Burger's Priest. Chicken Tenders, Fries and Sauces Review.

 

I had been eyeing this restaurant for a while now, it sounded so fancy and I finally got to try it for review.

I ordered the chicken tenders with fries, ranch and gravy. 

The chicken tenders were almost burnt, they tasted burnt and had no flavour and maybe not even salt, the worst chicken tender I've had 2/5.

The fries were so salty even worse than any other fry I've had, they were mostly fry crumbs or tiny pieces, it was hard to eat and a lot of these fries tasted bad, how do you get bad fries?! 1/5.

The gravy was actually nice, it was beefy and I was surprised. Not the best gravy I've had but my hopes were low at this point so this shocked me 3.5/5.

The ranch was delicious, like restaurant quality ranch, funny how the best thing I ate was the ranch haha, 4/5.

I had someone else say their burger sucked, I forgot to order one for review for you guys but I'm now hesitant because their burgers range from 7 bucks to 12 bucks YIKES. Maybe in the future I'll do my own review of it but overall I am unhappy.

Happy Yummies. "World's Best Tasting" Gourmet Gummies. Gummy Bear Review.

I picked up this fancy big bag of gourmet gummy bears, 8 bucks for this bag which may or may not be a steal.

I will not be reviewing the whole bag for the blog post but I will be doing a bit of it. I will be picking a few to try in rounds and giving my review on each one.

A lot of the bears look alike, knowing the bag shows different types and textures. 

Green gummy bear: I think it's watermelon it's so nice! 4

Yellow gummy bear: I think it's pineapple it's subtle but nice 3.5

Red gummy bear: it tastes like a light cherry 3.5

Orange gummy bear: just orange almost like a sparkling water 3

Pink gummy bear: has a weird flavour I've had this before but I can't describe it it's almost like bubblegum but more fruity or sweet it's sickly I don't like this flavour 0

Big ombre bear: the bag says it's champagne flavour it's so gross it's fruity but a hint of something coffee haha ive never had champagne I don't like it 0

Yellow gummy bear: very fruity it's like pineapple meets lemon 3.5

Green gummy bear: apple 5 

Whiteish yellow gummy bear: pineapple meets mango 4

Clear pink gummy bear: tastes like playdough meets some kind of fruit 2 

Milkshake looking gummy bear: tastes like fruit punch and milk 1

Orange gummy bear: tastes like orange and wax 1

Yellow gummy bear: tastes like lemon medicine 1

Light green gummy bear: tastes like melon and fizzy pop 2.5

Blue gummy bear: tastes like black currant but with a bit of blue raspberry 2 

Red gummy bear: tastes like fruit punch 3

This is the last bear of the review, it was the coolest looking one in the bag. This just tasted fruity but nothing distinctive. 

Sadly I didn't see the milkshake hug bear and the mystery big bear with the cool sun glasses, the rest of the bag were plain looking, minus two swirl bears I've had before and don't like.

Overall this bag is okay......almost bad, there were only a few I really enjoyed. This is considered  "world's best tasting" LOL laughable. This is not anywhere near as good as other brands or my favourite Haribo and I rate this brand and my overall experience 2.5/5.

Fior Fiore. Penne with Basil Pesto Review.

 

I have tried two other pastas from this brand (search them on my blog) and I'm lastly doing the penne with basil pesto. If there are other types I find down the road I'll do them again but the store I went to only had these 3 pastas.

This pasta was actually pretty good, it had a nice smell of basil and was the best tasting and smelling out of the three pastas I've had. My stomach didn't like it but I did haha, I would get it again and I rate it 4/5.

Fior Fiore. Fusilli with Cheese Review.

 

I just did another review of this brand (search it on my blog) and today I'm doing the fusilli with cheese.

This pasta smelled like sweat, it was so strong and gross but was very minimal after cooking. The flavour though wasn't terrible. I wouldn't get it again and I rate it 2/5.

Fior Fiore. Spicy Penne Arrabbiata Pasta Review.

This packet of pasta and sauce was only a dollar at Walmart, I had never had this brand before, so I picked up three types of pasta (stay tuned for the reviews) and this one is spicy penne arrabbiata.

This pasta on its own was so very odd and bland even with a hint of spice, it was sad to me. I don't think I'd get it again and I rate it 2.5/5.

I spiced it up today with Italian seasoning and sausage, it made the pasta easier to enjoy but I wanted to review the pasta also on it's own.

Skinny Pop. Popcorn Review.

I was surprised I hadn't tried this popular brand yet of popcorn, so I thought I'd try it now for review. I have also done quite a few popcorn reviews (search them on my blog).

These are so very plain, there is no salt and no buttery flavour. I would eat them as a last resort but I wouldn't buy them and I rate them 2.5/5.

SunRype. Fruit Source Superfruits. Mango Fruit Bar Review.

 

I grew up with their fruit to go (that I haven't had since I was a kid), which are thinner but the same thing; this felt nostalgic for me but I wanted to try these fruit bars for review.

This tastes just like a fruit to go as suspected and this particular one has a lovely mango flavour. Though the thick texture is a bit odd but not bad. I think I prefer the fruit to go, though I'd eat it again if offered but I don't think I'd buy anymore but I rate it 4/5.

I was eyeing various blind boxes on this website kikagoods, this is what I was eyeing the Emma Secret Forest Tea Party blind box:

They are having a sale so I thought I'd snatch it now before it becomes 40 bucks. The ad is in CAD but the cart is in USD.

I made my purchase today December 9th 2021. It shipped not even an hour or two after I placed the order, this was fastest ship out I've seen from anybody, insane!

Today is now December 22nd 2021 and this is what I received:

This one's name is Earl, how cute! The quality and feel is impeccable and looks great. I'm a little stingy with money so I think this MAY be overpriced but I understand why they are a bit pricey, so this was more of a splurge for me. I was really hoping for one of the white and pink ones, as they would fit my new room nicer BUT I love Earl. This box was a great idea, great purchase and overall I rate the item 5/5 and my shopping experience I rate 4/5.

The Bralette Co. Clothing and Website Review.

 

I was eyeing a bralette from this company, sadly they no longer have it but I was doing some black Friday shopping and thought I'd try this company out for review.

With the help of the Honey extension I found this coupon, that saved me almost 12 bucks.

Today is December 20th 2021 and this is what I received:

This is a completely different top and when I went to investigate, the top I ordered was no longer on their website but I was not notified of this, not that I know of anyway unless I had missed an email; but they went ahead without my go ahead and sent me something completely different, instead of offering a refund. This top I got IS listed and costs more than the top I purchased, even before my coupon code.

The top is cute, my mom loved it but not I'm bummed it's wrong and it's not great in quality, as the rhinestone detail on the one side is a bit wonky, this was not worth the price 1. listed for this item 2. what I paid in the first place for my order.

I'm bummed out I never got the top I wanted, I didn't want to pay to ship it back or have to go all the way to the post office so I will keep it and wear it but overall I'm not thrilled. I don't know their other products and their quality but I don't think this site is worth it from my experience but I'm glad I tried it for review and I rate the top itself 3.5/5 but the shopping experience 2.5/5.

Update the more I look at the top I received the more I hate it. I'm not going to be keeping it, I hate it. New rating for the top 1.5/5.

Arby's. Triple Chocolate Cookie Review.

I recently did two Arby's reviews (search them on my blog) and today this is the triple chocolate cookie.

This was more like a brownie in flavour and texture. It was so warm, melty and rich, this was richer than Bill Gates! Haha! I'd eat another one but it's a lot to eat at once but I rate it 4/5.

Arby's. Crinkle Fries and Gravy Review.

 

I recently did an Arby's review (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying out the new crinkle fries and their gravy.

They have poutine on the menu but using their curly fries, which I don't want; I'd be happier with a proper poutine with fries.

These crinkle fries aren't too bad, they taste like frozen fries but I'd eat them again if I was in the mood for fries next time I'm there and I rate them 3/5.

The gravy is very beefy in flavour and a bit too salty, not the worst gravy I've had but not a great gravy, I don't know if I'd get it again but maybe if they used it for a proper poutine but I rate it 3/5.

Stockupmarket. International Snacks. Product and Website Review.

 

I've been eyeing my favourite candy (caramel creams) and they were quickly selling out on various websites and the only store in town that had them closed but I saw they still had them in stock on this website. 

I decided to buy two bags, along side various other snacks, these are often rare snacks and international snacks from all over the world.
