (sorry lighting here is bad so the colour doesn't appear as the first photo):

Third pair are these blue and white tie-dye pair:

I was on their chart both a small and a large so upon asking for assistance they told me to go with medium, my usual underwear size and these fit like a glove. For reference I'm 130lbs with 40 inch hips.

I am very happy with my first package and I am looking forward to next month when I get more. I am overall very pleased with Knotty Knickers and I am looking forward to it again. I loved their customer service and their affordable prices, their product is great quality and worth the time waited and money spent. I rate them 5/5.

Update: Some reviews have stated they were unable to cancel their subscription or are charged even after cancelling their subscription, when the time comes that I cancel I will let you guys know what happens, if any of you are being charged wrongfully please contact your bank and have it blocked and labelled fraudulent. 

Update: Today is January 11th 2024. I've cancelled my subscription, I had been sitting on cancelling for a month now, as I've ran out of room but today I also got a pack of all repeats, so it's safe to say they have almost 4 years worth of products for the no thong package, I had once or twice prior gotten a repeat pair, I  had been donating them among any other pairs I didn't like (I donated them in the package). Here is my cancellation proof and confirmation emails:

I will make another update February 1st, to let you know if it has been actually cancelled and if they have taken any money from me wrongfully or not.

It's now February 1st and I was not charged, the subscription has in fact been cancelled.

Little Caesars. Cheesy Stuffed Crazy Bread Review.

I love crazy bread already so I had to try the cheese stuffed crazy bread for review.

Cheese is exactly what this needed, it was delicious and I think it would be even further elevated if you dip it in marinara sauce! I am certainly getting these again and I'm rating them 4.5/5.

Thai Express. Beef and Chicken Pad Thai Review.

When ordering from Thai express I have only ordered the stirfry but this time I'm trying the Pad Thai.

I enjoyed the Pad Thai, the level of spicy I chose (medium) was pretty good for me and overall was a tasty dish. I'd order it again and I rate it 4/5.

I have also had the chicken pad Thai and I prefer it with chicken, I don't have a photo of it but it's nice and I'd rather it next time I order this dish and I rate it 4/5/5.

Real Fruit Bubble Tea. Mango Diamond Slush Review.

This is my first time at this place and I ordered the mango diamond slush with mango jelly, this has been hands down the best I've ever had, I would surely order it again (I have a second time following this review) but I'm open to trying other things on their menu. I rate it 5/5.

Presto! Fusilli Pesto Pasta Review.

This is a dollar store brand similar to Sidekicks, which also is a packaged pasta dish. I found with Sidekicks they take 10-15 minutes instead of the 7 on the package AND this pasta was no exception, taking 10 minutes instead of 8.

This pasta screams dollar store which makes sense. It smells not great but tastes better than it smells but the taste went from not bad to bad, it's food to eat if you're starving but I wouldn't get it again, I rate it 2/5.

Campbell's. Healthy Request. Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup Review.

I have had many Campbell's soups but this one to me is new, I have learned so much with this soup.

Orzo is my least favourite pasta and I figured that out of today this soup is not for me, I didn't like most of it but the chicken was good just not enough pieces. It was overall too lemony and not good, I wouldn't get it again and I rate it 2/5.

Mel's Diner. Breakfast Burrito Review.

This burrito is thick, packed with lots of things, I'm just sad my salsa never came cause this burrito was kinda dry but not bad taste wise, I'd consider it again if the salsa came with it or if I added a chipotle sauce, I rate it 3.5/5.

Korner Kitchen. Chicken Fried Steak, Eggs, Bacon and Hashbrowns Review.

This is my first time ordering from Korner Kitchen. I ordered chicken fried steak, eggs, bacon and hashbrowns.

The chicken fried steak is a good size for breakfast, the gravy was very bacony but tasted good and the meat itself was pretty good, I had heard their meat wasn't great but I was surprised and happy. I rate the gravy 3.5/5 and the chicken 4/5.

The bacon is almost too crispy but still tasted good, the hashbrowns shredded are my least favourite type of hashbrowns as they are harder to pick up and eat but they tasted fine and the eggs were just eggs. I rate the bacon 4.5/5, the eggs 3.5/5 and the hashbrowns 3.5/5. (There was a sauce with the eggs and hashbrowns but I don't know what it was, I was too scared to try it haha, it certainly wasn't gravy.

Bar Burrito. Soft Tacos Review.

I was in the mood for tacos but Taco Bell doesn't deliver to me, I don't think. This is my first time having Bar Burrito. I ordered 3 soft tacos, they aren't too bad but still a nice try for review. I didn't know what burrito sauce was but I think it was pretty good, it would've been nicer if I got a chipotle sauce instead. I got the usual toppings with the new addition of corn, I could take it or leave it on my tacos. I would consider eating them again if offered but I don't think I'd go out of my way to buy them and I rate them 3/5.

Sweet Shoppe. Makarena Watermelon Jellies Review.

These are the worst gummy/jelly candies I have ever eaten, they were so gross like mouthwash mixed with water and sugar. Honestly I didn't have another bite and I tossed them quick, I hate them so much and would never buy them again, I rate them 0/5.

Freshii. Chicken Vegetable Soup and Strawberry Banana Smoothie Review.

This is my first time ordering from Freshii they have healthier alternatives to "fast food", kinda like Starbucks or Coffee Culture or Tim Hortons kinda foods.

I ordered a soup that I customized myself. I don't remember all I got in the soup but you can get an idea about it in the photos. I got chicken,various vegetables and some noodles I believe are rice noodles if I recall.

The soup serving was worth the price but flavour-wise it was not, it was a pricey soup and it lacked a lot of flavour and salt, it was like a soup I'd throw together when I don't really know about cooking from scratch LOL! I don't think I'd order another soup but you do get a free container which rocks, I rate the soup 2.5/5.

 The smoothie was good, similar to a McDonald's smoothie but this one was overpriced for a small, I wouldn't get it again based on price alone and I rate it 3/5.

Orange Cream Pop Twizzlers Review.

These smell is like my childhood favourite alcohol but the texture is too soft and weird and the flavour isn't that good either, especially the filling. So overall I hate them and I wouldn't get them again and I rate them 0/5.
