Tim Hortons. Roast Beef Artisan Sandwich Review.

 

I've done very many reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying their roast beef artisan sandwich. I've done their other roast beef sandwhich that I was in love with but this one uses different bread, seemingly different sauce and more toppings.

I chose chipotle sauce, they also had ranch and mayo as options but I wanted a kick of heat today. I really liked this sandwich, I felt their chipotle doesn't taste the same as the one they use for their breakfast wraps, though it might the same but not a bad sauce still. I would buy this sandwich again, to spice up my meal, as I normally get a turkey bacon club or a BLT. Solid sandwich but I don't think I've often had a bad Tim Hortons sandwich, so I rate it 4/5.

Freeyumm. Banana Maple Cookies Review.

 

This is my first time trying this brand. This is a banana maple soft baked cookie, it's gluten free, dairy free and nut free.

It's a bit odd of a texture but these are really nice for a healthier cookie, great for gluten free. I'd eat them again if offered but I don't know if I'd buy them again but I rate them 3.5/5.

I've done a few reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and I did a peanut butter energii ball review a year ago almost, I've very late posting the second one but this one is cocoa.

Sorry I only got a photo of the cross-section. It's got a good flavour and not a bad texture, like a fudgey brownie. I preferred the peanut butter ones. I'd eat them again if offered but I'm not sure if I'd buy them again, I'd have to crave them but I rate them 3.5/5.

Great Value. Chocolate and Vanilla Creme Cookies Review.

 

I've done quite a few reviews of this brand (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying chocolate and vanilla creme sandwich cookies. I was looking for a dupe for the name brand, so I picked these up.

They smell like bike tires, so like car tires but less rubbery haha. They taste knock-off though but they are not bad, they are growing on me. I would eat them again but I'm not sure if I'd buy them again, I'd have to crave them but I give them a 3.5/5.

Dr. Oetker. Giuseppe. Hawaiian Pizza Review.

I've done many reviews from this brand (search them on my blog) and I'm aiming to try each type I can get my hands on, today I'm doing Hawaiian. I only did one review last year, I had forgotten all about it, I got a few saved and ready to post haha.

It's a good Hawaiian with a pretty good crust but I'm not wowed, I can take it or leave it. I don't know if I'd buy it again but I'd eat it if offered and I rate it 3.5/5.

Bang Energy. Strawberry Blast Energy Drink Review.

 

I love this brand, they have my favourite energy drinks. I've done quite a few reviews (check them on my blog) and today I'm trying the strawberry blast.

It tastes like strawberry medicine, I'm not a fan but I don't hate it. I much prefer my favourite the Delish Strawberry Kiss. I don't think I'd buy or drink this one again and I rate it 2.5/5.

Squishable. Product and Website Review.

 

I had decided to feed my inner child with the purchase of a Squishable. This is the first of a few I want to purchase, depending how the review goes.

I saw they were doing a sale on retiring items, so this is the first one I wanted.

Here is a breakdown of my cart, they took 12 bucks off retail price for the sale and yes shipping is 19 bucks almost but I did select the second one, the first and cheapest shipping option was 16 bucks almost but the option I went with was faster seemingly, as the first option did not estimate a delivery date. For my shipping option it states 1 business day for delivery, once shipped. Today is January 9th 2024 and I placed my order, we will wait and see when it arrives.

Today is January 11th 2024, I never got an email the item shipped but it has arrived today! Here it is:

He's very cute, fluffier and quite different in shape and colour compared to the photo but it's not a big problem for me. He's bigger than I thought and a great first purchase. I am going to be purchasing a few more over the following months, as I went through their site and found 6 others I want, though two are holiday items but I hope to grab them soon.

Very fast shipping, easy shopping and great product, I'm overall very happy. I rate my bread guy a 4/5 and the shopping experience a 4/5. I would've given both a higher score but their product is quite bit off from the photo and I'm experiencing post-shopping blues, it's a weird personal feeling where I'm not in love with a purchase, as I was when I made the purchase; it's nothing against the company, they make a great product and again I'll be buying more.

Tim Hortons. Retro Donuts Review.

 

I have done many reviews from this restaurant (search them on my blog) and today I'm trying their retro line of donuts. I tried one maybe two of these long ago, the cinnamon sugar twist and the dutchie.

The walnut crunch has a sprinkling of walnuts, which is less than the previous one and a bit more cake like than what other's remember and have reported. I liked this donut quite a bit and I'm not upset about the lack of walnuts, I'd eat it again if offered but I don't know if I'd buy it again and I rate it 3.5/5.

The blueberry fritter is so sickly sweet, filled with blueberry jam, I hate filled donuts and this one is so sickly sweet, like a blueberry muffin on steroids. I did not like this one but I didn't hate it, I would not eat it again or buy it again and I rate it 2/5.

The cinnamon sugar twist is just as I remembered it, they make a loop version I prefer more but this was great; light and airy. I would buy it and eat it again and I rate it 3.5/5.

Lastly we have the dutchie, this is one that tastes familiar to me but I don't recall. I enjoyed this one, especially the raisins, I love raisins haha. I don't know if I'd buy it again but I'd eat it again if offered and I rate it 3.5/5.

I realized I don't like donuts anymore, this will be my last donut review.

C4 Energy. Mango Foxtrot Energy Drink Review.

 

This is my second and likely last review of this brand, I did one other (search it on my blog) and today I'm trying the Mango Foxtrot. 

It's pour stream is pink but it's white in colour in the glass, strange haha. It does not taste like mango at all, it tastes like pink crayons. I wouldn't buy it or drink it again and I rate 2.5/5.

C4 Energy. Strawberry Starburst Energy Drink Review.

 

This is my first review of this brand, I thought I'd start off with one I'd think I'd love.

It's fruity but not quite Starburst, I found it was just alright. I might drink it again if offered but I wouldn't buy it and I rate it 3/5.

Cadbury. Candy Cane Mini Eggs Review.

 

I love mini eggs but I've never had candy cane ones, so I was looking forward to trying them for review.

I don't love them but they taste like candy cane hot chocolate, which is nice. I don't think I'd buy them but I'd eat them if offered, I prefer the regular ones and I rate them 3.5/5.

Twix. Caramel Centre Biscuits Review.

 

I'm not a lover of the chocolate bar but I wanted to try these cookies for review.

They smell divine but they are almost rock solid and taste like the inside of someone's old cupboard. I did not like them but I've had worse cookies. I would not eat them again and I rate them 2/5.

Planet Pizza. Pizza And More Review.

 

This is my first and last time eating at this restaurant. I got pizza (with two cheeses, broccoli and roasted red pepper, mind you I didn't mean to add the cheddar cheese), chicken wings and cheesy sticks.

The pizza was bad! The cheddar cheese was not a good choice (my fault), the crust was dry and while it wasn't burnt, it tasted burnt and the concept of having the cheese on top was bad. I hate cheese on top, I find it smothers the rest of the pizza and changes the texture, making it look, taste and feel undercooked, I have an issue with this texture. Bad pizza but was still edible and I rate it 1.5/5.

The chicken was good but the sauce tasted bland and boring, almost like a weird bottled sauce. I didn't hate it but it wasn't great, though nicer chicken than most other pizza places and I rate it 3.5/5

Lastly the cheesy sticks, I think it's just pizza crust, so again it was dry and tasted almost burnt. The cheese on top was nice but a bite or two was funky but not in a good way. I didn't think it was that bad but I didn't love it and I rate it 3/5.
