Bolthouse Farms. C Boost Smoothie Review.

 

I have done one other review from this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the C Boost smoothie.

This smoothie has various fruits: mango, pears, apples and acerola cherries. I was excited to try this one as I love all these fruits, minus the cherries as I've never had this kind before and I'm not a fan of regular cherries but I wanted to try it anyway.

It's delicious! I don't like love it but I do really really like it! I think it's mostly pear, cherry and mango but I'm not upset at all. I'd grab it again for sure and I rate it 4.5/5.

Note: I haven't done a review on the strawberry banana smoothie, yet I've been drinking it for many years. I just never got around to doing one and thought maybe 7+ years late is too late BUT I want to do one anyway, stay tuned for that one and one other I have on the way.

FragranceNet. Only The Brave by Diesel Cologne. Product and Website Review.

 

I've been on the hunt for perfumes and colognes, I had two people recommend this website to me, I also was looking for recommendations on perfumes and colognes.

I was told to check out Only The Brave by Diesel. So I checked it out the site, today they were doing a sale, where I got a coupon.

I'm not a cologne person usually but I love colognes haha and I'm sometimes stingy on prices but this one has great reviews and my friend said it's awesome! I of course couldn't commit to a bigger size than the travel bottle, so I just went with the travel bottle.

I'm glad I did this now, the sale ends today. I placed my order August 8th 2022. I'm kinda bummed I don't get the really cool bottle but I didn't buy a big enough bottle haha. If I love this cologne enough I can buy this at a local Shoppers Drug Mart, I didn't just do that now because again I didn't want to commit to a big bottle and this store doesn't do travel sizes.

Today is now August 16th, my cologne has arrived.

In the box came a sample of another cologne and the one I purchased:

This is the sample scent, it screams middle aged man at church; not too bad but a very grown up scent and I rate it 3/5.

Here is the Diesel scent I bought, bigger bottle than I thought I was getting haha nice. I think it screams 19 year old male who's trying to impress the ladies, so he puts on an old man kinda musky scent. This scent reminds me of an ex lover of mine from my teen years, who looked kinda like Vanilla Ice. So if you can imagine what that smells like, you'll get a gist of this cologne. It's not a bad cologne, the more I smell it it grows on me haha and I rate it 3.5/5.

Overall I had a good experience with this website, it was great with a coupon and the shipping felt quick to me and I was overall happy with my shopping experience. I think this website works best for products that you already know you love and want at a cheaper price than what most retailers are selling the product for. I would consider shopping with them again and I rate them 5/5.

Dr. Oetker. Deluxe Pizza Review.

I've done quite a few reviews on this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm doing the deluxe pizza.

I love the array of toppings and kinds of toppings and the crunch of the veggies. The flavours are nice with a pretty good crust, this overall is a really nice pizza. I'm normally a lover of deulxe pizzas already, so I'm not surprised I enjoyed this one. I'd get it again and I rate it 4/5.

Ice Cream 2. Fruit Parfait Review.

 

My last review was from this restaurant (check it out on my blog) and today I'm trying a fruit parfait.

This parfait has soft serve (can become dairy free with a sub of dole whip), strawberries, bananas, blueberries, strawberry sauce and granola.

This parfait was really good. The soft serve was great, so were the fruits and sauce and I loved the addition of granola but I just thought it needed more granola; though there may have been if I got a larger size parfait but my stomach couldn't handle that haha. I would've preferred yogurt to the soft serve but it was not an option. I'd get it again and I rate it 4.5/5.

Ice Cream 2. Mango Dole Whip Dessert Review.

 

I have been to this ice cream place once before many years ago but I never reviewed the ice cream on my blog. Today I'm trying the dole whip. This dessert is most commonly made with mango, ice cream and sugar but you can make it vegan with different ice cream that's dairy free. This particular dole whip is labelled as dairy free, so it's a great alternative to a dairy free diet for vegans or those with dairy/lactose intolerances and allergies.

It's very mango forward of course but overall pretty good, though it gives a lot of brain freeze. To describe this dessert, the texture is if soft serve and sorbet had a baby. I'd eat it again but I'm not sure I'd buy it again but I rate it 3.5/5.

Red Bull. The Summer Edition. Apricot Strawberry Review.

I've not done many reviews for this brand (search them on my blog) but today I'm trying the apricot strawberry flavour. Note I have done a summer version before that was a dragon fruit flavour, this year it's different.

At first this was delicious and smelled lovely but it was quick to change in taste, it was gross quick. To describe the initial taste it was fruity and sweet, a lot of fruits and candy, the after taste was something so odd, I can't describe it but it was off. I'm sad it didn't turn out but still was fine to try for review. I wouldn't get it again and I rate it 1.5/5.

Magnum. Strawberries and Cream Ice Cream Bar Review.

 

This is my first Magnum bar, I haven't had any thus far because most of them are very chocolate heavy and I'm picky about chocolate but I saw this strawberries and cream bar and I was excited to try it for review.

The ice cream is divine, very flavourful and lovely texture. The white chocolate shell though I wasn't too keen on but I knew this going into it, as I'm not a fan much of white chocolate. If this bar had a milk chocolate shell that would've been the best! I would eat this again though but I don't know if I'd buy myself one again and I rate it 3.5/5, I wanted to say a 4 so bad but the white chocolate makes up for so much of this bar but just know I was leaning heavy to a 4.
