Lucky Charms Treats Bar Review.

This is the lucky charms bar, I tried the cinnamon toast crunch one (search for it on my blog) and to be honest I didn't like either that much but this one I did like more. The flavour was fine but it was like a stale and mediocre rice krispy square. I woudn't get them again. I rate them 2.5/5.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bars Review.

My sister let me try one. I am a lover of the cinnamon toast crunch cereal so I was excited to try the bar. Well I didn't like it too much, it's not like the cereal to me. I don't like the icing bottom, it's too cinnamony and not in a good way. The rest of it was just okay, I wasn't feel it. I don't think I would eat them again. I rate them 2/5.

Covered Bridge. Cream Dill Pickle Chips Review.

I was in the mood for chips and I dropped by the dollar store and snatched these up. I have of course never had them before and wanted to review them for you guys. The dill pickle flavour was just right, it wasn't too powerful like it often is with dill pickle chips haha. I did feel their texture though was a bit stale, I'm unsure how often the dollar store re-stocks these shelves haha. I would consider them again but I wouldn't likely go with them, there are many other ones I prefer. I rate them 3/5.

Slices. Chicken Noodle Soup and Pork Schnitzel Review.

I haven't been in Slices in so long, last time I went I was young and I went with my grandmother. I miss her so much (Rest in peace Nanie). She would often comment on how little noodles were in the soup. Their soup has changed over the years and this is what I got now. I decided to get gravy on my schnitzel, by the lady's reaction that's not common or that's considered weird. I don't like sauerkraut it's gross as all hell lol.

The soup was alright, I'm not crazy about it but it looked great. I missed the soup they used to have, this time though the noodles weren't the issue. The flavour overall was just meh, I don't know if I would get it again. I rate it 2.5/5. I would've given it a 3 but there's not much about it I did like to be honest.

The crackers were awful, they were literally flavourless saltless pieces of paper almost. I hated them, as they didn't have flavour but they somehow still tasted stale and bad. I rate them 1/5.

The gravy was fine, it was rather runny and I'm a lover of gravy so I know how I like my gravies. This tasted alright, didn't have much distinct flavour to it. I rate it 3/5.

The schnitzel was good but the breading I wasn't crazy about. I have had a few in my time but this one was my least favourite. I don't know if I would get it again, maybe if I had a craving for it and I happened to be near. I rate it 3.5/5.

The Creme Shop. Moisturizing Hyaluronic Acid Animated Face Mask Review.

So my sister picked up some of these masks, this one is a hyaluronic acid mask in a penguin print. These instructions were very easy to follow and no need for a rinse afterwards.

So I washed my face before application.

Then I applied the mask.

It was burning my face, it was also ice cold. You can put them in the fridge for a cooling effect BUT you don't need it, it's already freezing cold upon applying. I was nervous for my eyebrows that they were going to burn off haha. I set the timer for 15 minutes.

I then removed the masked and you don't need to rinse but it's still really wet on your face.

I rubbed it into my face, especially for my eyebrows, chin and forehead that were the most soaked. Upon rubbing it all in my eyebrows were still burning but it didn't help that I had a headache prior to starting the application. My skin feels smooth in some spots but still dry in other spots. I guess when you apply it, you should push it down in all spots.

Overall I feel refreshed but the experience was uncomfortable and I am unsure if I would do them again. My sister also picked up other ones in a unicorn print, she tried them out this time and said they didn't have the acid in them. I am looking forward to trying those out and she can try these ones. I'm sure it'll be a fun experience haha. I rate them a 3.5/5. I really liked them and I feel refreshed BUT the experience overall could've been better BUT they also are acid, what do you expect?

El Monterey. Egg, Sausage, Cheese & Potato Breakfast Wrap Review.

This is the last El Monterey breakfast wrap sold where I am. I'm unsure if they sell other flavours but this is it (search for the others on my blog by searching el monterey) and this one is I think like the previous one just with potato...I think that's the difference, tbh I'm too lazy to go and take a look.

This one was good, not as good as the other two but it was still good. I am not loving the addition of potato. It was mostly tortilla too, a lot of my first few bites were empty haha. I wouldn't buy this one again unless I was craving a breakfast wrap and these were the only ones they had left haha. I rate them one 3/5. It was just okay.

Suraj. Mango Exotic Juice Drink Review.

Thin and certainly a juice and not so much a nectar like I for some reason thought it was haha. Well it’s good though has a weird taste to it and it’s not the greatest but for that price Im happy. Overall though I’m meh about it. I rate it 2.5/5.

Self Care Is Most Important, It's Okay To Take A Break.

Don't ever let someone make you feel bad for who you are and how you feel. Don't ever allow yourself to feel smothered by those who don't understand and don't want you to take care of yourselves first.

It's never wrong to take time to yourself, step away from the people and the social media and to take a break, take me-time. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. Do not let someone make you feel bad for not up-keeping their high maintenance friendship. If they cannot understand you don't want to talk every day or all the time especially due to mental health reasons, they can change their ways or there's the door.

Do not allow people to guilt trip you into their friendship, into their time. You take all the time you need to step away from them and others BECAUSE SELF CARE IS MOST IMPORTANT. You can care about your friends but not if they make you neglect you and smother you when you need space.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH HAVING SPACE, SPACE DOESN'T MEAN YOU HATE THEM OR DISLIKE THEM! YOU JUST LOVE YOU.

It's okay to love you. Take that break. Turn off the screen. Breathe.

Jans. Milk Chewy Candy Original Review.

I picked these up, I always like trying out new candy. THESE ARE AMAZING! I wish they were bigger in size, as it's easier to choke if it's a smaller candy. The flavour is amazing, literally as if you melted vanilla ice cream and turned it into a candy! YES YES YES! I rate then 4.5/5. I would've given them a 5 if they were bigger in size.

Campbell's Chunky Soup. Chicken & Sausage Gumbo Review.

I loved this soup! I am cutting to the chase this time! I really enjoyed this soup, I am never crazy about soups with rice but gumbo yes yes yes! It was the perfect amount of spice and kick. I wish there was more chicken and sausage in the can and I wish it was a bit thicker of a soup but YES! I loved this, I rate this 4/5. 

Rainbow Squad. Rainbow Licorice Bricks Review.

The bag and logo is adorable and the candies themselves look great but they have a weird aftertaste, they taste okay up until then but I don't care for them. I wouldn't get them again for sure, I rate them 2.5/5.

The Creme Shop. Rose Water Cleansing Towelettes Review.

I decided to try these rose water cleansing towelettes. They smell like a combo of rose petals, perfume and vinegar, it's not pleasant. I'm not exactly sure what they are supposed to do, I mean I know they cleanse but it doesn't feel or look any different, once my face is wiped and then left to dry, I don't feel clean or refreshed, just as I was before but smelling bleh.

I did though decide to take before and after pictures, they don't show anything but I thought I would anyway for the review.

I guess they do something but I'm not sure what. I don't think I would get them again and I don't recommend them unless you like the smell of flowery vinegar. I should've picked up the charcoal ones, as charcoal does work and I am using them for under-eye bags as we speak (Search my blog for revive).

After second use I find they do open the pores and clean my face nicely, I still dislike the smell but I am more confident in these wipes but I do also find while I use them or right after, my face is red and I'm unsure if it's a reaction. My face is just really sensitive to things.

The following day I find my skin a lot clearer and all my inperfections dimmed down, I am happy about it and luckily at this stage, the smell of the wipes have gone. Yay! So maybe they aren't too bad but aren't really good for last minute use, as the smell is gross and strong and you don't see any type of relief until the following day

Revive. Charcoal Under-Eye Patches Review.

I have a problem with under-eye bags or with swelling and just overall tired and redness under my eyes. I had decided to try out these under-eye patches. I have tried cucumbers and those don't do anything really haha. I will be doing three days and at the third day I will give my final review. I know not all of these products work or work magic right away but I will be doing 3 days for you guys.

Day 1:

Instructions: They were easy to follow but upon first application I put the first one on wrong hahaha! I quickly fixed it and I was good to go. The photo suggested both sides were black, the side facing out is white but cannot be removed it seemed. It doesn’t affect anything just doesn’t look just like the photo that’s all. They smell nice and clean like wet wipes.

Wait half an hour: It feels weird on my face, especially weird to my eyelashes. I tried to continue to do my work but blinking felt so odd. When the package says relax for 30 min I suggest you do that, relax and probably keep your eyes closed. I feel pressure on my face and it feels odd. I have never done something like this before besides cucumbers haha.

Upon removal: The skin is smooth and the redness has gone down a tiny bit but closer to the inner eye is still red and the under eye is still dark. I did not assume on first use it would completely rid me of my under eye bags but I like it thus far. I should have done it earlier in the day as the lighting in the before and after photos are different. It still feels like I’m wearing them, it’s odd. As my skin feels tighter in that area, more firm. I am looking forward to trying it again tomorrow.

So this last photo is my eyes about 2-3 hours after removal of the under-eye patches. It continues to reduce the puffiness and bags, I am pleased thus far. The weird feeling has gone away under the eye I physically feel smoother under eye skin. The one eye looks better than the other eye but they both look better and feel better than I had started with. I am looking forward even more now, to how tomorrow will go.

Day 2:

Here is a photo of the morning after first application.

As you can see my under-eye bags have gotten a little better, in the mirror as apposed to in a photo, it looks a lot better but a lot of the puffiness and darkness has gone. You cannot tell in the photo but I have little to no redness under-eye. I am thrilled about that. I will be testing it out for a second day this afternoon.

Day 2: 

Second application: struggled again to place them correctly, I struggled with both sides this time haha. I think after time you’ll either continue screwing up or get the hang of them. Luckily they are easy to remove and re-position. If you do it quickly. 

Set timer for 30 minutes: cold and sticky as usual. My eyes water, as I put them too close to my lash line. Oh well. This time it feels more weird to close my eyes than the first time, where keeping them open was the weird part. 

Removal: My under eye bags are almost gone. I cannot believe the difference. I still have the under eye bags in the area right under the eye but that’s likely due to me fidgeting with them and moving them around too much before the 30 minute resting period. I cannot wait for day 3. After day 3 I will rate them and tell you if I would purchase again.

Day 3:

Application: Went smoothly, I applied it properly and had no issues. They really do become easier with practice.

Wait 30 minutes: My eyelashes didn't like it, it became so uncomfortable to my lower lashes. I didn't take a photo of the application this time or the timer I set, it's the same process each time.

Removal: Well my under-eye seemingly didn't get any better, it's still red and dark. It seems two days in a row is the cut off limit. After the second day I recommend doing them just when needed. The package doesn't state how often you need to do them but from my results two days in a row is quite enough. I no longer see results and I'm kinda bummed, like I do seem a little change but not the change I was hoping for. I wanted all the redness and darkness to be gone. Oh well, they aren't magic patches but I do feel overall they did work as they should and the results overall are so pleasing. I will continue to buy them but now I know what works for my face and what doesn't so I can apply what's best for my face. It's important with any brand, to read the label; some states once a week and some don't have any specific timing. I do recommend these for sure, they are easy to apply and work well.

Here are my last before and after shots. I decided this time to go for another angle besides my usual front profile, just to capture the results from a different view.

As you can see the darkness area has shrunken but not much else has changed. I am displeased by the third and final day but as I mentioned, it's likely due to over-use or something. I am happy though with the day two results, those are what keep me on this product for the future.
